Hi everyone...

I just wanted to write and gloat with everyone on just how exceptionally beautiful multicultural / mixed children are!!!!

dd is 6 months... she is 1/4 vietnamese, 1/4 Amercian, 1/4 socttish and the rest is english, irish, spanish and morrocan.

Mummy may be biased, but she thinks dd is the most beautiful thing... asian shaped eyes... but big like mine... they are slate grey/blue with flecks of brown in the middle and shes got light brown hair...

thought would be nice to see lots of other pics and stories of other families... to sort of celebrate our moggy family (did think of calling her Mog... but then, I do want dd to have SOME friends at school!!!

sorry - but unless we've suddenly got an 'edit' function on here (yeah right )) I can't see anywhere in the OP that says that multicultural/mixed race children are "better"

Infact I think this sentence

Says quite clearly that she's biased, because her children are mixedraced and (like every other mum in the world) thinks her DD is the most beautiful baby out there.

but yes must admit that posting your entire photo album - especially including full names - is a bit !

I interprit that sentence not her children specifically, (which would be fine cos each of us is convinced our own kids are exceptionally beautiful) but as saying mixed race children generally are more visually pleasing than other children. I think that's why people have challenged this idea!

I think using the phrase 'Hybrid vigour' regarding people is deeply worrying. That infers that different ethnic groups are like different 'breeds' in animals or 'Strains' in animals. The term is used when people are breeding for trains in animals and plants. I don't think it has any place in an discussion about something and precious and a human child.

New people to this thread stop flogging a dead horse all explanations have been made stop looking for ugliness where it is not present stop keeping it going and if you don't like it and can;t understand the explanations about intent and so forth and how you are all taking it the wrong way against all explanation, well there is nothing more that can be said. I mean the new 'points' you are making were done to death the other night - read it and see!!!!

I totlaly agree that if someone had posted 'White kids are just the best' the thread wouldn't have been allowed to remain on the board for 5 minute

I have explained it too death and there was still misunderstanding, people are still choosing to disregard the explanation, and are still taking it the wrong way and ignoring the explanation just to get annoyed about something
