Paid 'to do' sites. You can offer normal services on the latter two, or do odd things like sell a video of you clipping your toenails on Fivver.

OP posts:

@bluersky, What you’ve said is completely untrue and bang out of order. I cannot disagree with you more. In the op, the links are simply links to the websites except for the shares ones, all you have to do is check for yourself. How else will people know which website to visit if she does not provide a link. On previous threads, I see people asking for links to this sites but putting it in the OP has meant that
any newbie can just visit the sites themselves. It’s so wrong for you to just come on here and wrongly accuse her of trying to make money off people.

rhij86 · 04/03/2020 14:06

@girlcorne damn, you caught me, I'll get £100,000 referral bonus for each person who clicks on the link, never mind applies Grin

MrsWombat · 04/03/2020 14:12

As someone who occasionaly starts the second thread of the month and posts refferal links I think it's biscuits all around! BiscuitBiscuitBiscuitBiscuitBiscuitBiscuitBiscuitBiscuitBiscuit

YetAnotherRainyDay · 04/03/2020 14:19

@SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock Same. I just wished they wouldn't keep pushing one back continually and not providing speedy updates.

Catatemyhomework · 04/03/2020 14:27

UTest seems to have gone really quiet on me, apart from the 6 week project I'm on, I haven't had an invitation from them for a while. Hope I haven't upset them.

anxiouswaiting · 04/03/2020 14:35

Looks like there are a few of us waiting for the two B projects! Also the M ones that might be restarting. Frustrating that they keep getting pushed back. The project I was doing has just ended only lasted 2-3 weeks but I managed $580 so pleased with that.

Would love to get on another long term one, I miss Inari.

Madre77 · 04/03/2020 14:37

@lilmishap I agree I am struggling and have days where I just cannot face it! But am catching up late evenings. I dont work off of hours I like to get a certain figure in a day but I am not as disciplined as @GachaBread. I struggle with the war and peace messages or the one worders and those who insist on saying bye over and again- sorry rant over lol.

I agree with all. This thread literally saved me when the universal credit system would not give me a penny I can now follow my dream of working from home and supporting myself and my little one. I read this several times a day and problem solve issues as well as find new avenues. I also believe like @Fanniee this is the work of a bitter wooden hut owner!

GachaBread · 04/03/2020 14:48

@Madre77 I struggle too, I've had to buy a dictionary/thesaurus which I got for £3 from the works, it massively helps me.
Don't beat yourself up, just do what you can when you can, it is hard when life gets in the way and to keep motivated with it. Trust me I have my moments too. I've only done 100 today and I am not going to do any more. I am going to watch some Netflix later and just chill.

Maybe have a glass of wine 🍷 too!

GachaBread · 04/03/2020 14:50

@Madre77 also google sexual innuendos and cheesy chat up lines so you will get some more ideas of things to write.

Lougle · 04/03/2020 14:53

@Catatemyhomework I think UTest is a bit quiet right now, don't worry.

lilmishap · 04/03/2020 14:54

@GachaBread that's a good idea....I might google 'ways to say sorry not this week I'm busy', that's what does me in.

Lougle · 04/03/2020 14:54

I've put two bugs on Test.io but I am not feeling too confident.

GachaBread · 04/03/2020 14:58

@lilmishap I feel your pain and know exactly what you are going through.

Also when I watch Take Me Out that paddy guy has some wicked one liners too.
Trust me you have to think outside the box. I get inspiration from the most maddest things lol!

SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock · 04/03/2020 15:02

Fingers crossed @Lougle, i've had my first 2 accepted but i'd be gutted if they weren't. I used to do bug testing as part of my day job pre-kids.

Catatemyhomework · 04/03/2020 15:07

@Lougle, thanks. I haven't seen UTest this quiet. I was inundated a couple of weeks ago and now nothing. Maybe all of the projects we're waiting on will kick into action at once and we'll be inundated with work! Grin I can only dream, but it would be a nice problem to have!

Claudiawinklemansfringe · 04/03/2020 15:09

@otterses ...a massive thank you from me too. I have been suffering from depression due to having a shit menopause and your threads over the past year have helped me want to get out of bed and tentatively work again after 12 years of being a SAHM. I'm now £3.5k better off after 10 months of taking part in various things that you have linked to. Better still I can fit in all these odd bits of work around my family and I don't have to commute! Flowers

And @Fanniee ...I'm thinking exactly the same as you!

Madre77 · 04/03/2020 15:12

@GachaBread thank you for the tips, I have a tab with a thesaurus open and I am really good at the banter - its just the ridiculousness that this person can never meet or use all the technology we have to hand (rolls eyes).

TheCanterburyWhales · 04/03/2020 15:13

blue-are you the one who whinges every year about the Christmas bargains threads as well? Hmm

As my school may be about to close for at least 2 weeks thanks to fucking Covid, and I don't get paid if I don't work, I actually thought this morning (instead of breaking out into a cold sweat) "well, at least I've got the money making thread, I can just step up what I do off the back of that"

So, again, Flowers and more than heartfelt thanks to everyone who has been contributing since we started all this last year. As other posters have said, I've also not been around much last couple of threads because of the extra money I've been thanking thanks to otterses and everyone else.

But if someone wants to show me the eleventy billion pound referral links than let me at them.

GachaBread · 04/03/2020 15:14

@Madre77 it's every person demanding to meet I no! Exhausting thinking of 1001 ways not to meet.

Whatsmyname2019 · 04/03/2020 15:25

Hi quick question can you do LionBridge and Crisp? Does anyone know? Thanks

TheCanterburyWhales · 04/03/2020 15:29

Think so, it's Lionbridge and Appen you can't.

MrsArchchancellorRidcully · 04/03/2020 15:35

Does anyone know how long appen can take to sign you up. I've not heard anything for over a month now.

Signed up clickworker but earning pennies for quite a lot of time investment. Not looked at I test yet.

TheCanterburyWhales · 04/03/2020 15:41

I didn't get anything for Appen for 8 months. It seems very random, sometimes people get accepted within days, other times you wait months and never get put on the project.

bluelefant · 04/03/2020 16:04

I have been a lurker since some time in November, never posted before.
@otterses please don't be upset.I also completely disagree with what @bluersky said and found it helpful that the links are in the OP. It doesn't bother me at all that you might be gaining something from some of them, you totally deserve it Flowers

lilmishap · 04/03/2020 16:16

Utest people did you get the email about new voice assistant that requires you to go to Berlin? Seems a bit odd
