Poshpaws · 29/03/2005 10:54

Hi all. I've not been MN for a bit but am now back. If and when there is a adult meetup, I would like to tag along. Much prefer to go out without my little man (and also minus bump). so keep posted

franch · 29/03/2005 14:08

Poshpaws how do you go out minus bump? Please tell me your secret as I'd love to leave mine at home

gella - got your email and will reply shortly. Let us know if you'd like us to shift the time at all to make it easier for you - if that's OK with you Mars Otherwise I hope to see you both a week on Wed.

Anyone else joining us?

MunchedTooManyMarsLady · 29/03/2005 14:09

I'm easy like Sunday morning

Poshpaws · 29/03/2005 14:12

franch.

I obviously meant once bump has been born (by end May hopefully), although I know what you mean about removing it....think my poor aching back would appreciate that!

How far along are you?

franch · 29/03/2005 14:21

Sorry for being facetious Posh I'm only 4 months - not even halfway yet and my back's already packed in! Due early Sept. DD is 14m and a pretty hefty non-walker, which doesn't help.

Embee · 31/03/2005 12:36

Would love to meet up but am at work Mon - thurs. Off on maternity come end of May so hope we can arrange something then.

Yes am really looking forward to getting rid of bump too. Starting to get lots of wierd aches and pains and looking like I'm ready to pop any day now.

network · 01/04/2005 13:07

Hi Embee

hows things?

gella · 04/04/2005 20:18

is the meet still on? if yes can we make it a bit later because i forgot that i have to help out at my DD's nursery and that doesn't finish until 11.45am so 12.30 will be good.

Let me know.

RTMTMML · 04/04/2005 21:24

fine with me

franch · 05/04/2005 07:50

DD usually goes to sleep at 1pm ..... could stretch it a bit, Mars maybe we could meet about 12, then I could get some lunch down DD so that she can go to sleep as soon as I get her back? Then gella you could join us at 12.30? I think the latest I could head off home is about 1/1.30.

RTMTMML · 05/04/2005 08:13

Sounds ok to me. I need to be back before 3 as the DTs need to be in their pram so that they can have their sleep (which always happens at the time of the school run). If you want to meet a little earlier then fine as well. Let me know

franch · 05/04/2005 15:09

OK Mars, shall we say 11.30 then? That way I can overlap with gella. Sound OK to you gella?

franch · 05/04/2005 19:34

Just confirming - I'll be there 11.30 tomorrow. May not be back on PC before then so text me if any changes. Looking forward to meeting you both

RTMTMML · 06/04/2005 01:41

see you in the am.

franch · 06/04/2005 08:15

Mars don't forget your photos

RTMTMML · 06/04/2005 09:11

OOh blimey. Better look for some! See you later.

Embee · 06/04/2005 13:03

Hi Network
All is good this end thanks. A little bit hectic.
We are going to Italy this weekend and work is crazy. And bump is just rediculously huge.

Will be in touch when we get back.

How about you?

network · 06/04/2005 13:53

have a good trip

gella · 06/04/2005 15:40

Sorry guys, franch hope you got my message. We'll have to arrange another meet.

RTMTMML · 06/04/2005 17:00

Hi gella, we got the message. We had a lovely time and will be meeting again soon (hopefully). Franch's DD is absolutely gorgeous. DT1 enjoyed meeting them, DT2 slept until we were practically home. He rarely sleeps that long but he woke up incredibly happy so he clearly needed it.

C'mon the rest of you, let's meet up. That was my first MN meet up and it was great. So freaky to be on route to meet someone that I have never met before, but so worth it.

franch · 06/04/2005 18:48

Thanks for the message gella. We were sorry to miss you but we did indeed have a lovely time and Mars's DTs are incredibly cute - including the one who slept throughout! DD refused to follow his example and has been wired all afternoon - thankfully DH is now home to take over. Phew.

I'm away next week but up for another meet anytime after that - the more the merrier so looking forward to meeting more of you soon

yogamama · 15/04/2005 21:30

Anyone in the Richmond borough/Hounslow borough area fancy getting together? North London is a bit far for me. I have a DD of nearly 8 months

Embee · 19/04/2005 12:14

I'm in the Ealing area - not far from Richmond. Would be happy to meet - Syon Park or somewhere.

Kelly1978 · 19/04/2005 12:21

I'd love to go to a meet up with children (can't easily get away from mine ) I'm in Croydon, if there is anyone else more south London based, or I should be able to get to most places fairly central.
