April was a funny one for me as I was fairly inactive at the beginning of the month due to having surgery but i ploughed on with potato to make my minimum number, which I hit and then some. I was also offered the better paid shift work towards the end of the month, so really looking forward to seeing what I can make with a full month of this! Grin
Managed more than usual on Prolific too, so not bad considering.

Had the Am email this morning too - 5 items. Will get started on those shortly. Hoping for something good this month 🙏🏼

Thanks for the new thread. Loving the name

OldTinHat · 03/05/2022 06:16

Thanks for the kick up the rear! I keep watching these threads, make a start and then tail off.

May May be the month I may actually get my act together! 🙄😆

AnotherOne4 · 03/05/2022 08:06

Thanks for the new thread @LolaMontezz April was pretty rubbish for me. Still waiting for the golden project to come along, as I've not had one this year yet.

I just got invited to do the spelling one on Appen, but the guidelines don't load 🙄

lookthisway · 03/05/2022 08:08

place marking

LolaMontezz · 03/05/2022 08:46

I've pretty much given up hope with App'n currently. I'm only on Am'r which I've just done and it's all a load of shite again 😩😂 I might just not bother with it next time if I get picked, but I always think that and then find my curiosity getting the better of me 😬🫣

Earnings are in for April -
£75 tide offer
£176.05 sign up offers
£10 airtime rewards
£5 Amazon voucher for survey
£10 Amazon voucher from snoop sign ups
£4.70 Quidco
£20 sainsburys voucher for completing a study (popped up on my Facebook feed!)
£84.05 Vinted

Total - £384.80 - not too bad!

Off to a good start for may so far too! Smile

Lifeisforalimitedperiodonly · 03/05/2022 15:08

I need to join in more this month too. I've dropped Crisp after several years but I am done with sitting there for hours with little content.

I've just got 3 on Am*r too and they are okay this month. Appen just seems like a load of effort for very little sometimes!

Keep meaning to look into matched betting.

R2G · 03/05/2022 15:23

I have got in a habit of doing an hour a day survey on this site, just an hour while watching something on telly, waiting at dentist etc. I'm making usually 3 pounds a day, 60 pounds a month. If you want to use this link you get 40p to start off with. Not seen anyone mention it yet.

I'm inviting you to join AttaPoll. Get paid to take surveys. Download the app here: attapoll.app/join/skawm

RiverSkater · 03/05/2022 15:47

I keep getting Appen emails about urgent Hitapps ( I have no active Appen work aside for the surveys) so I clicked on one and was lead to a dashboard were you could do additional work, some required a training task. I did one which required me to pay attention which I didn't and failed I assume as once I'd finished the training it disappeared. 😬

I thought I'd flag and see if anybody else had seen this?

MrsWombat · 03/05/2022 20:22

April was the best month in a long while.

Print on demand/printables (etsy, merch by amazon, amazon kdp, teachers pay teachers) £138
uTest £178.51
Crisp £30 (barely scrapped the minimum this month)

Got a really annoying but well paying uTest test case I'm doing currently.
Got a few hours of overtime at the day job.
The local secondary school is advertising for exam vigulators too. I'm know I should do it, and have the right background but not firing up the energy to fill out the long winded form. I emailed them to ask if they would consider someone who had a very part time job elsewhere, and they said yes so I don't have that excuse either!

ruralwanderer · 03/05/2022 21:24

Thanks for the new thread. April was a good month for me (just over £317) and I'm aiming for £400 this month which should be achievable through a mixture of Search Sciences, Crisp and exam invigilating with a bit of Prolific, Appen and Intellizoom thrown in for good measure.

N0va · 03/05/2022 21:44

@R2G thanks for posting about AttaPoll! Tried to sign up via your link but must have signed up ages ago! Made £3.17 in about an hour tonight!

Shirleyjust · 03/05/2022 22:07

@MrsWombat , How do you make money by print on demand? Is this stuff you've written yourself?

It's designs I've created myself using software and clip art from places like creative fabrica. The books are puzzle books (I have software that creates them) and notebooks which are easy ish to make as they are just plain lines.

Great! It's. Just great to have the bit extra there, like my mop broke. I don't buy anything now til I've made it in the survey then convert to amazon voucher and buy

What's search sciences? Never heard of that one

Redcrayons · 04/05/2022 08:39

Just over £100 for April. I had a busy RL month, so it fell by the wayside a bit. Only just scraped the minimum on Crisp (again).

£250 is my target this month. Crisp, Rev, Prolific being the main ones. I had a pretty rubbish month with Qmee, I seemed to get screened out more often than not. I haven’t signed up to Attapoll so I’m going to give that a go this month.

Is it Amur day today? Anyone on it this month.

TheFoldOx · 04/05/2022 12:02

@Redcrayons I've all but given up on Qmee. It was never a big earner, but like you I seem to be screened out even more. In fact I can't remember the last survey I managed to complete.

ruralwanderer · 04/05/2022 14:28

@peabrainer, this is the link: www.searchsciences.co.uk/index.asp

It's writing web content for a variety of organisations. Really interesting and unlike a lot of the other web-based work, has a real "team" feel to it. I only started in March after applying nearly 2 years ago but am really enjoying it. It made up the bulk of my income last month and I've been working on tasks for them all day today while the kids are at school. I'd hugely recommend them.

Rural, do you have to be an experienced writer to work for them? I like writing but have never done any "professional" writing - do you have any ideas where I could start with some basic stuff? I do have a good knowledge of certain subjects.

ruralwanderer · 04/05/2022 17:02

No, I'm certainly not a professional writer and they seem happy with what I'm producing :) There is a link on their site to apply to write for them - it may take a while to hear back but if you do, I'm sure you'll enjoy the work.

evtheria · 04/05/2022 17:37

Checking in for May, thank you for new thread!

Made over £250 in April (variety of things), I'd like to hit that again this month.
