What's the best way to get money out of payoneer? Transfer to bank account or paypal?

LifeReWired · 17/10/2020 18:04

I've been lurking for a while but decided to de-lurk.

I have signed up to Ap**n today and have been accepted onto a project already. However, can I do more than one project at once?

I've been using prolific for a while and can make between 35-50 pounds a month, however, I need to increase this over the coming months (hence why I have signed up with Ap**n as well.

curdsandwhey · 17/10/2020 18:11

I don't understand how people are getting approved for Appen so quickly. I submitted my final documents six months ago and they still haven't approved them!

Anyone who likes Intellizoom, I recommend signing up for usertesting.com as well, in fact they pay slightly more and I get more tests from them. In generally I've been getting around 3 per month on Intellizoom, and about 7 per month on User Testing.

Prolific has been quieter than usual for me this month.

curdsandwhey · 17/10/2020 18:12

I would probably get more Intellizoom tests if I was awake at all hours. For some reason they keep emailing me at 5am, so by the time I've woken up the test is no longer available.

curdsandwhey · 17/10/2020 18:26

Does anyone have any tips for selling more on Ebay, or is it just that people have stopped spending? I've been on Ebay for years and I've never known it to be this quiet ever.

Yes, you can do as many as you're lucky enough to get onto. I'm currently on 3, though N I think is about to end, Ar for me hasn't started yet even though I've been told I'm on it and B*ler tends to put stuff on about 4am which by the time I see it at 7 has gone!
TheSeedsOfADream · 17/10/2020 18:28

@Wheelyyyy
Now I've really got some catching up to do as haven't done any for 3 days as I've had a gastric bug. GAH!

LifeReWired · 17/10/2020 18:45

Thank you for answering my question @TheSeedsOfADream

Good to know that I don't have to just pick one as I know very little about how the platform and process works.

@curdsandwhey I think prolific was quiet because most universities closed down all but essential research in March. It should pick up again now that they are open and operating again.

seizethecuttlefish · 17/10/2020 20:52

@curdsandwhey I'm having trouble shifting anything on eBay. A friend suggested switching to FB marketplace but I tried there last year and had no success. No idea if it's just people not buying.

SkittyKat · 17/10/2020 21:08

@curdsandwhey I am struggling with eBay too. It’s very very slow.

TheFishingTrip2019 · 17/10/2020 23:01

I am checking in again, i've lost track a little since March time.

I'd be really grateful if anyone is looking to sign up for any of the sites mentioned on the first page if you could use my links?

Buster27 · 17/10/2020 23:08

@LifeReWired yes you can do multiple Appen projects. Applying for everything you can and seeing what you get seems to be the best option!

@curdsandwhey oh that's disappointing about eBay. I haven't sold much recently but could really do with a clear out, but eBay sometimes isn't worth it at the best of times!

Tattiespuds · 18/10/2020 09:52

I applied to crisp about a year ago and just got the email to proceed. I've send my ID for verification and once that comes back i get access to their training then to do the assessment before getting to work. Anyone know what the assessment entails. I've been eagerly waiting to get started on this one so a bit anxious I will fail the assessment

Tattiespuds · 18/10/2020 10:12

Also if anyone can help. I did my first appen job a few weeks back and submitted it to be checked. I haven't heard anything back but I can't create an invoice for it. Under the project drop down there is nothing there?
Is it a case of when my work has been approved it will show on drop down. Never did an invoice before so unsure what to do.
Thanks

MrsWombat · 18/10/2020 10:12

@Tattiespuds Congratulations! The assessment is just similar questions to the original quiz but there will be training too. You have to do a certain number of questions within 30 mins which you should easily do. Someone on here said to do a tally as you do them so you know when you've done the minimum and can then relax, which was very useful for me. Good luck!

Tattiespuds · 18/10/2020 11:46

@MrsWombat thanks for replying. I can't remember the initial assessment with it being a year ago 😂 but hopefully will be easy enough with the training.

Tattiespuds · 18/10/2020 13:00

Can I ask more about appen?
I did a project but when I look at the project list it's there with the option to "work this".

I can't create an invoice for the work i did on the project.

There is three projects listed on the invoice tab under auto generated but can't click on them does this mean it's not recorded my work?

I'm new to this and very confused.

YonderTweek · 18/10/2020 13:23

@Tattiespuds Is the invoice for that project auto generated? You should be able to check the invoice type it under the Invoicing tab on the project site. I think it takes a while for the work to the checked and invoices uploaded. If you did it in October you should be able to see it towards the end of the month, or at least that's what I'm expecting with my auto generated invoice. I'm quite new to this so not 100% sure. Grin

Tattiespuds · 18/10/2020 15:55

It's listed there but I can't click on it. When I try to create a new invoice it doesn't give anything on the drop down for project.
I read in FAQs that if you do any work you invoice each time you do it. So if you do an hr one a project in the morning you invoice it then if you do another he later same day you invoice that too. So was confused why I can't add mine.

I assume from your reply I should be able to invoice it once the work i did has been checked/approved?

poohsticks13 · 18/10/2020 17:12

Try adding 'new row' to the invoice you already have.

peabrainer · 18/10/2020 18:37

Any Crispers: have you had your statement this month? Thanks

ElectricEels · 18/10/2020 18:42

@peabrainer I've had mine

Tattiespuds · 18/10/2020 23:10

@poohsticks13 it creates a row, I can input date, select type as normal or default I forget what the only option is. Then on project nothing in drop-down, can't type and can't do anything with next option as it says to select project first.

peabrainer · 19/10/2020 07:13

Thanks @ElectricEels I wonder if it's because I managed more than £300 this monthSmileI will give it a few days more

TheSeedsOfADream · 19/10/2020 07:14

@peabrainer, mine came last Wednesday and I sent it on Friday.
@Tattiespuds, I had this with B*tler last month- first it didn't appear on the "auto generated", then it appeared but I couldn't get to it to check it in any way. That lasted for about 2 days.On the last day of the deadline I raised a ticket and they got back to me saying there had probably been a glitch at the project manager end and almost immediately it appeared "inside" the invoice with the details (iyswim)

Is this a special project where you invoice as you go? Otherwise I don't think anything will show until the end of the month (if it's auto)
