Nah!!!!!!!!!!!!! Loving it too much at the moment.

Those stereo moments with the DTs though..... they make me want to put the world on pause occasionally.

Had a fab night out dancing. Saw that IAMF filled the thread and didn't even start a new one

So here it is and if you don't like the title.... well it's almost 3 in the morning. What's a Mars to do?

btw IAMF... I'd go with the nursery option. Your parents sound fab but the PILs are being a pain and actually that is far more unsettling for your DTs than the consistency of nursery!

If, however, you want to stop working... then do it, but if you enjoy your work, nursery it is!

Morning ladies! Right.... gotta do the school run.

I was wondering where you had all gone to, good title Mars! No, despite everything its a wonderful worls esp with friends like you! Its a lovely morning, all is well in the Peace household and I am off to the pub to meet my Mum! Talk later!

triplets · 05/10/2007 08:59

whoops...........world!

TripletEm · 05/10/2007 09:51

So glad it wasn't up to me to do the title!!
F.G. you frightened me yesterday and I had a bad dream!!.Read your post before i went to bed and had a nightmare that I came onto MN and had to chose the title. I spent half of the dream trying to type in D'y correctly(not do ya, yikes!! F.G. sure is scary)and then came up with the title 'Brrrrrrrrr D'y think it's cold in here if so come outside'!!!! (Ohhh, hope that dosen't mean anything, honestly I love you all)
Well, it's my 'big house clean' day today,so I'm off to put my pinny on and be a good house wife!!!
Oh, and I have a very stiff neck thanks to my vanity.Had a very akward and shallow bath last night as I didn't want to get it wet and mess it up and then went to bed and tried to sleep like I was in traction,so it wouldn't curl!! Still woke up looking like I had a birds nest on my head!!

ExpectingKat · 05/10/2007 10:41

Hi all, Hope everyone is good as I havn't been on for a while. Everyones been poorly and DS ended up in hospital friday he's doing great now thank goodness, also been been poorly myself just startin to feel human again.
I had my scan last wednesday. Was lovely to see the twins, but after my scan was told twin b has 3 soft markers which could mean somthing or nothing, tryin my hardest not to worry also not to sure how to feel at mo almost feel a bit numb if that makes sence! I could've seen my consultant and they would've offered me an ammo but as I don't want one decided to wait for next scan and go from there.
Was wonderin as both twins are lyin transverse does anyone know the odds of them movin so hopefully endin up without a c section?

largeginandtonic · 05/10/2007 10:49

mornin, back soon. Baby feeding...

largeginandbloodpunch · 05/10/2007 11:34

Depends how many weeks you are Kat? They can always turn anyway, no set time scale to it. Mine used to flip and i hadnt even noticed! Sorry to hear you have some worries with them, hopefully it will all turn out to be ok. When is your next scan, do you have long to wait?

Nice thread title btw. Im name changing for Halloween. Not sure about it yet though.

I would put them in to nursery too, better to have consistency. Maybe your folks would have them for the occasional weekend if you didnt need them in the week, then you could get a rest too

Bad ending to yesterday, farcking car shagged again. I may disown it So no car and can only drive to school as it is too far to walk as all the bloody school near us could not take 4 children at once. I may get on to the Local Education Authority. Trouble is they are about as much use as a chocolate teapot God darn it all

MarsLady · 05/10/2007 11:49

Get your MP involved as well!

Glad you like the title. It's my phrase when I get really busy like last week. I grab the wine and shout "Stop the world I wanna get off!!!!!!" lol

Expecting... mine were spinning continually. They ended up as a transverse lie and I had to have a caesarean birth. I so wanted a vaginal one. Never mind... these things are sent to bore us!

Oh, look at it in here, its all big and new and shiny ...... there! Its home again. I was going to bagsie the top bunk but someone's sleeping in my bed. It could be Marsilocks since she was still awake at 3am!! Your DTs will be getting in a night nurse to sort out your sleep habits

Kat, hello again, glad you popped by. Remind us how far along you are. I would think that the babies can turn and move at any point. Mine did, fairly far on, and it was mighty uncomfortable the night they did it. My bump started moving in all directions

LG&T, awful about the car. And definitely get on to the Education Authority, that needs a bit of sorting out. Tell them its me and that I'm big and scary.

Em, so sorry

dingdong, I ditto Mars. I saw your post last night but I was dammed if I was going to start the new thread My reaction was...nursery. It might be a bit of fun for your PIL but its real life for you and your DTs heads will be in a muddle. Consistency wins everytime IMHO. I guess your a bit sad about your own parents..... You would feel a lot happier about asking for weekend sitters though if you had more nursery sessions......

Lion costumes....mmmm.....brown balaclava with tons and tons of yellow crepe paper stiched on for the mane? Loads, bunched up close together so that it makes it really tough and stand up by itself. ???? You need a talented face painter too.

frumpygrumpy · 05/10/2007 12:06

Oh its a jungle out there!!!

MarsLady · 05/10/2007 12:08

Funny FG! Funny!

My gorgeous godson is taking me out to lunch. And he's paying! He's got a paid job for his gap year (he's going travelling later on) and so he's taking me to lunch today to tell me his plans! (Plus he gets a 20% discount in Fine Burger Company so that's where lunch will be)

OP posts:
frumpygrumpy · 05/10/2007 12:10

He is gorgeous indeed! Tell him his Auntie Frumpy is a lush, can eat anytime of the day or night and doesn't spit on her hanky to wipe faces either

MarsLady · 05/10/2007 12:16

Well if auntie frumpy were in Londinium ever then I'm sure he'd see for himself!

Right gotta go get ready. Can't let the boy down!

ExpectingKat · 05/10/2007 13:11

largeginandbloodpunch very sorry to hear about your car, hope you get sumthing sorted soon! my next scan is the 24th of this month so not much longer, I'm havin them every 4 wks at the mo. They said each soft marker on its own is nothing to worry about it and very common but as theres all 3 on 1 it gives a greater risk, as 2 can dissapear on there own (3 being only 2 vessals in cord) I'm keepin my fingers crossed they will go
I'm only 21+4wks so I know there's plenty of time for movement, but since I was at hospital at 15wks they both seem to be in the same place. As they don't seem to be flippin around in all directions now, can't imagine them doing it when they get bigger lol

frumpygrumpy · 05/10/2007 15:24

Kat, Mars can correct me if I'm wrong.......but if I were you I'd assume the position on all fours, head to the ground, bum in the air, regularly and as often as possible. Generally recommended for turning breech babies, I'm sure it can only help. Take a Hello mag down to the floor with you

Its so warm here today freezing in the mornings and luscious in the afternoons. Love it.

MarsLady · 05/10/2007 15:30

Still plenty of time for them to turn darling. You've a while before you need to worry! FG gives good advice!
