Very true - Mr Castle could be doing anything. Bots are lying liars, who lie.

The company behind Liz Earle has lost the plot if their latest email newsletter is anything to go by:

There’s been a lot of chat about essential oils this week – catch Liz making her own soothing blend here. If it’s left you feeling inspired, it’s worth knowing that you can find a whole array of essential oils at Neal’s Yard Therapies. What’s more, subscribe to Liz Earle Wellbeing today and you’ll receive a free £10 voucher* to spend at Neal’s Yard Therapies to spend on whatever you like – essential oils included. We think that’s something of a wellbeing win!

Oh dear.

Re Castle’s DS holding on to the side of the car like that. The third post mortem my DH attended as a medical student (I know it was number three because it’s indelibly marked in his mind), was a seven year old boy who had been doing EXACTLY what Castle’s son is doing. The boy lost his grip as I understand it and when he fell, because of the forward momentum he fell sideways towards the rear of the vehicle and the rear wheel went over his head. They weren’t going more than 10-15mph either. That’s one PM I’m guessing WPC Castle didn’t attend.

Sorry, horrible story but my DH can never forget it and neither can I. There’s a good chance these things won’t happen but why not improve the odds by thinking it through?

Norma27 · 24/07/2020 17:44

That is awful @YouokHun. These things happen in a split second. My stepdad was crossing the road to catch the bus home. He used that crossing every day. That day was dark and raining and we think he just misjudged stepping out, or possibly slipped. The CCTV didn't catch it because of trees in the way.
A body does not look nice after that has happened. We could see him but the top of his head was covered up. As were his arms and legs as they were broken.
Castle is an absolute twat and really does need to be called out on her stupidity.

Norma27 · 24/07/2020 17:46

That was in the chapel of rest. The police wouldn't let my mum go to identify him. My brother did and he can't discuss it.

BSintolerant · 24/07/2020 17:55

How awful @YouokHun. What a senseless thing to do.

The trouble is with the likes of Castle, Yawn, Uber and Bloodsucker (to name but a few) is that they never stop to think of the possible consequences of their actions. If they did, they’d realise that MLM is a predatory business model which damages lives. They’d realise that because of their lies and fakery some of their downlines have got themselves into debt purely to line their pockets - and they’ll encourage them to spend even more because they’ve got a six-figure Directors’ Loan to think about. They might even realise that preying on people in Third World Countries is abhorrent. Brainwashed folk don’t think though, do they? Why would they need to when all they’ve got to do is ask the universe to grant their wishes.

BSintolerant · 24/07/2020 17:56

@Norma27 what a dreadful thing to have to go through. People forget how fragile life is.

BSintolerant · 24/07/2020 18:01

They’re all out in force: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/_chat/3977071-Is-Usborne-books-an-MLM-or-ok?watched=1&msgid=98580385#98580385

Wonder if this is down to the DSA?

Norma27 · 24/07/2020 18:01

Thank you @BSintolerant
It has made me quite militant about road safety now.
You are right about them not thinking about the consequences of their actions. I just find it so strange from ex police officers. Just like bruv filming himself jumping out of a wardrobe when a woman came in her room from the shower. So bike.

YouokHun · 24/07/2020 18:09

@Norma27 that’s such a terrible thing to happen to your stepfather, how tough for you all and it is split second tragedies like yours that makes one realise how precarious life is. I hope you and your family are able to come to terms with it in some way. Have had a similar thing in my family so I know it’s not an easy road :(.

I agree @BSintolerant, I think the need to attract attention in a desperate bid to maintain whatever level they’re at always trumps wisdom. Showing how fun, glamorous, happy today is HAS to be done or the house of cards starts to collapse. What pressure they’re under, with no real control over “their” business. I’m not surprised they don’t want to look ahead to their financial oblivion or the un-fun consequences that could come a result of getting some fun footage for the downlines to lap up.

ToBotOrNotToBot · 24/07/2020 18:12

I think taking any kind of risks with your kids is mindless. Why chance it? Freak accidents happen all the time. The story just shared is proof of that. So sad! You can be fun Mummy without taking stupid risks.

Norma27 · 24/07/2020 18:14

Thank you @YouokHun. I hope you are dealing ok with whatever you have dealt with too He had been my stepdad for over 40 years, I am very close to my actual dad though.
It was very hard for my brother who was his actual son, and my mum. It is the 'what ifs and if only' they find it hard to deal with. As said above, it takes a split second.

YouokHun · 24/07/2020 18:21

Yes the DSA’s current positioning of MLM as a harmless side hustle with trusted companies is really vexing me. The DSA DG has now done interviews with BBC Leicester, Merseyside and Nottingham. I haven’t listened to them all but what I have listened too was full of inaccuracies which were completely unchallenged. I thought the BBC didn’t allow advertisements Hmm

BSintolerant · 25/07/2020 07:32

A few days ago the Daily Heil ran a feature where people (including Jenni Murray) were reminiscing about Avon before it was turned into an MLM / network marketing scheme.

Getthekettleon2020 · 25/07/2020 10:05

Norma27 · 25/07/2020 11:23

I wonder how many non forever shite people will wish yawn a happy birthday.
I always find it amazing how bots only really have other bots as friends.

fromdownwest · 25/07/2020 11:38

@norma27 - It just becomes too much.

I lost a friend to FL, every single time she met up, all she would do is try try recruit. Every time someone mentioned sports, she had a tablet, illness, she had a diet it was draining.

Literally all she talked about was FL.

In the end, our group stopped inviting her to events, she then turned on us all, haters and all that. She was part of the south wales gang, so I know how many of them are really really unliked by large groups of people.

It was sad, but had to be done, as she was tiring and the whole group dynamic was drained.

Norma27 · 25/07/2020 11:39

I agree @fromdownwest
It really is tragic.

BSintolerant · 25/07/2020 12:25

Is your former friend still ensnared by the FL cult @fromdownwest ?

fromdownwest · 25/07/2020 14:00

I don’t think so, I know her partner had to pay off a lot of her credit card debt from his JOB.

Norma27 · 25/07/2020 20:16

I've seen a few videos where people are wished a happy 40th. None so boring as yawns. Just shows how sad it is when you have no actual friends.

Norma27 · 25/07/2020 20:22

Love the us guy ( sexy rexys son?) says he can't believe she is only 40. Comedy gold there as she thinks she looks 21!

Norma27 · 25/07/2020 20:33

Just watching homeschool's live too. Not a good advert for weight loss products. She is actually bigger than ever. How do people fall for bullshit by her and yawn when we can see it is all a big fat lie? That's before them both having financial freedom too.

Spongebobette · 25/07/2020 20:37

How come she has eyebrows under her eyebrows?
