@Loughrigg

Roughly £10-11 an hour on Appen, so roughly 10 hours a week to make 400 in a month - however work is not always available. Crisp is less than that maybe £6-8 an hour unless there is a lot of content and you are very quick. There is content (online moderation) but sometimes only at unsocial hours.

You can work it around a full time job (I have done so for over a year) it's casual so you choose when to work. But it depends what else you have on and of course you pay tax via Self Employment if you already work full time.

JKRforPM · 13/10/2020 14:34

Hi everyone hope you don’t mind me joining, I lost my (part time) job in March and have been foolishly running up debts, so need to stop spending and start making money.

Because of my family situation I need one of the magic “school hours term time only”, jobs which I have yet to find another so I’m looking at ways to boost my income from home working, any advice or links welcome!

Loughrigg77 · 13/10/2020 15:35

Thanks Wolfff, that's helpful Smile

lannister · 14/10/2020 07:12

@Loughrigg77 I think if you were to get into a project like N**e you can achieve that. Although am new to it so not sure if you can do it everyday or just 5 days a week. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable will clarify

lannister · 14/10/2020 07:14

Has anyone had to open a business account to separate this income or is using my normal bank account ok?

Wolfff · 14/10/2020 07:32

You can use your normal account.

Wolfff · 14/10/2020 07:34

For the first long term Appen project I did you had to do 5 days a week x 1 hour but could do 7. The current project I'm on is at least 10 hours per week but up to 20, occasionally more.

MrsWombat · 14/10/2020 07:45

@JKRforPM Welcome! Look up the Dave Ramsey Method for sorting out debt. There are a few UK facebook groups on the subject.

Prolific and Clickerworker are great for a bit of pin money for now. Lots of posters have also had success with Neevo.

Crisp Thinking, Appen and uTest are my favourites.

shazza292022 · 14/10/2020 08:58

Hi ladies, I just did my 1st intellizoom survey and it says it can take 21 days to get the money.. What are they like as payers does anyone know? Thank you in advance

littlegem84 · 14/10/2020 09:35

@shazza292022 hi! Hey normally take the full 21 days but they are great at paying.

dirtyfries · 14/10/2020 09:52

Does anyone work r*ttle? I was added to production at the start of the work but there hasn't been any work available. Is this normal? I thought it would be more consistent, especially as their expecting 10 hours a week

dirtyfries · 14/10/2020 10:03

*start of the week

TheLolaMontez · 14/10/2020 10:30

Hi everyone,

I've been quiet here recently, I am struggling to balance two babies and working at the moment, feels like there aren't enough hours in the day most of the time.

I have been plodding along with N*le on App' - going well and been paid a couple of times which is great! Also grabbing prolific surveys where I can. My login has been deactivated from cloud workers, I've not been active on there for some time so I'm hardly surprised and not too heartbroken over it.

Doing ok with potato, again, it's just trying to fit everything in. I try to do App' during morning nap time for the youngest Montez and Potato at night time, if I'm not completely exhausted by then.

I have now been selected for Am*r on App' - is anyone else on this project?

Wolfff · 14/10/2020 10:58

Intellizoom is always reliable but I think the pay date is working days after you do the survey. So 21 days is about a month.

whysotriggered · 14/10/2020 11:46

@TheLolaMontez I've also been selected for the same project and just completed the exam. I know others on here have done it but there is part of me that worries it's a scam, not App but the sellers.

I'm hoping to get Potato for Christmas!!!

And well done for getting anything done with two little ones. I barely managed to get dressed most days Grin

TheLolaMontez · 14/10/2020 11:57

@whysotriggered ahh well done, I've passed the exam this morning too. Do you know what we do next? Do we have to wait for an email or do we start straight away?

From what I gather there are a few sellers to choose from? And I think you get reimbursed regardless so you shouldn't lose any money but I couldn't say for certain as obviously not worked it yet.

seizethecuttlefish · 14/10/2020 12:17

@shazza292022 intellizoom are good. Straight into your PayPal. Never had an issue.

whysotriggered · 14/10/2020 12:21

@TheLolaMontez I'm assuming we wait for an email as normally it takes a bit of time for them to set you up on the tool etc. Also I'm hoping to use this project to cover some Xmas gifts 😁 so wouldn't mind some thinking time.

Wheelyyyy · 14/10/2020 12:28

@seize
Whats intellizoom?

TheLolaMontez · 14/10/2020 12:32

I bc was thinking the same @whysotriggered - would be great for Christmas

Ilovefood1 · 14/10/2020 13:16

Hi @TheLolaMontez and @whysotriggered, I also passed the exam today and have access to the tool as I have just read the guidelines and watched the instruction videos.
However, I'm a bit confused as it mentions that the reimbursement forms need to be sent in TODAY, but that means there's not enough time to buy the products and provide feedback!
I am going to email but came on here first in case anyone can help :)

TheLolaMontez · 14/10/2020 13:18

@Ilovefood1 I thought that too but then wondered if we are being added to a new intake? So that is the old one and a new one is going to be uploaded with different dates

Ilovefood1 · 14/10/2020 13:24

@TheLolaMontez yeah that's what I'm thinking too. I wish they would make it clearer, I don't want to start buying anything to find out I've somehow done it wrong!

TheLolaMontez · 14/10/2020 13:25

I'm gonna wait @Ilovefood1 - I think we get an email with the link once they're ready for us to start

Ilovefood1 · 14/10/2020 13:28

@TheLolaMontez Oh that's alright then, thanks! I'm being too impatient lol
