Welcome to the March thread everyone.

The idea of the thread is to earn a bit of extra cash. There are a few ways to do this. I'm sure some of our regulars can add to this. But here's some ideas.

I'm sure I've forgotten loads. If you want to look over previous months, there are loads of pervious threads in this section.

All UK sites this time around, I got a record, make-up, coat (for me), an overpriced jigsaw puzzle, pet food (I do have a pet), top and a clock. Two skips as food delivery (shame they don't count).

Most looked pretty safe sites, we shall see!

I'm saving my Am** purchasing for later when DH is at work and I can concentrate. I'm definitely up for the swap shop, as I am growing an ever more ecclectic collection of items.

Please could someone remind me if we have to wait for the bonus for reimbursement to show on the invoice before submitting or is it added later? I have the piece work showing for the project. I think it is added later from memory, but I need more coffee and don't want to mess it up.

Also, a long given-up-on item from December is finally en route. Once I've welcomed the little lost item, I guess I will have to send a ticket to ask them to reopen it on my feed as it's long since been marked not received.

Haven't purchased my Am items yet. Haven't got the reimbursement for last month's yet and the invoice needs to be submitted today. I don't remember it being this ast minute previously?

You submit with the piece work showing then the reimbursement is added later. So if you're happy it is right you can submit today.

Oh thanks @bookgirl1982 I've done it every month and do not remember that at all.

Anyone's surveys showing up properly now on their Appen invoice?
I only started doing them last week (after about a month of near-daily emails inviting me to do them, what a waste of potential earnings that was - idiot!!)
Two of the surveys are showing on there now (5 entries total) but the one that can only be done once a week isn't showing. I didn't think to keep a note of reference numbers etc so think chasing it will be a pretty pointless waste of time.

Is anyone else waiting for the once-weekly survey to appear on their invoice (for last week specifically) or shall I just submit now and take the loss?

Also I've been invited to do the test for P*llock - is it worth my time?

@rhij86, I have been taking screenshots of the survey reference numbers for evidence but I must admit when raising a ticket RE non payment, I never send these in and have never been asked. I tend to raise a ticket to say I haven't been paid for previous week and they send generic email saying it will get sorted. In my experience so far of doing the surveys, it usually does get sorted in the end although you sometimes need to chase initially.

I couldn't do the pllk test as it's timer out. Couldn't log in yesterday which caused the delay. Am gutted. Not in mood to start Ar purchases yet

Lucky month for me with Am: 7 purchases; 1 skip; spent $450 but 5 are from UK with good returns policies. Could get around $375 back without too much hassle but will probably keep some of the items.

Also pleased to see some of the surveys I had given up on finally added to my App invoice.

@Catatemyhomework thanks - how long does it usually take to sort? Just thinking the invoice deadline for submission is tomorrow I think? Shall I chase now or just take the loss of approx 2 dollars and keep a close on it going forward?

@rhij86 When that's happened to me, if it's something they should have added but get round it too late, they have added it to the next month's invoice.

Can anyone get into their prolific? I can't get into mine. Making me panick now as I have just over £200 in there

Rad2016 - sounds like I've just had the same panic attack as you! I shut everything down, restarted and still couldn't get on
Just tried again though, and it works

@rhij86 pol definitely worth it but you do have to be consistent at 85% quality, I got kicked off for having 83% but definitely potential for a brilliant earning. I thought it was too hard at first as was over thinking the time stamps

@blowonitthen thanks - I'll just submit then, and they can add it to next month. TBH I'm not faffing around for less than £2 but I'll keep a close eye on it going forward.

@rhij86, I would just submit your invoice for now. You could ping them a quick ticket and submit tomorrow if still not on there. I think we have until tomorrow for invoice submission. I'm holding out until tomorrow as I have something missing too.

Purchasing finished here too. The most hideous jeans ever are on their way to me. Thank you for returns! Most I've ever spent but I got something I'd been after for ages but couldn't afford. Happy days.

Hi everyone, completely new to this and have just applied for Appen. I now have to choose one or more projects to qualify for. Could anyone recommend some straightforward projects to get me going, and how many should I choose ? Any help much appreciated

I'm doing my purchases now and have got an advert for a takeaway 70 miles away. There's no actual delivery information so I've sent a message but does anyone know if I can skip it just by quoting the distance?

Been watching this thread from afar and nervous to get involved but taking the plunge now and going for it!
