@Tattiespuds RA updates about every 45-60 minutes. You should definitely see yesterday’s days earnings on there now.

Tattiespuds · 29/10/2020 14:33

@Redcrayons my RA hasnt synced up yet I only just joined. The email did say it can take up a further 7 working days to sync. Was just wondering for when it does update how long it takes. Good to know its quite quickly. Thanks

@margaritasbythesea

Can anyone help me with S**a on Appen. I have been accepted but never actually added to the tool. Now they have asked me to set up an SRT account but I xan't do it. They asked me to do it using a particular email address, which is not real but when I put it in they send an activation code to it, which obviously I can't get. I have sent tickets and looked in social but with no success.

Also finding Newh really glitchy. Sometimes I can reach it sometimes not. Anyone else.

I have the same problem with S. I just started getting emails and don't know what to do as I can't create my log ins. Time to send a ticket and see if it gets read!
Tattiespuds · 29/10/2020 15:13

@minnimiss or anyone else on appen did you do the test for Ra*e ? I've done the reading and practice test but can't find where to do the actual test. I'm probably being a bit silly but I've spent too long looking for it 😂

Tattiespuds · 29/10/2020 15:21

Nevermind I just found it. I knew as soon as I asked here I'd figure it out

peabrainer · 29/10/2020 16:00

@Tattiespuds I definitely took a few months to get quicker, now I reckon I can do £12 an hour though no idea how many items I do per hour. I'm a surge whore😂. Though I can only manage about 15 mins before my mind wanders and I start making mistakes. Did £35 yesterday with all the surges! But average is £10 a day. Have patience and you will get quicker

minnimiss · 29/10/2020 16:45

@Tattiespuds in the email paragraph with links to the training there is a another link to the client tool and you have to log in there to do it. But I tried today and found that the test wasn't giving me the correct answer options to select from so I have reported a technical error within the tool. I'm not sure if it will be the same for everyone

YonderTweek · 29/10/2020 16:45

@margaritasbythesea Have you checked your spam emails? I resent the activation code and it went into my spam inbox. I'm in the process of setting it all up but I'm confused as it's a lot of text to read and it's the afternoon. Blush

I need to review this project because if it's really time consuming I'd be hesitant to add to my workload anymore. I'm already on 4 hours a day, (although on and off).

Tattiespuds · 29/10/2020 17:19

@minnimiss I found it literally right after I sent that post. I must have kept skimming over it.
I'll give it a bash tonight but I'm not too hopeful. I felt one of the questions in the practice was wrong. I selected one answer told me I was wrong but then an in the explanation said that the tool didn't do whatever and in that example you'd pick the one I had. 🤔

@peabrainer thats good to know, I hope to be able to take advantage of surges during nap time and after bedtime. Do you know to you roughly all in how long you spent doing that £35, or even for the average £10. Just to give me an idea.
I'm doing to do it daily while I pick up speed. I was keeping a tally last night and in 25 mins (surge) I did 43 so getting faster already.

Buster27 · 29/10/2020 18:37

@peabrainer ha 'surge whore' made me laugh Grin

LimeJellyforBrains · 29/10/2020 19:00

I received the Am** invitation and am trying to do the exam, but when I click on the link for the training video, it takes me to the All Projects page. I am on my laptop, so it should work.

Did anyone else have this problem and find a workaround please?

Gatekeeper · 29/10/2020 19:10

@LimeJellyforBrains go to the academy

LimeJellyforBrains · 29/10/2020 19:13

Gah! Thanks @Gatekeeper ! That's my evening's entertainment then... Grin

Gatekeeper · 29/10/2020 19:18

some of the videos cut off part way through for me so hope you have better luck!

foggyfuzz · 29/10/2020 21:09

@UselessTrees

Fingers crossed for everybody waiting for A**r news. I've done it for the last three months so happy to answer questions about it.
@UselessTrees, I did the last round but have one outstanding from Australia (stuck in customs) I've been invited to the next round but haven't cleared this one from the tool, will it just stay on there until it eventually arrives? I don't want to lose a round because I'm still waiting iyswim - thanks for any advice in advance
margaritasbythesea · 29/10/2020 21:09

YonderTweek I sent a ticket 3 days ago but still nothing. Strange not to see anything on social. Good luck with yours.

UselessTrees · 29/10/2020 21:23

@foggyfuzz Yes, outstanding items will stay there and shouldn't affect participation in the November round. I think the general rule is that it might count you out of the December round if you haven't completed (or marked as not received) all the October items.

foggyfuzz · 29/10/2020 21:30

That's great, thank you @UselessTrees, I wanted to give it time as obviously post is taking longer, pretty frustrating as I wanted it all reviewed and completed for the next round - I don't even want the item! lol Enjoying the task though and impressed by the products, I thought it would be cheap dropshippers but I've had some excellent brand names

lilmishap · 29/10/2020 23:29

The uhrs find people and animals is eurgh

peabrainer · 30/10/2020 00:10

@Tattiespuds to answer your question re earning rates: on Mod2 if there is loads of content in the queues, so that a new item loads up as soon as I have finished each one, then I average £3.50 for 15 minutes (with no surges). I think I'm a fast reader though so this might be above average (?). I'm much slower on Monitoring. But at the beginning I was really slow and then made the mistake of trying to rush and got several wrong and was told off. So take it slow to start with and you will definitely build up speed. If the items are slow at loading, I don't bother staying on but try later in the day.

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 30/10/2020 06:50

@lilmishap I agree. I did a couple and couldn't really steel myself to do more! It made me think of all the intelligence bods during WW2 who did this type of thing as their day job (and probably still do).

lannister · 30/10/2020 07:44

@peabrainer woah that's pretty impressive. Have tried to be faster & like you got stuff wrong & told off so that scared me so I read slower now which means less money which is a bit frustrating

Buster27 · 30/10/2020 18:37

Anyone working on che* on appen? Just passed the test, seems similar to ec** (which I got accepted on ages ago but have never received access to the tool .. not sure if this will just be the same!).

Tattiespuds · 30/10/2020 18:59

Thanks for answering my questions. The dashboard has finally synced up, It's saying I have reviewed 70 items and earned an estimated £3.00 which i know isn't correct. I did well over 100 yesterday and probably more the day before. Can anyone remember from when you first joined did the dashboard take a few days from syncing to fully show everything? I know I'm not going to be up to speed just yet but I have done around 4-5 hrs work all in surely I haven't only earnt £3

furryous · 30/10/2020 19:49

@Tattiespuds don't forget you don't get paid for any you unsure. They won't let you raise a support ticket for a few days as it can take a while to catch up, but it's always accurate in the end Smile
