Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
MarsLady · 14/03/2007 16:07

I love you girls so much! You always make me smile.

Got my french assignment result. I didn't deserve it at all. I got 83% and I did the assignment by looking back in the book not by studying. I'd've had a much better mark if I'd done the work but I got too busy

How's about calling the thread "D'ya ever wonder why you don't just relax against those ample bosoms for a while?"

frumpygrumpy · 14/03/2007 16:31

D'y ever wonder where your ample bosoms went?

D'y ever wonder where Mars keeps her baking tins?

D'y ever wonder what Nutella would taste like off Paolo's chest?

D'y ever wonder if Paolo is naked?

D'y ever wonder if having another drink is essential or stupid?

D'y ever wonder why cooking dinner always gets in the way of a good session?

thats MN session girls.

MarsLady · 14/03/2007 16:39

Honey the answer to most of those Paolo questions (according to you) is YES!!!!!!!!!! lol

piximon · 14/03/2007 16:39

I'm now converted to the joys of the baby swing. Ok it takes up half the room, but the silence is worth the stubbed toes.
Now I just need to get my hands on another one as DT1 is very grumpy at having to share.

Mars-did you get the DCs making yoghurt yet?

Estar-Many congratulations! Give us all the info...how many etc?

HM-glad you had a good weekend, could you lend me your long legs for a while please? I'd appreciate a change of view from just looking at knees.

FG-you've forgotton all about me! LOL

Triplets-good luck. We're also undertaking a move in the next few months. Last time I moved house I was 4 so am terrified at the prospect of all the work involved, and just the idea of going out and forgetting where I live. Also the thought of sorting through 26 years worth of accumulated stuff....agh

Dingdong-we'll find you something to wear. What features do you want to show off?

Kelly, Doris and everyone else how are you all doing today?

Today DS1 went on a nursery trip, DD1 has gone to grandad house for the night and the twins have barely stopped smiling.

triplets · 14/03/2007 17:23

Hi all,
Yes, its a terrifying thought of all the sorting out, throwing away and packing, seing as we have never done it before. We moved into this house in Aug 1979 with a 6 week old baby, we had
a cooker
a fridge
a washing machine
an old table and three chairs
a tv
a rocking chair
a cot
a double bed
that was it!
Come to think of it we haven`t got much more now!
The big thing for me is the loft, it is full of Matthews things, but time to move on. Having said all of that we will probably still be here in 20 years time!

MarsLady · 14/03/2007 17:31
frumpygrumpy · 14/03/2007 18:39

Oooops! Pixi! Couldn't forget you honey x. I am in the process of giving away my baby swing to one of our workmen. If you were near me you could have had it happily. It was a great thing for me when the twins came aboard. I ended up having one of almost everything and just alternating them round the room so they had a change of scene. The still loved a go in it when they were about 18 months

Triplets, would your new place accomodate the things of Matthews that you need? Although I am obsessive about clearing out (clean space, clean mind) I think it is very important to hang on to things that make you happy and make you sad. Sometimes you need to feel, touch and remember even if it does make you cry for a month. Don't feel you must part with anything of his, however small or big. It would cut like a knife if you suddenly wanted something back. I don't mean to be Mrs Doom and Gloom

C'mon dingdong, we're waiting........

frumpygrumpy · 14/03/2007 18:39

Mars, don't you have a night out to get to?

dingdongjustforyoufg · 14/03/2007 18:54

ok ok, some of us have been at work all day you know

here goes... I am 5'7, size 14, quite well proportioned, best features are not my legs, arms are quite good, boobs ok, a bit pear shaped...I'm thinking of a trouser suit as april in Ireland is likely to be bloody freezing

over to you, trinny!

dingdongjustforyoufg · 14/03/2007 18:55

BTW I'm pear shaped, not my boobs, they are still in reasonably good shape

twinsnikki · 14/03/2007 19:06

FrumpyGrumpy,

Yes, In life, I am really a bag lady...during the night, I make some extra cash, wheeling and dealing my croupy 3 year old, so that she gets as much fresh air (if you can get that in Bromley), as possible...also wakes me up so that I can cope with her distress....

