Found odd entry on credit card statement

I found a credit card entry for £88.94 on hubby's statement. Instead of a shop/company name it simply states "2907fe91-66a2-47bb-9f7"

Any ideas.

He had tyres from Italy or he doesn't? Only you can answer that...

Ask him to show you the account history or the email receipt of where he bought it from if you don't believe him.

But if he's being truthful I doubt he'd be happy about his word not being enough. It's not like anyone gets to choose what name a transaction comes under.

Your OP wasn't at all clear as to what you were worried about - credit card fraud, or your husband lying to you, or something else entirely. It seems now you think your husband might be hiding something. Is that it? Do you have other reasons to suspect he's being dishonest?

I am reliably informed by dh that you’d pay about that for two bike tyres. You’d usually be able to buy them from Wiggle or Chain Reaction though, you wouldn’t really need to order them from the manufacturer yourself.

I always check the bank statements and would question dh if there was strange transaction. Checking for scams etc.

She questioned. He answered and isn’t concerned. Now the OP is checking again as she clearly doesn’t trust him.

Did he buy the tyres or not?

International transactions often look like that when they come through. We get them at work fairly often, but since it is usually me who's made them, I know who they are and what the payment was for.

If you regularly go through your credit card like this, he’s surely not up to no good is he?? If he paid for a lap dance / only fans subscription (or whatever else you think he’s up to) he’d use a card you’re not aware of.

As an aside, this would drive me nuts. I’m not having anyone going through my finances.
