@ZetaPuppis, I still do LB Maps, well not much. Done about half an hour so far this month as I have been concentrating on other work. I am amazed they haven't booted me off as I average about an hour a month these days. I got a bit demotivated with some of the 30 second tasks that I always felt took far longer.
I do Y*n on Appen until they give me the boot which I keep convincing myself they will at some point, so didn't want to give up on LB in case I need to start ramping it up with them. Been doing At**s on Appen too this month which is decent. It's over for now but the work is nice and easy.

ZetaPuppis · 24/05/2022 16:21

@Catatemyhomework lol your post made me laugh as that's me too. Every week I think that I should make the most of it and earn some extra money but I find it so dull. Sometimes I get on to other work and it's much better.
I was hoping to get inspired Grin

ZetaPuppis · 24/05/2022 16:41

I meant other work through the same site. It's so subjective as well and getting things 'wrong' demotivates me.

Catatemyhomework · 24/05/2022 17:04

@ZetaPuppis, Lol! I really can't get in to it either. Been on a year now and I never do more than about 2 hours a month maximum. How I've stayed on I'm amazed! I'm sure min requirement was 10 a week but they don't seem to enforce it! Y*n on Appen do enforce it so I always do that first. I haven't had any other work with them apart from that. I did get an email once about voice recordings but I didn't follow it up. My in box is full of emails from them and I'm never sure what I'm meant to do with them. So many logins and updates. I can't keep track of it and that demotivates me as well. Sorry I couldn't be more of a motivational force! Grin

DisgracefulDolly · 24/05/2022 17:54

@Buster27 Thank you for the info re Vinted. Very much appreciated. I will take a better look into it.

Hey, want to join me at Chase UK? We'll both get £20 when you join and pay in £20. Get started: link.go.chase/emNK/refer?code=rn3y7diu. T&Cs apply.

anyone after a chase referral? I think today is the last day. As long as you deposit £20 you get £20 extra paid instantly!

here’s my referral code; rn3y7diu

N0va · 24/05/2022 19:19

@Daisychain789 I don't think today is the last day for Chase referral.

N0va · 24/05/2022 19:19

@Daisychain789 I don't think today is the last day for Chase referral.

I saw something on social media about the 24th may. Apologies if wrong!

N0va · 24/05/2022 20:23

@Daisychain789 it's currently up to 7 days to be approved so unlikely they will be ending it so quickly. They have the right to withdraw the offer whenever but currently has no end date - people often say ending so that people are more likely to use their link in case they miss out!

8DPWoah · 24/05/2022 20:51

Lost this bloomin' thread again! Just wanted to say thanks to @ruralwanderer for the recommend of Search Sci as I too have signed up for them and it is filling the Y* shaped gap in my workflow nicely 😂 not sure how well I'm doing yet but enjoying it so far.

BecauseOfIndia · 25/05/2022 08:31

@8DPWoah That's interesting, I've just started working for SS as well I'm but struggling to find it worth while, I'm hoping it will get better. How long have you been doing it?

8dpwoah · 25/05/2022 08:55

@BecauseOfIndia only a couple of weeks! I definitely wouldn't be making a living off it but it fits really well around the other bits and bobs of work that I do that in turn fit round my two little girls. I've got two longer articles to do this week and they're fairly close to what's in my profile so maybe tweak yours and see if that sends any more your way? As I say I'm super-new to it and not really sure myself!

BecauseOfIndia · 25/05/2022 09:08

@8DPWoah Good to know you're getting longer articles! I've only been getting really short pieces that are fiddly and pay virtually nothing so I've been debating whether to continue or not. All my income comes from a variety of different freelance jobs so I hate feeling like I've wasted my time.

Only been doing it for a week though so I'm probably being impatient! I think I have just about every subject known to man in my profile so hopefully something more interesting will come my way soon. I've decided to give it a month and see how things are with it. Don't want to put anyone else off applying though!!

stillherenow · 25/05/2022 15:00

I've started on SS as well and am a bit unsure whether to continue as the pay is so low, getting lots of tiny pieces that take too long to do - I can earn more on prolific per minute worked. Will see !

stillherenow · 25/05/2022 15:01

@BecauseOfIndia I suspect we're getting the same project work - it's driving me a bit mad!

BecauseOfIndia · 25/05/2022 16:29

I suspect we are! I'm going slighty mad too... they are taking me ages!!

The FREE £20 share for signing up with the 'Shares' app expires tomorrow, Friday 27 May! Join today Thursday 26 May if you haven't already.

