Hi everyone...

I just wanted to write and gloat with everyone on just how exceptionally beautiful multicultural / mixed children are!!!!

dd is 6 months... she is 1/4 vietnamese, 1/4 Amercian, 1/4 socttish and the rest is english, irish, spanish and morrocan.

Mummy may be biased, but she thinks dd is the most beautiful thing... asian shaped eyes... but big like mine... they are slate grey/blue with flecks of brown in the middle and shes got light brown hair...

for more gloating satisfaction pls see. www.mymane.net (see album Felicity Grace Robinson)

thought would be nice to see lots of other pics and stories of other families... to sort of celebrate our moggy family (did think of calling her Mog... but then, I do want dd to have SOME friends at school!!!

Aloha and Lucy99 thanks for understanding that I did not mean it in a bad way, I realise I will have to word things very carefully in the future. Was trying to be positive and I got so upset to be taken the wrong way. Love to all the babies!!!

Looks beautiful to me

... and to me. Jennylee, glad you are still around despite the earlier nastiness on this thread. It was shocking to read.

Just seen the album and agree that Felicity is gorgeous.

uh, not checked on this thread for a while. am quite shocked at the way it has been misinterpreted. I was just on a maternal rant... i am by no means seriously suggesting that mixed race babies are superior -fgs, what!!
i just thought that dd is really unusual because of her traits she has got from us both. as i think it is intersting to see the mix of two people (regardless of race) in their baby.
ALL babies are beautiful. I was never trying to suggest that any other babies are not!!!! (why would i insult myself????)

  • i have no doubt that some people might yet choose to misinterpret my points. even now.

I am British, my dp is 1/2 vietnamese... 1/2 american. um, i may be bias, but i think she's beautiful, though am sure that it part of my job description.

this thread was just intended as a bit of random chat... not to invite suggestions of racism?? - surely if i was racist i would not have had a mixed race child???? i have found that suggestion very upsetting to be honest.

i agree maybe the title of the thread was misleading, i apologise if i gave anyone the wrong idea or if i offended anyone.

I thought she was absolutely yummy kate, and think Felicity is a very pretty name. Was one considered for my daughter.

hmm ,also now realise why everyone was shocked by putting album link on website. somewhat naive on my part (to say the least!)
i would have just put a picture but not sure how to do that on here.

oh well.

as for the name, good think she's a girl. - had soooo many arguments on boys names!!! lol!
