mommalove, you take this time, you need to stop (should have stopped WEEKS ago) and don't feel one bit like you should be worrying about them/work. Life is too precious and this time so short. You stop, you rest up and you prepare your mind. Soak up all the quiet and sunshine and mentally be ready. Thats the bit I wish I'd done more of. You prepare your head for these two little gorgeous bundles you will cradle in the crook of each arm and feel very smug with yourself. Its hell and heaven once they arrive, but before the busy bit becomes too busy, you will feel proud of yourself. You've done a great job of growing them this far. Now finish them off under the grill

I was recently asked if mine were twins - they are 6 and 2!

frumpygrumpy · 16/08/2007 19:52

Momma, you remind them of the quote "necessity is the mother of all invention" ........... Let them invent! You have other issues pressing. Cheeky. Hope you get freedom soon xx. And rant as much as you like, I frequently do, about anything. What? Is this a thread about something in particular?

DP is at this very moment cooking me steak! I'm not a big steak fan but I'm loving the smell and drooling at the mouth. I kind of like this life

Meeely2 · 16/08/2007 19:56

FG - your DP is home cooking you steak!! Mine has gone out with the boys!

About to get myself a big plate of cheese and perhaps a small dram of something to accompany it. Did another 4 miler yesterday (wanders off kitchen-wards looking smug......)

Meeely2 · 16/08/2007 20:50

done the painting, now drinking wine, my dh is out at rugby training, code for "run round a field, get slightly out of breath and go and recover in a pub nearby...."

Meeely2 · 17/08/2007 14:01

excellent timing FG.....

Meeely2 · 17/08/2007 14:02

oh and DH broke his nose at taining last night, so apparently was doing more than just running round a field...

so he ran around a field, looked over his shoulder to ask a friend how much more before 'refreshments', tripped over the friend in front who had stopped to pull his pants out his bum and whacked his nose off his own knee???? oh I'm cynical.

frumpygrumpy · 17/08/2007 14:05

oh ta hen, love a hot one

Meeely2 · 17/08/2007 14:06

FG!!! were u there???? wow thats spooky

Meeely2 · 17/08/2007 14:07

i think actually in his rush to get to the bar, he tripped and fell, his nose catching the edge of the bar on his way down - his story, kicked in the face......

frumpygrumpy · 17/08/2007 14:10

I am omnipresent

d'y ever wonder..........

frumpygrumpy · 17/08/2007 14:12

I'm laughing, your version is much more accurate, allow him the 'kicked in the face though', it'll keep his ego plumped, ooops, I mean self esteem high

I'm not here.

tripletsandtwins · 17/08/2007 14:17

Not TOILET DUCK! Gah, that's almost as bad as the bleach mine found yesterday we'll be buying new carpets!

If you're wondering about thread titles, I have to say:
D'ya ever wonder what deity you offended in a previous life to be given multiples?

or...

D'ya ever wonder why multiples like destroying your house!
(sorry for the negativeness... I had a cr*ppy day with my terrible trio)

Hello meeely, I don't think we've met!

frumpygrumpy · 17/08/2007 14:21

must be d'y, I'm Scottish and fussy

Meeely2 · 17/08/2007 14:23

hello t&t, i'm have been around for a while now - on and off, only just made a reappearance after chopster convinced me to. I am Emily, mummy to the devil children, obviously mine are WAY worse than anyone elses, no-one can POSSIBLY understand, sob sob (more tea please FG)....
