Nah!!!!!!!!!!!!! Loving it too much at the moment.

Those stereo moments with the DTs though..... they make me want to put the world on pause occasionally.

Had a fab night out dancing. Saw that IAMF filled the thread and didn't even start a new one

So here it is and if you don't like the title.... well it's almost 3 in the morning. What's a Mars to do?

Hi all, not posted for ages - tiny twins sure do keep you busy don't they?! BUT desperately need to know from you multiple mums, is it likely that my tummy will eventually look the same again or should I just accept that it's a permanent change? Am 8 weeks post-partum now and lost a lot of weight in the first few weeks after the birth (was feeling smug about this but the pounds have stopped falling off now and I'm still a stone and a half heavier than I was pre-pregnancy).

Anyway, my tummy - never my best feature, I must admit has gone decidedly saggy, I have a big droopy overhang over my c-section scar and in fact the skin has a crepe paper effect which isn't getting any better. If I do a ton of stomach exercises, is it likely to improve? Or is it all part of teh joy of multiple birth? (I'm v lazy when it comes to exercise and really don't want to put in the effort if it's going to be pointless). Any advice, especially about my crepey skin would be MUCH appreciated. I've started using Bio-Oil but so far to no effect!

Moisturising takes about a year.... so don't give up.

The weight will go!

Well done for posting again! I remember those early weeks/months.... post when you can.

Now are there pictures of the wee gorgeous ones?

bellabelly: I have the 'crepey' skin thing going on, but it is much better than before and if you exercise(if you manage to find the time or energy!!)you can tighten up the muscles and get the tone back which makes the crepe effect less visable. I found yoga good for my stomach as I could relax at the same time.

TripletEm · 05/10/2007 18:47

Oh,and the weight does go mainly due to running around after multiples!!! I was 12 stone when I had my dx3 and now I'm back to 8 1/2 stone which is a little heavier than before(I am short, not super slim!!)but good enough for me!!
Forgot to say also, my friend had twins, she is a fitness instructor and still has a six pack, there is hope!!!

inamuckingfuddle · 05/10/2007 20:47

love the new title mars, I wasn't brave enough to come up with one of my own, too scared of FG I have stopped the world and got off, just for a couple of hours tonight, nice glass of pouilly fuisse anyone?

Thanks to you all for your childcare advice, which fits with my gut feeling on the matter so I'm glad you agreed with me I hope nursery can fit them in now...

inamuckingfuddle · 05/10/2007 20:48

81/2 stone I haven't weighed that since I was 81/2

TripletEm · 05/10/2007 20:55

Of course when I weigh myself I am naked, necklace off, been to the toilet, starved myself for two days!! I'm a short arse,my bil's tease me that when I go camping I take a pillow case not a sleeping bag!!

inamuckingfuddle · 05/10/2007 20:57

lucky you tripletem! I'm the opposite, hands that don't fit gloves, size 8 feet that are horribly wide, a head that doesn't firt in hats...I'd love to be little

TripletEm · 05/10/2007 21:05

My feet are size 4!!

My DH loves big woman, his ideal partner(sob) would be Roseanne.

TripletEm · 05/10/2007 21:08

And its not much fun being short. I get told I'm cute, not sexy. I get patted on the head and tall men try and look down my top!! Shame theres nothing there!! Oh and I always get to look up peoples noses!!
