She let it slip during that video announcing the 24 day shred starting on 1st August that she finds it hard to maintain weight loss after doing the c9. So she's doing the fit15 after and hopes to lose 2 stone.

So much for the c9 resetting your habits!

Looks like Yawn has told her to use the c9 she's had hanging around for months and try to get sales from people who want to buy one to do with her, at the same time. And she's doing a 24 hour sale so will hardly get any profit, if any.

Got to keep the minions using the products themselves eh, Yawn.

RogueApostrophe · 15/07/2020 17:15

The only thing Nurse will shred is her wallet.

fromdownwest · 15/07/2020 17:15

It shows how they drive people away when in an MLM. The only 'friends' Castle appears to have are linked to FL.

Not just idela gossip, just shows, that if you are b*lls deep in an MLM, normal people run a mile. You are left with a friendship based purely on what they can get out of you.

Would GDPR bot have been invited if she was not in FL

9dartfinish2nd · 15/07/2020 19:12

Partylite are moving away from the MLM business model it seems.

Wonder how many CEO's have just had the rug pulled from under them?

SSDGM · 15/07/2020 22:04

Just noticed Broke’s new enterprise has a “tentative” launch date on the 1st August.

I’m trying to see what’s so great in these pills they are flogging but there’s nothing in them that has any effect like he is claiming.

Not a fan of the DM but we need more of these sort of articles during the current economic situation.

Norma27 · 16/07/2020 05:35

Hate to say it but bloody well done DM.
Definitely need more if these articles.

GoldenKelpie · 16/07/2020 08:09
A discussion about Forever Fibbing has reared its ugly head here: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/am_i_being_unreasonable/3967402-forever-living
BS great little thread, loads of useful links and info to anyone who dips in to read.

Not one voice who is defending MLM so far and this I think is because there are now so many articles, video and blogs about how damaging MLM is and more people are realising it is a toxic business model.

I recognise so much in that article in the Daily Heil, hate to acknowledge it, but good work...

@SSDGM "Just noticed Broke’s new enterprise has a “tentative” launch date on the 1st August."

Knowing his level of literacy, he probably thinks this means the launch will take place in a marquee.

Spongebobette · 16/07/2020 09:08

Grudging thanks to the DM

I wish they’d dig into Forever Living top bots’ income a bit more and exposed what a state their company finances are in

It’s too easy for the minions to be told to ignore the article because it’s full of failures who are bitter

BSintolerant · 16/07/2020 09:17

That article in the Daily Mail is most impressive. I’m sure it will rattle a few cages in the Monkey See Monkey Do MLM Zoo this morning. Grin

BSintolerant · 16/07/2020 09:21

I agree @Spongebobette, but there’s plenty of room for that in the comments section. Grin

watnochequeagain · 16/07/2020 11:46

That article is the best yet - wonder if the bots have seen it? I am sure they will gather to launch a charm offensive!
The days of MLM's hiding under the cover of darkness appear to be over!

fromdownwest · 16/07/2020 12:00

If the article generates a lot of 'clicks' then you can bet your bottom dollar a follow up piece will be done.

As an aside this breakdown of FM world is worth a watch

CompleteBarstool · 16/07/2020 12:10

Anyone know whose downline the FL woman was in?

unoeufisunoeuf1 · 16/07/2020 13:31

@CompleteBarstool

Anyone know whose downline the FL woman was in?
I really want to know this too! Not many clues to go on in the article but if she's Glasgow based it could be one of the Scottish bots?
Spongebobette · 16/07/2020 13:44

Wow this was in the comments:

Back in 2010 I began suffering from quite bad anxiety. Someone recommended acupuncture for it so I made an appointment. At my appointment the lady took my history, early 20s, relationship breakdown, made redundant recently and was suffering from anxiety. She then spent the rest of the appointment telling me about her lifestyle selling forever living. I dont know whether I was sucked in or felt too awkward to say no but I signed up. Paid 200 for starter kit. She then hounded me to recruit and sell etc. I only ever sold 3 items (all to my mum). One day she told me to throw a selling party. I said I needed more products for people to sample. She opened her garage which was piled high with unopened products. She said she bought some each month to meet her sales targets and was 10,000 in debt but it would all pay off. I ran for the hills. Looking back I was easy prey and vulnerable at the time. But morally it was wrong of her

Botbrigade · 16/07/2020 14:09

Has the article been taken down? It’s gone from being top story to nowhere to be seen!

unoeufisunoeuf1 · 16/07/2020 14:43

No, looks like it's still there.

I just noticed that the FL woman's name was changed to protect her identity.

Bluewavescrashing · 16/07/2020 14:46

BBL is flying out yo Turkey again. Back to the clinic?

YouokHun · 16/07/2020 17:46

I see Homeschool is having a crack at introducing her chicken cartilage scam to India. She’s also having another bash at Twitter - that’s not going well with only anti MLM responses.

YouokHun · 16/07/2020 17:51

*No, looks like it's still there.

I just noticed that the FL woman's name was changed to protect her identity*

You’re observant @unoeufisunoeuf1 - she’s probably getting some very nasty/sinister pushback from the “supportive and empowering” uplines of FLP. It’s annoying that the article has moved out of sight. There are a lot of pro MLM comments and a focus on the sales element. I think we need to galvanise the anti MLM experts to start commenting on the huns’ defence of the scam!

Norma27 · 16/07/2020 18:03

I'm in an exercise group and I keep warning people off mlms when they ask a question about shakes/diets etc.
Loving the 'discussions' I have with bots. Obviously I don't know what I'm talking about, have had a bad experience myself etc. Now a bot is playing the bullying card. They just hate the fact they can't send dms now without the person knowing how awful their company is.
If I can save even one person joining up then I am happy.

Spongebobette · 16/07/2020 18:42

Weird. I have tried to comment several times but they haven’t appeared - nothing any stronger than what others have said...

YouokHun · 16/07/2020 19:47

@Spongebobette maybe the MLMs have got at the DM, so they’re avoiding anti comments and have moved the article into some dusty corner? They’re quite aggressive at the mo having been stirred up like a wasps’ nest by the criticism of their Covid conduct (and there’s plenty of evidence of it). I wonder if the first furloughed recruits are starting to realise their mistake and if the Covid MLM boom isn’t looking quite like the gateway to better times for the uplines. The last thing the MLMs need is stories from people who got burned earlier as well. If one of the subjects has had to change her name then I think we can assume an MLM had got aggressive and perhaps some bots have gone after individuals. Quelle surprise. That’s female comradeship MLM style Hmm
