Hi
I found a credit card entry for £88.94 on hubby's statement. Instead of a shop/company name it simply states "2907fe91-66a2-47bb-9f7"

Any ideas.

Why are people assuming she’s questioning this because she doesn’t trust him? You’re meant to go through your statements to check for scams/unexpected transactions. She’s asking because she couldn’t tell what this was so it could have been suspicious from a fraud perspective, not a DH perspective.

He's presented her with an invoice though. It was his statement, and he was sure of what the payment was, and has the paperwork. If he'd have said 'Oh, I'm not sure what that is, it must have been when I bought some tyres', that's very different, but he had the paperwork. He told her something he was sure of. She didn't believe him. He had to provide paperwork.

I need tires and have been directed here 👀

Has OP’s husband been riding you?

If I was married to OP I’d be buying super-fast bike tyres.

Notwhatyouwanttohear · 01/03/2024 09:20

Very strange women.

Goes through his credit card statements and questions his spending.

He gives her an answer and isn't bothered about so called "fraud".

Op is not happy so he shows her an invoice.

She still doesn't believe him so comes on here to try and find out but doesn't like it when people call out her behaviour.

Feel sorry for her husband

TheBayLady · 01/03/2024 09:46

Don't know why you think it is strange that he has bought tyres from Italy, cycling is huge in Italy. My DH bought motorcycle tyres from Germany last week and that is not the first time.

TheThreeCheesesOfTheApocalypse44 · 01/03/2024 10:11

It's not that unusual to buy bike stuff from Europe, hell my poor brother searched half the world and finally found the part he needed when he rang our little bike shop in a small town in Cumbria (( that place is an Alladdins cave, yes, yes they will have a random crank from a bike last produced a millenia ago ))

Your poor husband tho, I hope he gets out 😬

Is he riding an Italian?

Ha!

C1N1C · 01/03/2024 10:21

People here offered opinions but you've failed to answer whether he actually has in his possession tyres from Italy. It's that simple.

HectorPlasm · 01/03/2024 10:27

We should all tread carefully so we don't get shouted at

Tread ..

Oh never mind

Italian rubbers

LTBastardo

😂

updownleftrightstart · 01/03/2024 10:31

There are some good bike tyres brands that are Italian and £88.94 seems about the right price.
What other things were you thinking it could have been if not tyres?

Maybe he paid by bank transfer rather than using his card.

pontipinemum · 01/03/2024 10:34

I had a credit card payment before that I didn't recognise. I called my bank and they told me where the transaction took place. I was able to remember it then. But it looked weird on the statement.

Call the bank but if he thinks he knows what the transaction is and it matches up to when/ how much he spent on tyres it probably is fine

Dartwarbler · 01/03/2024 10:36

gamerchick · 29/02/2024 21:25

Why are you checking his credit card statement so intensely?

🤯eh?
they’re married…a lot of married people have joint finances and that includes having a credit card each but they then jointly review and assess seeds, saves etc together

it’s not in least bit unusual…

ParrotPirouette · 01/03/2024 10:36

I know what that code it, it is a webform code used by a company called GOSS who host websites for councils.
It will be a receipt for a payment to the local authority for a garden bin, parking fine, maybe even council tax or a licence.

CKL987 · 01/03/2024 10:58

Call the credit card company and ask. I once had transactions that just had a postcode local to mine on it. Turned out to be McDonalds when I called the cc company. Lots of my transaction references are meaningless to me.

Well obviously he’s cheating. With an Italian woman. LTB.

An inflatable rubber Italian woman.

CarrotOfPeace · 01/03/2024 11:16

Does he have new tyres?

notagainski · 01/03/2024 11:51

Zapss · 01/03/2024 11:07

An inflatable rubber Italian woman.

Yeah that's what I was thinking.
Or a sex worker. Maybe Italian, maybe not.

This made coffee come down my nose !!

CharlotteBog · 01/03/2024 11:58

If you check your statement quite soon after a transaction it can sometimes look strange, then a day or so later it catches up with itself and displays the actual vendor (or whatever).

laclochette · 01/03/2024 12:05

Are you worried about credit card fraud, or your husband being up to no good?!

Rosscameasdoody · 01/03/2024 12:09

Zapss · 01/03/2024 11:07

An inflatable rubber Italian woman.

But to ride that that he’d need an Italian bicycle pump, not tyres.🚴🏻

Caro marito di OP. Fuggire. Scappa velocemente. Tua moglie è una donna pazza.

P.s. vediamoci dietro il capannone delle biciclette. Ho le gomme…

Dear husband of OP. Run away. Run away quickly. Your wife is a crazy woman.

P.s. Let's meet behind the bike shed. I have tires………
