A new thread!
Especially for throckenholt

I was hoping the original one would go to 1000, but it was gettign a but annoying scrolling all the way done, so come over here instead.

How is everyone coping with the school holidays?

I'm fed up with the rubbish weather, as we're stuck in the house too much. I daren't take them to soft play as it packed during the hols and then I can't watch all four of them. Plus it costs a fortune.
Mine are changing so much. Rav is becoming a right wuss, scared of new places. I suppose it shows awareness, but it is annoying when I've driven miles for a nice day out and he just wants to sit and whine because he is too scared to go on anything! Shay is developing his houdini skills, and now has a tendancy to bolt out of parks so I have to watch him like a hawk. I must dig out the reins before we go on holiday.

Ta, will do

frumpygrumpy · 14/09/2006 10:57

Try a title like "I accidentally just snogged the postman" under chat, that'll get them

frumpygrumpy · 14/09/2006 10:57

Go on I dare you

MarsLady · 14/09/2006 11:05

Hey FG.... I'm on the final stretch. Just found out that my tutor is away till tomorrow.. but glad I didn't know before cos I wouldn't have started before tonight

However, last 800 words to write.

Okay... here's the question and let's see how you go. If you do well I'll open it across the board

Analyse Shakepeare's dramatic and peotic representations of misogyny in Cymbeline and the Sonnets

Go for your life babe. lol

frumpygrumpy · 14/09/2006 11:12

I'm gona take time Mars, I'm feeling the pressure and I can't falter at the first hurdle .

MarsLady · 14/09/2006 11:14

lol

Just remember, I'm home from work at about 4.30pm. So could you make sure your answer is double spaced, fully notated and that the book and page references are clear. All I'm wanted to do is to cut and paste from you babe. No pressure!

frumpygrumpy · 14/09/2006 11:19
MarsLady · 14/09/2006 11:31

Oh yes... and can you be sure to include the relevant critics. I find it adds weight to the argument.

And now I need to run as I am truly late for work. That's what comes of burning the candle at both ends. Mwah!!!!!!!!!!

(Hi Kelly.. will check in on you later.

Hi ladies

frumpygrumpy · 14/09/2006 13:55
Shock
MarsLady · 14/09/2006 18:08

Been looking and looking FG.... can't find it anywhere. Sigh........... will have to write the last 800 words myself!

frumpygrumpy · 14/09/2006 20:09

Ooooh bum and tits! I must have posted it somewhere stupid.....

Aw I'm crap at lying, Mars, the question scared me back into my shell and I've been cowering there for a while. Haven't read or watched that shakespeare play and my god what a question. I'm gona take my hat off to you but, as I warned you before, that where I keep my boobs so stand back......

Good luck with it, I'm standing by with a cool flannel

MarsLady · 14/09/2006 21:22

Frumpy...... never EVER change!

I love ya!!!!!!!!!!!!!

frumpygrumpy · 15/09/2006 13:39

Aw shucks! Couldn't change even if I tried Mars, same old, same old, sometimes the bits don't fit but I've always thought square peg/round hole was an advantage .

I'm cleaning but having a 20 min lunch break. So have you finished the essay? Will you celebrate with takeaway and a glass of something?

I'm going to see Robbie Williams in 3 days time.........think if I don't wax I'm tempting fate?

MarsLady · 15/09/2006 23:23

You gotta wax babe. Robbie likes 'em waxed!

Yes yes yes yes yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've finished that blinking essay. It has been posted and emailed to my tutor. I'm shaking off Shakey for the weekend before getting down to some serious revision!

I'm gonna dance the weekend away!

frumpygrumpy · 16/09/2006 10:56

OOOoooh lovely, dance dance dance, I'm quite sure shakespeare did, in between blockbusters.

My DTs are truly vile atm. Then they go and do something lovely and get a reprieve. I have a blister on my foot from new shoes. One said "sore bit mummy" and kissed my foot and the other said "cream on" and came back with an enormous tub of moisturiser. Now I have slimey feet for Robbie too .

MarsLady · 16/09/2006 12:07

DTs eh? lol

Mine alternate between kissing me madly and saying ov oo mummy ov oo and screaming no no no no no mummy...... nordy mummy nordy mummy nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

ad nauseum lol

I'm wondering who I should go and see. If you're seeing Robbie maybe I should give Justin a call and tell him I might be free! Hmmmmmmmmmm

frumpygrumpy · 16/09/2006 15:57

Double date Mars? Meet you at Pizza Express? Can I borrow your boob tube?

harrogatemum · 16/09/2006 20:53

Back from hols - hi everyone, just had a lurvely but not that hot week in Cornwall, stayed at great v. child friendly cottage on a farm, animal feeding every morning for the DTs, all fab. Felt a lot better by the time we went - mine was viral gastroenteritis Mars so soz for passing anything on!!!!

Is Kelly ok - confused by the messages on here?

frumpygrumpy · 17/09/2006 09:41

Hi HM, glad the holiday went well and that you're better. Kelly has a thread under other subjects, she's having a hard time atm. Haven't managed to do successful links.....

frumpygrumpy · 17/09/2006 09:41

All is not well in the frumpy household. I had a huge argument with DP last night. It wasn't good.

Kelly1978 · 17/09/2006 10:22

Aww FG
Hope you are ok, you seem to have been having a tough week. Sending you lots of hugs and kisses.

Hm, here

frumpygrumpy · 17/09/2006 11:55

I'll be fine Kelly, we're being normal for the kids but between us there is a horrible atmosphere. Strained I think is the word. We're usually non argumentative. C'est la vie. And its nothing like what you're having to deal with .

frumpygrumpy · 17/09/2006 11:56

Sometimes I think its good we do this only online, otherwise we'd be in each others houses every hour and can you imagine the kids.......

Kelly1978 · 17/09/2006 12:23

lol!
We should do though you know, us woman stick together and kick the men out.

Oh Kelly - just read most of the posts on your thread - I'm so sorry, I wish there was something I could do/say that would make you feel better.

How are things going now - is your DS home from the hospital? Sorry if you dont want to post on this thread, but just thought I would ask how things were going for you now.
