I'm pretty sure once you earn more than £1000 in a tax year then you need to declare it.

I'm other news, I'm not getting email notifications when this thread's updated, even though I've set it up in my settings. Is anyone else having trouble?

HelpDecisionmaking · 15/05/2022 19:54

Is anyone else having issues with A**r reimbursements? Ap claim that they have paid me but my Payoneer is empty. Sad

Hi all, many apologies if this question has been asked before! I'm just wondering if the money you make each month has to be declared as self employed earnings? The reason I ask is I have a full time job but am interested in the possibility of making extra money to supplement my earnings to assist with the cost of living increase.

I do a self assessment for all this stuff. I keep all my earnings in a monthly spreadsheet, I don’t have a lot of costs (I bought a new monitor last year) so it doesn’t take long to do.

tigerlilymochalatte · 16/05/2022 10:58

I also have a Chase current account code for your free £20 if you want to pm me x

tigerlilymochalatte · 16/05/2022 11:01

Not sure if it has been mentioned but if you have anything to buy on amazon, they have a free £6 when you top up £50 offer.
I paid for a bunch of things with the free credit on my chase account and got the free £6 too!

Yes I had an email saying my A$$r reimbursement would be in my account by 13th May at the latest and have received nothing -it was a significant amount too. I have contacted them and received a standard fobbed off reply. Some of my items have not arrived so those reimbursements will be massively delayed too as you now cant be reimbursed for an item until you have left your review. Probably wont risk Amur in the future now they've changed the rules regarding reimbursements......

£5 Amazon voucher for signing up to snoop and leaving bank account linked for 28 days

Hi there. Take a look at Snoop - this new app I’ve found that I think can save you money! click.snoop.app/M2Tu/6z3pw0cd

N0va · 17/05/2022 08:42

Is anyone on Amazon shopper panel? I downloaded the app and it let me join the waitlist, I was accepted after 2 weeks which I was pleased about! I believe it's £5 a month for uploading 10 receipts and they offer surveys for additional Amazon vouchers. Looks good so far!

N0va · 17/05/2022 08:44

I also have a referral for £15 spend via zilch (Amazon vouchers or a next order seem popular and not forgetting Uber eats, just eat and deliveroo). No minimum spend. PM me for my link if you want it Smile

Dixon98 · 17/05/2022 12:46

I put this on a another post but didn't realise it was here, I have a few chase codes left for £20 pm for the details

animalcrossingfan2021 · 17/05/2022 19:12

I still have some Chase referrals left if anyone still needs one. Pm me 😀

evtheria · 17/05/2022 23:14

@N0va I'm on it! It's so easy, I'm praying it never ends 😂 I want to save up all my vouchers and use them on tech or Christmas.

DisgracefulDolly · 17/05/2022 23:54

Thanks for the info. I have successfully set up a business account with Tide using the FREE75 code and made a deposit. Cheers to you!

How did you manage to also apply for the £75 Ubereats voucher? From what I read, you could only get this offer if you link to a business bank account elsewhere, ie not the new Tide one.

Did you use another business account to get the offer? Even though you have set up a new Tide account?

If so, will they accept just an ordinary current account that is used for a self employed business? I don’t have a specific business account for my self employment, I just have a number 2 account with NatWest that I use for business transactions. Just wondering if I could link to that account or does it have to be a specific business one?

So many questions! Sorry! I am only just getting back into ‘money making’ after a two year break so I am little bit rusty!

PS I have also set up an online bank account with Chase U.K. for a free £20 using a link on another thread on Money Matters. Check it out! The £20 reward was instant as soon as I made my deposit. Really chuffed!

Those of you that have business bank accounts - tide are offering £75 Uber eats voucher for using their cash flow insights

www.tide.co/features/cashflow-insights/

They also offer £75 for signing up to a business bank (usually added first week of the month) using code FREE75 and deposit £1 within 30 days.

I did the £75 and received payment beginning of April and have just done the Uber eats £76

My messages above were meant for you, @N0va . I am just getting the hang of this quote thing. So sorry for messing up the thread!

Buster27 · 12/05/2022 12:42

Fell off the thread again Blush

@RiverSkater sorry I never got back to you on the previous thread, I do indeed do the shifts on Crisp.

I didn't have time for much in April other than keeping my hand in at Crisp, £50 from Vinted (which I'm still really liking) and very small amounts from Appen and Prolific. Finished the month around £330.

Expecting to get kicked off my App project (Y.k.n) as I only did half an hour over the whole month Blush just not got the time at the moment - or the motivation as I prefer the shifts on Crisp and they work better for me. Aim for this month is to just to increase my Crisp hours a bit, and if I get the headspace I might try giving Y.k.n another shot before I get booted!

On a positive note I managed to get the reimbursement sorted for the am** item that originally got rejected. It wasn't an expensive one but would have annoyed me if I didn't get reimbursed!

I am just wondering how you get on on Vinted?

I have been selling clothes, household items, costume jewellery, and collectibles on eBay for years. It would be good to branch out elsewhere for another stream of income.

Do you find it was easy as EBay to list? Do things sell as quickly on Vinted?

Any hints, tips, or advice you can provide will be gratefully received.

My teenage son has listed some branded clothing on Depop but has not made a sale yet. The items have only been up for two weeks but he is feeling a bit demotivated by it. He already has a five star rating as a Depop customer but has not got any feedback from sales yet. Again, does anyone have any advice re selling clothes on Depop?

As a seasoned ebayer, if you were to choose, would you pick Vinted or Depop?

Thank you in advance for any advice. I really need to branch out from eBay but don’t want to list a load of stuff only to make zero sales IUSWIM.

DisgracefulDolly · 18/05/2022 00:50

I also have a referral code to get £20 free by signing up and depositing £20 to the Chase Online Baking App. Please PM me for the link. You will also get your own Free £20 link to share with others.

I used @Dixon98 Chase £20 code from a separate thread and can confirm it definitely works. I also shared my referral code on that thread but I am now worried because several people on here have said that we must not share it.

Is it just this referral link / code that we are not allowed to share here or is it all money codes of this nature that are not allowed anymore?

Apologies for so many basic questions. I was a regular on these threads over two years ago but I lost my mojo when coronavirus started. I am eager to get back into it. I am so impressed that so many of you have stuck at it all this time. Hats off to you!

N0va · 18/05/2022 03:48

@evtheria message me if you want the referral for zilch for £15 and we can do that one Smile my intentions are always to save Amazon vouchers but somehow they get spent and various amounts of chocolate arrive
