hi kelly, how you holding up?

Kelly1978 · 19/04/2005 12:23

Hi marslady - we're doing pretty good atm thanks. The babies are settling now, a lot easier to look after and I'm getting more sleep! I just hope it lasts!

MarsLady · 19/04/2005 12:25

are you getting any help?

Kelly1978 · 19/04/2005 12:28

I've got some people cooking emals for me this week, as dp is on lates, and doesn't get home til nearly 9pm. So I don't have to start cooking that late. It also means that he is home in the mornigns so he can take dd to school or look after the other 3 so I go. He has been really good at letting me get breaks from the twins, as it is pretty full on while he is at work. I had a lovely shopping spree on sunday all by myself.

MarsLady · 19/04/2005 12:35

fantastic! Hope you manage to get the school runs sorted for when he's on earlys. Gotta go need to get out of the cleaner's way and DT2 is now covered in yoghurt. Am keeping an eye out for your posts. If you need anything then CAT me, whether you want someone to chat to about daft things with the DTs or whatever.

Hi Embee,

I'm new to the board. Would love to meet up with you sometime (after baby maybe?!). Syon Park would be great.

Embee · 20/04/2005 08:24

Yogamama are you expecting too? If so when?

yingers74 · 20/04/2005 09:11

sorry have been rubbish at checking this thread. Am pregnant and m/s has got the better of me. Hope everyone is well and will look in again when I have the energy to travel outside my borough!

tamula · 20/04/2005 12:33

Does anyone based in East or North London fancy meeting up? I am 30 yrs old and my babe is 2wks 1 day!!

franch · 20/04/2005 14:01

Oh yingers, congratulations!!! When are you due? Please drop by the Due Sept board sometime if you haven't already, to let everyone know your good news.

tamula - congratulations to you too! MarsLady & I met in Islington recently with our 3 (all 15 months) and agreed we'd love to do it again with some more mums from this board. Is N1 convenient for you?

Embee · 20/04/2005 14:58

Tamula
Welcome and congrats on your new baby.

Network and I met and the science museum. That was really nice - we also said we'd do it again.

tamula · 20/04/2005 18:04

Hi Everyone,

N1 suits me just fine.

Science Museum is also an old nanny stomping ground, suits me too.

tamula · 20/04/2005 18:06

oops, a momentary lapse in manners!! thanks for all your congratulations for my baby (Ava)!! and well done Yingers

franch · 20/04/2005 18:42

Great! Mars, you up for another N1 meet? gella? Anyone else?

yogamama · 20/04/2005 20:56

Hi Embee,

No, I'm not pregnant but you are right?! Sorry, I'm not on the board all the time. let me know if you'd like to meet up sometime!

network · 21/04/2005 13:11

Hi Embee

Hows the family and the pregnancy?

MarsLady · 21/04/2005 13:21

absolutely. When and where? Hopefully they'll both be awake this time

gella · 22/04/2005 09:47

Hi guys
I'm up for a meet. Can it be a thursday or friday morning?.

franch · 22/04/2005 13:38

Fri AM sounds good (29th). Just rang Brown's who said they open at 11am normally (I think it was just a one-off when we went Mars), so we could meet there again?? Thu is also possible for me, but Fri is better

Thanks for your cheery message today Mars

MarsLady · 23/04/2005 10:41

Fridays aren't good for me as I go to lunch with a bunch of girlies. Brown's was lovely though. The staff are so friendly. So I probably won't make this one, unless my normal Friday is cancelled (sorry don't mean to make you feel 2nd best girls). I'm a total creature of habit. I do think that we should aim for an evening, childfree meetup.

franch · 23/04/2005 11:32

OK, well I could do Thurs AM, and can also do most evenings

Poshpaws · 23/04/2005 11:59

Hi ladies. Have been away for a while (congrats Yingers on your pg), but thought I'd pop in.

Still pregnant and bored of it now (3 weeks to go), but will be happy to have a with child/child-free meetup after baby is born, so shall keep an eye on this thread.

Would prefer a more central location than N1 as I live in SM, so not great for travelling with 2 kids!!

franch · 04/05/2005 17:47

Mars has just reminded me we've arranged to meet up on Wed next week (11th) - probably Brown's in Islington again - anyone fancy joining us?

And we still need to arrange an evening
