Nothing is so hard you can't somehow get through...well it is but it is done through sometimes time and also just going on..very hard and friends can help a bit but only you can do it but ..can I help?

Jt - sorry you are having a rough. Don't be hard on yourself for shouting at your kids . By the evening I end up shouting at them sometimes and you are still trying to get your head round what has happened .I think it takes a long while for it all to sink in because it is such a huge shock that our minds can only cope with survival for a while iykwim If you are feeling up to it get out of the house today with the dc .
It is a shame you have to wait so long for counselling, can you speak to them on the phone in the meantime? Or can your gp get you counselling ? Hoping you have a better day

hi just read this thread. I really do feel for you. I know what your going through. Im 19 with a 2 and a half year old a one and a half year old and im 34 weeks pregnant. I have been sexually abused twice. once when i was 14 and another when i was 17. both 4m x partners. Im going to be honest with you. I now still find it hard to talk about it and therefore try to keep it bottled up not a good idea as it makes you depressed so if you can talk about it thats great also i still get scared to go out now even in daylight. both guys who did it to me got away with it so i live with seeing them in the street - one lives just down the road 4m me. I can say you will never get over this completely but it will get better sorry if i sound blunt but im just being honest.
