Cool!

I really must do some study and stop pressing refresh! lol

Harrogatemum · 15/03/2007 09:02

triplets - you are a fellow Amazon!! Where do you buy your trousers - do tell, I only have 5 shops that cater for me, Zara, Topshop tall, Wallis long, DP tall and Long Tall Sally....any advance on those???

Mars - get back to your essay (actually I am surprised you can see it for your enormous bosom getting in the way).

Estar - do you just have the twins at the mo? Remind me how old they are.

twinsnikki · 15/03/2007 09:04

Dear all mothers out there...

This thread is addictive...or am I just a lonely old multiple mother dying to chat.....

I sit here at home in the office, trying to work, I am suppose to have one of my machines linked to my clients site and my other machine, linked to my work mail incase I need to be contacted...

What do I have...one to my client site and one to mumsnet!

It is fair more interesting here than where I am suppose to be..!!

Mars,

I think you win the bosom think hands down...got to an 'H' when I was carrying...does that count...pre motherhood had a nice full size DD, but after, when now I drag my nipples around the floor...bit like two air balloons with no helium...

Does matter, just strap 'em up and off I go...DD's love them...always say..are we going to get big boobies like mummy..'...nice to know someone appreciates them!!

Snigger.

P.S Sorry about the typos trying to look at two screens at once...never was a touch typist...

twinsnikki · 15/03/2007 09:23

I was just thinking, that my saggy bangers are in competition with my bouncy castle stomach...after carrying the girls I was left with a lovely apron...of skin...which was the first time I had ever been able to sit down and cradle my belly in my lap.

I exercised regularly and lost over 15kgs of weight and went from a size 20 down to a 12, however, everything else shrunk but the hangbag of skin just sits there...

It is as if I have a pair of testicles hanging off my abdomen...

DH has promised me a tummy tuck to get rid of it..it makes buying trousers hard, cos the cut these days is hipsters and by the time you have tucked in my kangeroo pouch...they don't look nice...so I buy baggy clothes to allow for it...

I have to buy BIG Knickers, otherwise the fold of skin pops out the edges and this is not a good look in a thong!

Am I alone in this arena?

Seeking other bouncy castle tummies out there......!!

estar · 15/03/2007 11:12

Yes, I am in the overhang-over-my-waistband brigade too. Annoying as I am a size ten everywhere else except my stomach.

'D'ya ever wonder if your stomach will always look like a deflated boucy castle......?

ps HM, I have non-id twin boys aged 3, and ds1 is five.

twinsnikki · 15/03/2007 11:49

Do you think that they would accept all our extra skinny bits for a latest dove advert?

Would it be seen as beautiful...and would it make you want to buy the soap??

Hello all, DH home...yay!

Am baking 75 cupcakes for red nose dat tomorrow, will split them between the infant and junior school staff rooms. My kitchen looks like a bakery blood bath (red icing)

DH is home as he has broken his foot, not good news but fab for me as he around to help and god forbid if i go in to labour.....ds#4 tried to make an appearance at 32 weeks. Have legs firmly crossed!

Congratulations Estar on your lovely baby! I do so love babies, jus wish the stork would drop them on the front door instead of having to carry them for 10 months and then go through labour

LOve to you all xxxx

nikki - tell us about your twins, how old are they and what flavour are they? I also have the obligatory apron of skin which I have to tuck into my jeans every morning......nice.

Estar - gosh so you are going to have 4 kids.....DH keeps saying never say never for us to have a fourth but I'm not sure i want to do it again, its the whole pregnancy thing for soooo long that puts me off I think!

Hi LG&T - fab news about your DH being home.....and how exactly are you finding the time to bake 75 cupcakes????

twinsnikki · 15/03/2007 12:13

Hiya All,

Gosh, you sound so homely will all the baking...!

Estar {{takes her hat off to you}}

Bows down in respect...four children..wow, I hadn't even banked on 2, although I come from a family of 10.

1 brother, 9 sisters, which I am second youngest..

twinsnikki · 15/03/2007 12:19

I suppose I should count myself lucky, we have triplets in the line, and I was carrying three, but one vanished by 12 weeks...these things happen...mind you, my girls eat for England, so they probably gobbled it up....

largeginandtonic · 15/03/2007 14:10

LOL Nikki.....i too had a third baby that had vanished by 15 weeks....mine eat for Britain, never thought about them resorting to cannabalism at such a young age. Obviously the obligatory eat your brother at 2 and a half happened....

Cakes decorated, i may take a piccie and post it. They look quite funny.

Twin girls > I dont do girls. 1 singleton variety is plenty enough for me

Keep worrying this baby will pop out pink, pretty sure i will nedd picking up off the floor if it is.....

Hiya largeginandtonic,

I love that name, it is terrific!

What would happen if you had a girl, OMG, your face would be a picture.

Sorry was not ignore you all, just got involved with a peice of work and arguing with my boss...

My sort out my member profile...slack by name, slack by nature...YEAP..sigh that will be me...

Why bother with profile, I have just summed myself up in one line!!

I would love to have had a boy, although I would probably find it a little difficult sorting out those extra bits and toilet training...

It seems so weird, you know DH always says he feels strange when having to sort out our girls bits and peices..when they need cream or such like...I wonder as a mother of boys whether you experience the same thing..?

I guess I will never know...

Got to do postoffice, sainsburys, and boots before picking them up....

OPPS....must dash.....

frumpygrumpy · 15/03/2007 17:16

Its been a fairly rotten day in the frumpy household and I have poured a glass of white to mellow the frustrations.

In addition, DP won't make his flight and will be home late on, missing all the major work of the evening (am I the only one that finds once the kids are in bed the work begins?) I dream of tucking kids in and relaxing for the rest of the night. It used to be like that when I only had DD and before the school routine got in the way.

Anyway, moaning won't make it better......

I've been thinking about dingdong's outfit all day......

dingdongjustforyoufg · 15/03/2007 18:23

oh frumpy poor you, hope the wine does its trick - DT1 has been a screaming stroppy nightmare banshee today, so I will be joining you v soon. Bless you for thinking about my outfit all day - more than I have managed! Any inspiration? I was hoping to go shopping on my own this weekend but...have big achy period tummy and I know I am prone to make some dodgy clothing decisions at this time of the month so may be best to leave it til next week

frumpygrumpy · 15/03/2007 18:30

I put together some ideas about half an hour ago and then my Broadband connection went arse over tit (as it has been doing for over a week) and I lost everything! I am just going to drop three children into the batch (nicely y'understand) and hash it together again. I like projects like this. What colouring are you?

frumpygrumpy · 15/03/2007 18:31

Does everyone have a batch? I don't, I have a bath. But then I have had two glasses of wine so bath/batch who gives a ........
