so tomorrow (or today) is off? That's quite good as I'm away this weekend and could do with getting a few things done.

love2laugh · 15/03/2005 14:26

You lot are useless !!
It was supposed to be today at 11am and I rushed to get there and guess what?.... You lot weren't there !!
Anyway myself and DD2 had a fantastic time !! So if we manage to meet up you owe me a coffee!!

crouchingtigeress · 15/03/2005 15:44

OH NOOOOOOOO, I'm soooooooo sorry. Darn college work always leave it to last minute. Coffees definitely on me next time round. I'll throw in an extra large muffin as well.

MunchedTooManyMarsLady · 15/03/2005 16:33

I left you a message Love2laugh. You're right, we owe you a coffee! Bad girls. Sorry!

love2laugh · 15/03/2005 22:07

Just realized that you posted your messages in the early hours of the morning! When I saw 12 thought you posted at lunchtime today! Anyway I was all tucked up at those times, though I have stayed up for over 2 days solid to finish uni assignments before !! Proplus and coffee ! Anyway if I can order a blueberry muffin that'd be great !

MunchedTooManyMarsLady · 15/03/2005 22:09

I had hoped that you would log on in the am and see the message. Sorry sweetie. Let's meet up after Easter (would hate to scare you with the sheer volume of kids that I have). I promise that I will cancel everything else. I so need to go to bed. I've had too much white wine and DH is away on a conference so I have to do the school run. [grimace]

love2laugh · 16/03/2005 09:54

No worries Mars ! Are you away over Easter? Because my DD1 (9 yrs) would love to meet your clan! Plus over Easter she may have her friend staying with us for a few days.. Anyway if we have some mild weather like at the moment we could all do an outdoor activity - Highgate Woods maybe? Tiger, Network - howz about it? So let me know what you think Mars...(she's seriously been nagging me..)

MunchedTooManyMarsLady · 16/03/2005 12:09

CAT me love2laugh. I also have a 9yo DD1. Highgate woods would be a great thing to do, especially as the weather seems to be quite nice at the moment. Let's get something arranged. We're not away. Haven't even given it any real thought.

MunchedTooManyMarsLady · 16/03/2005 12:14

I've CATed you!

network · 22/03/2005 13:50

Hi again

Are we going to attempt another meet up?

MunchedTooManyMarsLady · 22/03/2005 16:55

I think that we should. After Easter?

network · 23/03/2005 13:21

gella · 28/03/2005 10:39

Hi all
Ive just discovered this thread, i live in crouch end and i'm black,dp is white. Our dd is nearly
3yrs old.
I'm up for meeting other mums with mix race kids.
when is the next meet ?

franch · 28/03/2005 10:51

Hi gella, I'm in Islington and, pathetically, never quite seem to be able to get my act together to get to meet-ups outside N1, even though I only have one DD (though I am also pg, but only 4 months ). If you or anyone else feels like coming in this direction I'd love to meet you .......

gella · 28/03/2005 10:56

Hi franch
I drive, so i could meet anytime. How old is your dd?

franch · 28/03/2005 10:58

14 months. Next week might be good?

gella · 28/03/2005 11:04

Next week is good but not thursday or friday because she goes to pre school in the afternoon.

franch · 28/03/2005 13:02

Wednesday morning maybe? Anyone else fancy joining us? Brown's on Islington Green might be a good bet?

MunchedTooManyMarsLady · 28/03/2005 13:12

Where's Browns? Which bus? I can get a 43 if that goes nearby. What time? Questions, questions, questions

franch · 28/03/2005 19:14

Ooh Mars, definitely time we met! Brown's is just off Upper Street, on Islington Green. Do you know the Slug & Lettuce? Turn the corner there and Brown's is on your left, between a cocktail bar and Waterstone's. Yes you can get the 43. What time in the morning is good for you? 10.30? Later? Wed 6th April then, if that's good with gella too?

MunchedTooManyMarsLady · 28/03/2005 19:19

10.30 sounds good to me. I'll drop the big kids off, grab a coffee with my bf and then hop a bus to see you. Browns sounds like it should be an adult drinking place. If we get on (lol) we should arrange an adults only get together. (Any excuse to leave the clan with DH)

franch · 28/03/2005 19:30

Adults only sounds good to me too Mars

Browns details here. Best place for buggy-space in the area. Just rang them to check they're open at that time of day - no answer so don't let me forget to try again before next Wed.

Mars, I'll email you my mobile # in case you need to contact me on the day. You should be able to spot DD but I'll give you details of what I look like too - gella and anyone else who's coming, please CAT me and I'll do the same

MunchedTooManyMarsLady · 28/03/2005 19:48

received and replied hun!
