@PleaseGoDontGoAgain how long did it take for you to hear from them?
I applied a few days ago and I've got the 'thank you for taking the assessment. If we need your skills...blah blah'
I'm assuming I didn't pass?

Can I just share something? Do you remember when we used to do our grand totals at the end of every month? I fondly remember those days when we'd hit something like £2000 a month (or thereabouts). Feels like such a long time ago! 😅I have had such a crap time with it for like two years now, making the odd pound here and there, but my January total was around £700. And that's me only working like two weeks of it properly. It was mostly down to DA but Prolific was very very good too. I'm delighted, and motivated to keep going.

Hope everyone else had a good month, and hopefully February will be a decent one too! 🤓

Yes!!! I used to earn £2k per month off crisp alone.

I gave up 12 months ago as it became DIRE!

I had that message for long enough I gave up and then got an email. I think they send out qualifications and tasks in batches, on Reddit some wait months, weeks days.
I know one of the Slack channels has gone up by thousands the last week so they are ploughing through more applications than before.

ZetaPuppis · 27/02/2024 10:06

@PleaseGoDontGoAgain I'm so gutted as I got the pass message yay and then I did 2 questions on the test and it crashed. Now I've got the 'we'll email you if you pass'
Of course, I won't pass with only those 2 questions and there's no one to connect Sad

@pastypirate Which Steps apps? I looked at a couple but some dont pay out in money (only credit, or charity coins etc)

@WhatYouWearing - what's amazon Vine? (Off to google!)

I have cash walk - got 2 £5 vouchers from them already, Weward and Macadam. Last two are £15 vouchers so takes months to accrue.

Also doing biscuit which is £10 every couple of months dog walking. We are up to £40 on that one I think.

planningforthefuture · 28/02/2024 15:04

Is anyone on project C*e ?

Got invited to do the quiz but there's also an academy and I don't want ro waste hours if there's no work.

Same for Z**e - is there work?

I dis the quiz for W*c** but there's hardly any work 😪

Re: Z. Qualification was pretty easy and quick (ignore page numbers, it's mainly images) I don't bother wasting time on them nowadays, got burned in the past with that.

According to chat, the project has not started yet apparently but some people seem to have had 20mins of work.

Fire9636 · 28/02/2024 20:49

Does anyone do respondent?? I have applied for 3 but they seem to take ages to respond on whether you’ve actually got on. Got my prolific up to £30 for the week today though which is good going. I reckon I’m averaging more like £5 a day at the minute but very little helps

ciderhouserules · 01/03/2024 12:44

@pastypirate Thanks for that, I've jsut downloaded cashwalk. It's a bit annoying in that it fights my lock-screen, and gives loads of Ads (but i suppose that's where they get the money) but I can live with that.

One of the Ads is for a Bar-code shopping scanner - I didn't notice the name of the app, but anyone use them?

TheManWhosDeprivedFromTheDecentKillingOfAThing · 02/03/2024 04:54

Yeah, making £10 a day is a tough one, making more money depends on saving up, like if you get $60 (I don't know what this is in pounds) you keep it.

miffymum90 · 02/03/2024 17:37

Data Annotation - anyone else on here? Does it have projects 24/7 as mine just seem to be available in the evening. Would love to work on this in the daytime or weekends. Thanks!

SpareL · 03/03/2024 09:41

Does anyone know if you left crisp a long time ago if you can re-apply?

I always have projects available, but there are times when it's slim pickings. Keep an eye out for qualifications.

I wouldn’t bother. Honestly.

PleaseGoDontGoAgain · 23/02/2024 10:43

Anyone want a referral to data annotation inbox me. I get a tenner every hundred you earn, but there seems to some hearsay you get onboarded quicker and get the ability to make more referrals so you then earn of it too.
It is precarious, I've earnt hundreds in a week but the subs and reviews are full of people who get sacked with no explanation. It's not just chat bots, there's coding and maths projects as as well. Referrals not needed but available

Hi @PleaseGoDontGoAgain if you're still able to refer can you send me one please? thanks

rhij86 · 04/03/2024 11:46

Thought I'd poke my head above the parapet, not been on here in a lonnnng time.

Making any extra is dire at the moment. Barely dong enough on potato to stay active. I too remember where we'd regularly earn over the 1k mark.

Does anyone still do appen? is it worth me logging in to see what's available?

YonderTweek · 04/03/2024 14:25

I still do A**r on Ap and it's been very hit and miss recently. I don't think I'm on this month but I'm not that fussed really. I keep getting emails about new projects and check the chats etc and they never really seem to materialise so I've not bothered...

February totals though! I find it hard to keep track of earnings on DA, but I think I earned around £800, and I was on holiday for a week, so I think it's been pretty awesome. 😃Prolific has been pretty good too, but I've not had time to hang around there because I'm always on DA now. My hand hurts. Lol. I'm hoping to stick to DA for now, and really crossing my fingers they won't kick me out and that projects keep on coming.

ZetaPuppis · 04/03/2024 15:04

I'm still gutted about my data annotation test crashing. There's no way I can redo.

I've been getting some emails about jobs from Neevo if anyone is still with them.

ruralwanderer · 04/03/2024 15:56

@YonderTweek how many hours roughly did you do on Data Annotation to earn £800? Thanks Smile

That’s incredible @YonderTweek ! Well done! I need to have a look into DA this evening I think, someone mentioned they do referrals, is this right?

All my projects are $20-£24.50 per hour which works out at £15-£19 per hour after heafty paypal conversion fees.

ruralwanderer · 04/03/2024 19:44

Fab, thank you ☺

ruralwanderer · 05/03/2024 07:00

Well, I applied for DA last night and have got the "If we need your skills" page. Guessing I didn't pass which is frustrating as the assessment page was so damn glitchy that what should have been very simple took an hour. I was waiting up to 5 minutes each time I typed to see my text appear, and then edits took an age and twice the screen went totally blank for a few minutes.

The money seems lucrative but unless they suddenly and surprisingly offer me lots of well paid work, I think I'll stick with SS Smile

YonderTweek · 05/03/2024 10:46

Sounds about right @MrsWombat. 😄I haven't gone crazy with it yet and I only do around 2-3 hours a day and not every day, but it's a great earner. I did Potato last year and I would have to spend all day to earn what I now earn in an hour. It's nuts! I hope everyone gets on DA because it's brilliant. I'm properly worrying about when it's going to end, because all good things always do. Haha.
