Cloud workers/chat from home

Essentially paid to flirt/sexy chat, I can't claim to be too knowledgable about these two!

Fivver/upwork/guru

Paid 'to do' sites. You can offer normal services on the latter two, or do odd things like sell a video of you clipping your toenails on Fivver.

UTest is down again.

Lougle · 04/03/2020 16:23

I haven't had that one, lilmishap.

@SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock my first issue was accepted on Test.io and my second wasn't, which tbh, I'm not massively surprised - after I logged it I thought 'What if it's just badly designed....'

lilmishap · 04/03/2020 16:26

My bad
They can also join if the have the required PC, and test from home!

bluelefant · 04/03/2020 16:33

I had no time to do much in December so it was just researching really.I find signing up to all these various websites I never heard of before a bit overwhelming. They all store my personal details...
Anyway signed up to a few and earned some money.
In February I managed to earn from
Prolific £12.59
Qmee 1.72
Swagbucks £20 and just missing around 200SB to another £5
Clickworker just paid me £4.79(that's for Jan and Feb)
Ebay £17 after all fees
I passed Crisp test after 4 attempts!(every time 18/20 before!)
I really need to get round to sign up to Appen

If anyone wants to try Swagbucks please use my refferal link and we both get 300SB.It's surveys and cashback website and you need to collect 800SB for £5.You will get there really quickly in your first month as I cashed £20 in January too.
Might be an option if you have time whilst waiting for other projects and you can gain a little bit back from your online shopping.

@otterses, another vote for a bloody big thank you for starting and keeping these threads alive. Even if every one of them was an affiliate, good on you!

@bluersky, may I add my voice to the others. If you don't like it, start your own and put the work into it. You sounded rather nasty, and no one is forcing you to use the links.

Catatemyhomework · 04/03/2020 17:14

@lilmishap, I've signed up for that project. Didn't realise you had to go to Berlin. It didn't say that on the signing up form, but on closer inspection it does say it on the for more details click here bit.

MoreMoneyPlease · 04/03/2020 17:30

@otterses I had no idea most of these sites even existed before I found this so another huge thank you from me! I just passed the test for TestIO so fingers crossed will be a bit more to add to the pot.

Need to get cracking on my Appen task, it's a transcription one and I'm not keen... Anyone had problems through not doing enough hours on an Appen job?

MrsWombat · 04/03/2020 17:49

uTest are still recruiting for these UK projects if anyone is umming and erring about signing up.

More work from Neevo. Short transcriptions for 15p each. Check your email.

Wildthyme · 04/03/2020 18:12

This thread and most of the previous ones have been the nicest and most friendly threads ever on here. They've been life changing for a lot of people, self included. I really don't want that to change. It's usually the Bob Ross of threads.

ChickenCluckWaddle · 04/03/2020 19:54

Yes thank you Otterses. I'm another that reads far more than I post and these threads are really helpful.

I seem to have been given another freetrade link if anyone wants it:You should sign up to Freetrade! It’s an app for investing in the stock market with no fees. Plus, when you sign up, we both get a free mystery share!

Don't forget to top up with£1. Would the last person who used mine please top up, or neither of get the share ! Thanks a lot.

Wildthyme · 04/03/2020 20:11

@GachaBread BME have loads of mystery shops to do in all the local shops in my area. I know 3.of the owners because they're all mates with my mum. How would I do them without being noticed as they're so small?

3dogsnorth · 04/03/2020 20:20

I'd like to sincerely thank @otterses for all these threads. This has been LIFE CHANGING for me and I can't thank you enough for what you do

spacepoppers · 04/03/2020 20:20

@otterses there are a lot of us on here who are genuinely grateful to you for starting and maintaining these threads. I, for one don't question your motives or intentions, so please don't take any negativity to heart.

GachaBread · 04/03/2020 20:39

@Wildthyme pretend your talking to a friend on FaceTime on your phone about whatever product you need to take a photo off.

Say your friend has asked you to grab her something and you need to show her what products are on the shelf so she can show you which is the right one. They will think ur on FaceTime talking , in reality ur snapping away and making money 💰 lol

GachaBread · 04/03/2020 20:47

@Wildthyme is it the premier jobs snapping the dog or cat food jobs your talking about? If so these are easy. They will take you a minute or 2 at the max and the good thing is the premier or spar shops only have a small selection which is usually well out of the way of the tills.

If you are still a bit nervous you could wait until one or two other people enter the shop and then shopkeepers will be busy with them and you can duck in and out quick.

Wildthyme · 04/03/2020 20:52

@GachaBread The Premier ones. There's 8 all within walking distance from my house to my mum's, and to the beach Grin

I'll give it a try out tomorrow.

Thank you so much for the advice.

GachaBread · 04/03/2020 20:52

@spacepoppers hope your okay and doing well too ❤️

GachaBread · 04/03/2020 20:55

@Wildthyme hope you clean it up. That will be £25 in your pocket if you get them all. Let me know how you get on.

Catatemyhomework · 04/03/2020 21:14

Right, I've sat and done Neevo transcriptions for 2 hours now. My bum's gone numb and fingers ache, but I've made $20.

ZetaPuppis · 04/03/2020 21:17

@catatemyhomework well done. I managed 80 tasks then had to take a break!

Catatemyhomework · 04/03/2020 21:22

Well done @ZetaPuppis. I made it to 150 but I can't do any more tonight!

Sallycinnamum · 04/03/2020 21:25

I would also like to say a humungous thanks to @otterses too!

I've been doing N* for two weeks and should bring in £350 if I do it every day. I'm getting less work on the mobile app but more on desktop so I'm switching it around each day.

If I can clear at least a quarter of my debts this year it would be a huge help. Without this thread I'd have had no idea this work even existed.

flameprincess · 04/03/2020 21:38

What's everyone's experience of 20cogs? Initially it was quite easy to complete cogs but I've got quite a few now that are grey despite me completing them - and it keeps offering me offers I can't do as I'm not a 'new' member of its recommended sites. Not sure I'm going to get the 20 I need to release the funds at this rate!

spacepoppers · 04/03/2020 21:58

Hey @GachaBread! I'm still here, plugging away..level 10 now, halfway there woop! :) It's been sick kid central in my house this week, so the new wave of jobs that have popped up will probably have to sadly pass me by, much to my annoyance.
Hope you're doing okay? Has CW picked up a bit?
@Wildthyme the Premier ones are super easy, like Gacha says. The more you do, the more confident and quicker you will get at it...trust me! I thought everyone was staring at me the first couple of times I did it haha. Also, I'm very jealous that you live close by to a beach, that's my ultimate dream...one of these days fingers crossed.
