Welcome to the March thread everyone.

The idea of the thread is to earn a bit of extra cash. There are a few ways to do this. I'm sure some of our regulars can add to this. But here's some ideas.

Hi all, £812 for me in Feb. Managed to fit that around the kids and work, so I'm happy.

Earnings made mostly on Crisp, UTest and UserTesting. I'm pleased I stuck it out with the UTest Academy, that's turning out to be a good earner.

Thanks to everyone on this thread for all the advice and tips.

I was on App* social where someone is saying that if you are on Chrome, "you can click the little lock symbol next to the left of the address on the url bar, select cookies, and delete them, that will only delete cookies for app*". Just tried and it seems to have worked here so I can quit going incognito. 🕶

Hi, I'm new to all this. Today is literally day 1.

Just spent an age on Prolific, answering all of their specific "information about me" section - hundred of questions.
Got as far as scanning in my ID etc to be cut off immediately saying access denied, delete your account here.
I'm just me, a very regular Joe. I don't have a cut and dried work role though, some of the work questions were hard to answer 100% accurately because they're multiple choice, so maybe an answer I gave contradicted another.

Bit miffed to have been cut off at the first hurdle with no explanation if I'm honest, will they let me reapply?

@seizethecuttlefish just noticed it says on news & updates that B* will be added to invoices by the 2nd.

@kooked I haven't heard of anyone being rejected from Prolific before it's a long time since I registered so I can't really remember the process unfortunately.

I think about 700 last month, maybe a bit more. My Appen invoice is missing B and surveys, and I never checked the potato dashboard the last few days so I don't have a clue what my final amount was!

Not much to report here. I've had a bit of a rubbish time since December but have made a little bit here and there. I did quite a bit for LB in December and was paid a couple of hundred quid this month, which makes Feb look a bit better for me. Haha. I've been told there should be more work in my usual project soon, so I'm crossing my fingers for more monies soon...

For some reason my mobile won't let me access Mumsnet properly so I only check this thread when I'm on my laptop, which isn't actually that often because I have no work. Lol. Hope you're all doing well and enjoying the start of spring!

I am a regular but name changed.

I left Crisp last month as it was not worth the hassle of constant surveillance and worry. I made about £500 from my Appen job last month but I expect that to end in April.

Another £50 or so from Clickworker and Prolific.

February was my lowest earning month since I started about a year ago, only made £203 and almost all of that was Appen. My best month was December at £505.

I really need to try and get some work from other places as I've been on Ni** for nearly a year now so expect I'll be taken off that soon, and bang goes that regular income.

@Foxtrotalpha thanks! I'm going to stick with Crisp right now as it's my only regular thing at the moment but will see what else I can get in the coming months!

Ahhh I was just being impatient and checked my Facebook so see if Amur was loaded yet (as it is usually the day before) but I have no products loaded in there. Hoping it's just because I'm being impatient rather than I'm not on it this time.

I made about £600 for feb which isn't as high as I wanted but nothing to complain about.

Anyone who has done Am*r could you please tell me where is the ‘did not receive’ option in the review tool. The guidance refers to it but I can’t find it!

Appen peeps - I've been doing the FB survery jobs, and only some have automatically been invoiced. I know alot of you have problems with these.
What do you recommend? Submit the invoice as it is? Or query it?

@Tinging I think if you go into the product there is a slider at the top which changes the questionnaire to the one you need once enough time has elapsed

@Foxtrotalpha do you mind me asking what you mean about constant surveillance on crisp? I never hear from them and would like feedback sometimes.

Wow some of these figures are amazing, really inspiring! I've had my highest earning month so far in Feb - about 250 from Appen if the invoice goes through plus approx 200 from matched betting.

Need to get a few different streams coming in as it all adds up. Am keeping Prolific open while I work and looked at KDP a while ago but never got round to it... think I will make cracking on with that my target this month.

Hi guys, this is all totally new to me but am interested, debts are taking over! Don't really understand a lot of this, do you need particular skills/background for this stuff?

@bookgirl1982 thanks for that. I've had a look on the chat and someone else has the same question which has been answered. The guidance says mark it as not received one week after the expected date but apparently the option doesn't appear until two weeks after the expected date, helpful!

@AdaShelby they don't give feedback unless you do something wrong so you're obviously doing great - keep going! :-)

@Jiggy16 have a look at the links in page 1 - theres a whole range of stuff that as long as you can use a computer you get involved in (surveys, moderation etc). If you've got decent typing skills theres a raft of audio transcription sites. If you're a techie you might like the IT testing sites. Some jobs can have a longer wait to get selected into but are worth the wait for the more consistent pay.

I found the amount of information overwhelming at first so started by picking out a handful of sites that I saw regularly mentioned on here then reading the info on each website and applying to everything they offered.

At first I found it difficult to stay motivated as I only had dribs and drabs coming in, but it all starts building up and coming together over time.

@AnotherOne4 - yes the surveys seem hit or miss on the invoicing. You have to query it, send them a list of what's missing plus dates and session IDs. From what I can gather on the chat, if you don't query it, it does not automatically sort itself out.

Checking in. Name changed but have been on the threads for a few months now. Wanted to recommend Qmee as it has been really good for me. I am earning about £45 per month from it and it is so easy to just bash out a couple of surveys whilst watching TV. I'm getting quicker at potato but wonder how people get regular shifts? Are we invited to them?
