Paid 'to do' sites. You can offer normal services on the latter two, or do odd things like sell a video of you clipping your toenails on Fivver.

@EchoLocation @ifuckarses it will show in the invoices tab on Appen. Sometimes if everything you're working on is auto generated, like B*ne - meaning they add the hours for you, it might not show until the end of the month.

If you're working on another Appen project where you manually add hours, the auto generated hours tend to show up on there sporadically too throughout the month.

Nothing added to my invoice and I already have one generated from other projects, although I only started yesterday so maybe that's why.

Pleased to have had last months pay go in to payoneer overnight.

speaking of pay, I thought clickworker paid on a weds? did anyone get paid by them yesterday?

Anyone worried about tracking you could take screenshots? That is what I am doing as lost several hours of pay a few months ago because their tool said I hadn't done the work I had screen shots of the finished tasks but not how long they had taken me.

It's goid with this though as the screenshot clearly shows how long you worked.

I also only recently found out that if you press the windows key and the print screen key together it takes the screen shot and saves it automatically. Saves loads of time pasting and saving. I can't believe I never knew that I wasted so much time in the past haha

I just keep a note of hours worked in my notes app on my phone. I write when I start and then when I finish I convert that to hours.

@rhij86 I'm waiting on clickworker too, last time I got paid was a Wednesday but I read somewhere that it's usually between Wednesday and Friday, fingers crossed it's today!

FFS that 3rd b*task I've timed out twice! I've done an hour only got 3 done

@lilmishap, I don't like this 3rd one. Sometimes the query is unintelligible and I have absolutely no idea what results satify the query because I don't know what the query actually is . Also I am only managing about 3 an hour. Haven't managed to do 10 yet.
@Frenchdoors1, I don't know, as much as I'd love to be paid for 63 hours work, I doubt I will! I haven't worked for Appen before, so was hoping some Appen-wise soul would enlighten us!

I've got to grips with it now. Started on the project yesterday as applied after part 1 finished and have done a total of 5 hours so far so I'm happy with that.

Are we thinking this is going to be a long term project?

@rhij86 definitely! I'm due 120euros, my best total so far so I'm being impatient, refresh refresh refresh!!
On the plus side my crisp statement has just come in, wasn't expecting that today.

Appen question! If a project states an hourly amount and provides work in tasks, are you typically paid per whole hours, or do bits of hours count? Not sure if I need to make sure I get it rounded out by invoice time! Finally on a project and have another waiting to start :)

Bits of hours count so your invoice might say something like 2 hours 37 minutes.

Is anyone in Appen project S**way? Just wondering if it's actually working for anyone else.

Not great news today. I didn't get the job. I'm first on the merit list though, it was all down to one point apparently which is frustrating. So hopefully a vacancy will come up in the next few months that I can be allocated to.

Thank you both I'm trying to be a reasonable adult about it. Bit gutted as I do really want to get out of my community based role, but that's life I guess. And the money would be nice!
