Hi L2L Have just emailed you.
But just to let you know, I am only free on Mondays and Tuesday as other days I am working or college.

What time is good for you/MTMML/Network?

The toodler's group is good for Tuesday (spacious with lunch at a magnificant cost of ONE POUND), or we could let the kids run around the library for a bit.

Let me know what you think.

MunchedTooManyMarsLady · 11/03/2005 16:30

As long as I can be home for 3 then any time is good for me.

love2laugh · 11/03/2005 21:21

Tuesday 10.30/11 sound good to you Tiger, Mars and Net? Where would you like to meet? I'm gona enjoy taking some timeout - by the way, do any of you go to Playstation in Wood Green?

crouchingtigeress · 12/03/2005 01:13

No I haven't. Is that in the shopping centre? That sounds like a good place to meet.

MunchedTooManyMarsLady · 12/03/2005 10:00

I hate the playstation with a passion. Having said that I'm sure it's fine in term time during the day. My only real experience of it is for parties. Happy to meet there.

crouchingtigeress · 12/03/2005 10:39

Just to confirm: Tuesday 11am Playstation Woodgreen.

BTW I have no idea where the Playstation is. Is it on Station road?

MunchedTooManyMarsLady · 12/03/2005 10:44

Yeah, it's between the station and Ally Pally. You go away from Wood Green towards Ally Pally. It's closer to Wood Green High Street. hth

franch · 12/03/2005 11:37

Hi all, Zinger here (changed my name to keep my pg quiet in the first few weeks but it's all official now )

crouchingtigress, how do you get to Wood Green from N2? I'm in N1 and it looks like it would be really quick by tube but about an hour by bus - I never get the tube with DD as there's no lift at Highbury. I'd love to meet you all so if I don't make it on Tue let's sort something out soon!

crouchingtigeress · 12/03/2005 13:34

Thanks MTMML

Hi Franch
I'm very close to the A406 so I get the 232 straight there.

N1 (that's islington isn't it) is slightly more arkward. Have just done a search on \link{http://www.journeyplanner.tfl.gov.uk}

You get a 19 from Angel to Finsbury Park then a 29 to Wood Green - Playstation is 3mins from bustop (Wood Green Station) Whole journey 1hr

Train journey is 30mins, but as you know even more arkward.

Hope you can make it.

MunchedTooManyMarsLady · 12/03/2005 16:54

At Finsbury Park walk through to otherside of station and get a W3, much quicker and stops outside Playstation

love2laugh · 12/03/2005 17:48

Everything sounds good for the meet up then! I do agree with you Mars about Playstation - it really is a nightmare at weekends and I have to say I'd never eat there! But for the kids safety and fun it is good, and for us to relax slightly !!(no hard floors etc.) Maybe we could get a snack after...?

love2laugh · 12/03/2005 18:00

By the way Tiger - you can't miss the Playstation - it's a bright blue building on the left down Station Road

MunchedTooManyMarsLady · 12/03/2005 19:00

This is sounding good

franch · 12/03/2005 19:14

Hmmm, whichever way I do it by bus it looks like an hour. Could get the overground to Hornsey (if I can get the pushchair down to the platforms) which would cut down the overall journey time quite a bit but involves a 20-min walk at the other end .... May depend on the weather and how intrepid I'm feeling

MunchedTooManyMarsLady · 12/03/2005 19:15

If you go to Hornsey Station you can get the 41 to Turnpike Lane and then any bus going up the high road.

franch · 12/03/2005 19:23

Oh Mars you're so adventurous with your 1,001 babies! I've only got one buggy and am a total wimp - train & 2 buses sounds utterly overwhelming to me in my queasy pg state

MunchedTooManyMarsLady · 12/03/2005 19:27
MunchedTooManyMarsLady · 12/03/2005 19:27

If you walk to Priory Road then you only need to get the 144 bus and that's only one bus

franch · 12/03/2005 19:28

Ah, that's better mars, just pass the smelling salts will you?

MunchedTooManyMarsLady · 12/03/2005 19:29
franch · 12/03/2005 19:31

Mars you're a veritable journeyplanner all on your own. Where the heck is priory rd??? (Don't worry, I'll look it up )

MunchedTooManyMarsLady · 12/03/2005 19:38

I can't remember which side the station is so it's either left or right outside the station then walk straight. Of course if you take the 41 you can always walk straight up the high road and turn left. About a 7 min walk, though in your delicate condition maybe 15mins

heymissytoe · 14/03/2005 16:23

Franch? or Zinger? Anyway is that you? - I purchased your morning sickness books if that is you? Congratulations to you - how was the morning sickness this time? Is this your second baby? I am nosey

boo hoo I missed the meet up and don't live in NW / will we do the science museum again? Been back at work the last couple of weeks (only part time) but forgot all about this.

franch · 14/03/2005 19:24

Hi heymissy yes it's me (franch/Zinger ) - I'm afraid the pregnancy sickness was equally awful 2nd time round and has lasted even longer I actually resigned myself to it this time and didn't really try any self-help, although when it persisted I began to wish I had!

Don't think I'll make it tomorrow, just finding everything a bit too much effort atm - but will keep my eye out for any future meets - and if anyone fancies getting together in the Islington area I'll be there

crouchingtigeress · 15/03/2005 00:12

Sorry mums
Won't be able to make it tmrrw. Thought I would finish assignment today, but haven't. Tmrrw is last possible day as I have work rest of week.

Hope to meet with you another time.