The free share reward reduces to just £5 after 27 May so now is the time to sign up to get the free £20 or you will miss out. (Thank you to the person who shared their referral link last week...I have received my free £20 share. It is invested in Tesla and has gone up in price Grin)

You need to open my referral link on a mobile phone then follow the app instructions:

https://shares.app.link/rf/dollyd-1844800_
Join me on Shares and get £20 to invest in stocks! Use my referral link to get set up. Capital at risk.

My referral code dollyd-184480 should be pre-filled when you follow the above link but, if not, just copy and paste it.

Once your account has been set up, you need to deposit £1. Mine took a few days to go through so don't worry if it doesn't show straight away.

You then get a free £20 share, which I chose to invest in Tesla (they ask you to pick from a list of well known companies to invest in when you sign up).

After 30 days, you can leave your share to carry on making money, if the value is rising. Or, you can sell it and, once sold, you can withdraw the value of it plus your £1 deposit back.

Sounds a bit complicated but it isn't once you get going. Just ask if you get stuck. But...be quick!

Free £75 cash reward when you apply for a CAPITAL ON TAP credit card and make your first purchase with it

If you are self employed, a sole trader, or a small business, you can apply for a Capital On Tap Visa Credit Card.

Once your account is set up, you need to deposit £1 and wait for your card to arrive. Once your card is activated, you just need to use it to make one purchase (I added it to ApplePay and then used it to buy a few bits and bobs on eBay worth £18). After making your first transaction with the card, you will be instantly credited with a £75 cash reward.

Screenshots of to show my £75 reward paid into my account tonight after using the card on eBay. Just waiting for it to clear. I only applied for the account on 19 May so quite a quick turn around for a big reward.

BTW, I am self employed and I don't have a business bank account. I just use a NatWest current account for my self employed earnings. Capital on Tap were very happy to accept this account. It was really easy to set up. Any questions, please just ask.

I use the Capital on Tap business credit card and think you should too! Sign up through this link account.capitalontap.com/apps/apply/?promo=2REFD217Z93 and get £75 when you make your first transaction on your card!

DisgracefulDolly · 26/05/2022 03:38

@N0va - would the above referral link to Capital On Tap be any good for you?

I joined the Tide business bank from one of your posts so this one might be useful to you as it is also aimed at self employed, sole traders, and small business owners.

I can confirm that, after depositing just £1, the Capital card arrived a few days later. I have since made a small online purchase with it, and the £75 cash bonus is now pending in my account (see screenshots above).

I hope you can benefit from the free £75!

PS I STILL cannot get Tide to link to my another bank account in order to get the £75 Uber Eats voucher! I have been on chat, phone etc and nothing will work. It connects to my bank, it looks like it has all gone through, then it comes back unaccepted. I'll keep trying but the Universe might be telling me that Uber Eats is not for me 😀

@Daisychain789 I don't think today is the last day for Chase referral.

Not sure if the comment above linked to you and gave you an alert. Did it? Hope so as seems ideal for you from last convos.

Excuse my cluelessness, everything has changed on MN since I was last on a few years ago.

Soulfullofsunshine · 26/05/2022 13:36

Can anyone give me some tips for Lionbridge, I can never see any jobs? What am I doing wrong?

N0va · 27/05/2022 09:28

£20 or £30 for signing up to Monese bank! I did a £1 Amazon voucher to trigger the bonus being added.

Sign up to banking app Monese via a referral link and code and receive £20 when you order and use the physical card for the first time, and an additional £10 once you have spent £500 on the card.
Please only use a link if you intend to actually sign up, as if you start but don't complete the process the referral is used up and someone else could miss out. You will need to have photo ID to sign up.
Note: the card technically costs £4.95 to order if you sign up to the free plan, but you can get round this by signing up to the £1.95 essential plan, order the card, and then downgrade to the free account once your card has arrived and BEFORE you add money to the account.
To trigger the £20 bonus you need to make a
transaction of £1 or more using the physical card (the virtual card doesn't count). If you spend £500 or more( doesn't have to be all at once) you will earn another £10.
Even without the signup bonus Monese is a good account to have in the background as they regularly have offers where you can buy a selection of gift cards for popular UK retailers and supermarkets at 20% discount.

There is 8 referrals left! I will update if they run out.
Join Monese and get up to £30 once you start spending! Just enter my invite code when you sign up: KEAA869

@DisgracefulDolly thanks for the link! I'll have a look but am trying to avoid applying for credit currently!

YetAnotherRainyDay · 27/05/2022 13:08

Does anyone have a new (not near the referral limit) Chase link, please?

JLbaby · 27/05/2022 14:14

@YetAnotherRainyDay mine is:
