@loneranger1,
I tried Ysense through your referral, thank you! but I was screened out on all of them and it put me off continuing as I had wasted a considerable amount of time but I imagine a lot of it is down to demographics and I just didn't fit their criteria.
Sorry to hear that, hope it's been ok for someone, it has worked for me, as you say could be demographics.

Frenchdoors1 · 27/10/2020 20:14

@loneranger1,
Thank you!

YonderTweek · 28/10/2020 07:27

Ooh I just qualified for A**r. Grin I just passed the test but now can't see the project anywhere. Am I right in saying that it will turn up eventually or has something gone wrong already? Haha.

Rad2016 · 28/10/2020 07:39

I just qualified too. Still to do the test. How was it?

minnimiss · 28/10/2020 07:51

Yes I just passed the A** test top! But also can't see it. It's possible that all slots have been filled already but I'm hoping it will turn up!

TeddyDidIt · 28/10/2020 08:20

I just passed the A** test too! I watched the videos before taking the test but most of the questions are common sense.

YonderTweek · 28/10/2020 08:34

Oh yeah, lots of people in Social are saying it's disappeared from their projects. Sounds like it could be a glitch? Someone just said it happened to them a few months ago and then it came back, so fingers crossed. I even did the Academy videos for this because I'm a keen bean. Grin

AVL · 28/10/2020 11:53

I passed A* and came to check here as it disappeared. Fingers crossed for us all that it pops up.

Rad2016 · 28/10/2020 12:04

Same here. I qualified too but it's disappeared. Fingers crossed its not a waste of time

CocoPrivileges · 28/10/2020 12:32

Thanks so much to everyone on this board - have been lurking for a few weeks and getting great advice and encouragement!

@MarigoldMoonStone I also qualified for the F** Scotland project and got error messages when I tried to "work this". However I got an email out of the blue a few days ago saying "welcome to the team" and I was able to get started. This is my first real project on A so not sure how typical that is!

I also tried ySense and not had any luck with it unfortunately. It sounds great but I'm obviously not the demographic they're looking for!

YonderTweek · 28/10/2020 12:42

A* is back up I think. It does say that November is on hold though. We'll see what happens!

Buster27 · 28/10/2020 12:57

Lots of us new to a*! Fingers crossed we all get on the next round :)

loneranger1 · 28/10/2020 12:57

On the ysense, you do have a lot of failures but I have found it worth sticking at. At least the screenouts are at the beginning unlike some other sites.

Tattiespuds · 28/10/2020 13:51

Potato-ers can I ask how many items on average you are mod-ing in an hour? I was just reading the PPI info on Wiki and if I'm reading it correctly it states we should be aiming for 450ph . I'm finding I can't go anywhere near as fast as I did in the test as it all tree's with multiple questions per item. I don't fancy working on it for hours everyday only to earn £10.

MarigoldMoonStone · 28/10/2020 14:00

oh cool thanks @CocoPrivileges I won't give up hope just yet and will keep an eye on my emails

loneranger1 · 28/10/2020 14:06

Have finally took the plunge into matched betting. I am being very cautious and following instructions carefully.You do need some money to start with as you have to cover your bets. It has been very interesting and 2 days in I am £35 up.Still lots to learn but so far so good.Anyone has any questions just ask.

minnimiss · 28/10/2020 14:14

Is anyone on project Ra**le? I've been sent the qualification stuff through today but it looks complex! And I can't remember how many hours it was per week. I already have a couple of projects and I don't want to overcommit, however I'm aware that projects can come and go so it's good to have new ones starting.

emxx20 · 28/10/2020 14:31

Can someone tell me what this is please I'm 35 weeks today and am really struggling with money I'd like to make some

Tattiespuds · 28/10/2020 14:40

@minnimiss I too received the qualification email today. I haven't done it yet, but agree from the email it does look quite complex. I will be doing it this evening once the little ones are in bed. I want to say its a 20hr one but I have applied for a few so could be mistaken. But that said I have applied for a few longer ones so I don't think I'm far off if I'm wrong.

Tattiespuds · 28/10/2020 14:53

@emxx20 welcome and congratulations on your pending arrival. Have a look on the first page of this thread. It has all the links that people here use. Have a read through the first few pages of this thread and others titled the same but with a different month. This will give you an idea of what are the better money earners are as people usually list what they have earned and from where each month. Plus general chat with give you an idea of what they entail and how much time you'd need to spend.
I have been a long term lurker and had signed up to a few survey sites and appen but didn't stick with it. This last week after a wait of over a year I have joined Crisp and now more motivated to use that and appen to earn a few quid each month plus now checking in with the survey sites.
I'm keeping my eye on what posters are saying on matched betting and might give that a go in a month or two. Once you've read up a bit and have any questions about any site/s ask away the people on these threads are amazing and I've asked tons lately and they are all so helpful and encouraging.

emxx20 · 28/10/2020 14:58

@Tattiespuds thank you :))

laramacleopardprint · 28/10/2020 15:12

@CocoPrivileges I'm just looking at the Scottish one now, new to Ap. I can't get the audio clips to work?! Did you have to wait for a confirmation email? I'm in google chrome.

CocoPrivileges · 28/10/2020 16:15

@laramacleopardprint that's weird. I had a confirmation email from Ap on Monday saying welcome to the team for F** Scotland and confirming I would now have access to the platform. (I wasn't able to access it at all before that - I just got an error message when I tried).

Did you get the same email?

I'm also using Google Chrome and haven't had any problems hearing the clips.

Rad2016 · 28/10/2020 20:01

Anyone got the availability email for project A**r on Appen? Just got it now. Launch date is Monday, but it says on homepage November Launch on hold...Let's see what happens