Nic
x

twinsnikki · 14/03/2007 19:11

only another...err...4 or so nights to go.......ARHH...assuming they get rid of it in a week or so....

{crys into her tea}}}} , as her biscuit becomes to soggy and vanishes to the bottom of her cup...

Harrogatemum · 14/03/2007 19:28

Pixi - have my legs, they are exhausted from going up the stairs so many times to put the DTs back in bed- they both had sleeps at nursery today so are hyper now......joy

On first glass of Pinot Grigio - anyone else joining me in a small beverage this evening???

Dingdong - I am rubbish at style, I know what suits me but often ignore it. So I will leave it to FrumpyTrinnyGrumpy to sort you out......

dingdongjustforyoufg · 14/03/2007 19:33

snap HM, am on my 2nd pinot grigio as I type

dingdongjustforyoufg · 14/03/2007 19:41

make that 3rd

Harrogatemum · 14/03/2007 19:43

dingdong - just off to pour another glass and cook myself a Thai stir fry as its all gone quiet upstairs, phew!!!

dingdongjustforyoufg · 14/03/2007 19:45

must be one of those nights...DT1 has only just stopped talking to Simba

Harrogatemum · 14/03/2007 20:37

interesting.......watching Phil and Kirsty then off to bed, DH away and DT2 has been getting up at 4.30am so need some zzzzzzzzzzzzzs....

triplets · 14/03/2007 22:00

I have just watched Phil and Kirsty, wish they could find me my dream home! Frumpy, there are so many of Matthews things, I probably wouldn`y part with any of it, the thing was I had already hoarded lots of his younger stuff I wanted to keep before he died, thinking one day he would want it for his own children. When these three turned up none of it was any use, they were winter babies, he was a summer baby, even his pram is still in the loft. It was a big beautiful coach built pram, I so loved walking along the seafront with it. Totally impractical for three, althoug they were so minute I could probably have got all three into it! I am a hoarder though and know my loft is well overdue a clear out, theres more up there than there is down here! Thank you all for another entertaining day ladies, can always count on you to bring a smile, you and your ample bosoms! Mines a 38c does that count? Also got a 36" inside leg!!

estar · 14/03/2007 22:17

yawn

Just finished helping a friend with her essay - offered to go through it for her as I love to nitpick at puncuation and grammar errors (many of which I will probably make now after bold statement indicating my perceived self-perfection combined with extreme tiredness) but I didn't realise that her essay would be quite so bad and therefore it took much longer than anticipated . Tried very hard to be polite and encouraging though, even though I couldn't understand half of it .

Anyway, in answers to questions, don't know how many, don't know when due, but am hopefully getting an early scan as periods have been a bit wierd lately and so will use that as an excuse to find out my dates rather than my real reason which is to find out as soon as possible HOW MANY! I LURVE my boys and wouldn't trade them for the world, but oh, how I would love to just have one this time and be able to enjoy and remember it a bit more. Last time it was all such a blur! Bad news (although apparently good as less chance of miscarriage) is that I am chucking up all over the place so am probably in very early stages still, which means so far to go

Overun, really hope everything went well and that you are home soon and getting lots of help xxxxx

estar · 14/03/2007 22:22

That's a good point triplets, Mars - just how ample are your bosoms? Just so we know whether its worth renaming this thread in your honour.

estar · 14/03/2007 22:24

(forgot to add the cheeky wink there which would have made me sound a lot less gay)

MarsLady · 14/03/2007 22:49

It's too late estar!

My bosoms are an ample G cup! lol

estar · 14/03/2007 23:08

Ok, you win. I was going to boast that mine are an E, but I can't top that. Although actually, mine might be an F by now considering how sore and swollen they are at the moment!

All in favour of 'D'ya ever wonder how Mars stays so ample when the rest of us are heading decidedly south?'.........?

estar · 14/03/2007 23:10

Oh, and I don't mind telling you, as I think I've mentioned it in my profile, that we are moving to Morecambe for church-starting. Think you guys are all southerners/yorkshirefolk/upinthehighlands, yes?
