Cloud workers/chat from home

Essentially paid to flirt/sexy chat, I can't claim to be too knowledgable about these two!

Fivver/upwork/guru

Paid 'to do' sites. You can offer normal services on the latter two, or do odd things like sell a video of you clipping your toenails on Fivver.

Sorry posted this on the Feb thread by accident. I really need to look at a calendar! I've downloaded Chip and it looks great but I'm having issues connecting to my bank account. Just gets stuck on the authenticating screen indefinitely. Is this a common issue? There's no live chat on the app at the moment.

Concestor · 01/03/2020 16:59

Is there a newbies guide to these methods anywhere? That list looks a bit overwhelming.

BertieBotts · 01/03/2020 17:06

Just pick one at a time zurala and give it a go :) People will be able to support you with it if you have questions.

Catatemyhomework · 01/03/2020 17:15

Thanks for the new thread. Some of these totals are amazing. Well done everyone! My February has not been great. I think around £200. I didn't do anything in half term and Appen still not kicked in for me yet either. March has got off to a great start though. I have about £400 to come through from previous work with UTest, Clickworker and Neevo. I hope it continues.

DarkPassenger · 01/03/2020 17:55

Hi all, some brilliant earnings for Feb posted there up above. Well done Grin

I earned €1.23 on Clickworkers - go me!

A question regarding uTest work if anyone can help please.

Today I collected my donated refurbished LT with Win10 and other modern things like Skype!

I was telling the IT guy that showed me how to do a few things about my first invitation to paid work on uTest - so excited!

However when I said that I would need to use Windows Insider for this project he advised against it as anything could go wrong and kill my new LT Sad

I do understand there are risks but has anyone used the Insider program that could give advice/experiences?

BertieBotts · 01/03/2020 18:29

That sounds ridiculous - the insider updates come from Microsoft, they aren't just random things from anywhere. Yes you might get unexpected results - it messed up my sound drivers a bit, DH is more techy than me so he worked it out in the end. But nothing major anyway.

Anyway you can opt out of the insider project and revert to previous version of Windows after you finish the test.

DarkPassenger · 01/03/2020 19:08

Thanks Bertie. Your comment and a bit of reading on Reddit has convinced me to go for it.

I've now claimed my slot and Insider is installing. Wish me luck!

DontCallMeDarling · 01/03/2020 19:12

Just checking in......

Lougle · 01/03/2020 19:24

You're joining the slow ring anyway, so massive issues will already have been noticed by the fast ring crazies Wink

Catatemyhomework · 01/03/2020 19:53

Does anyone on UHRS on Clickworker know how it works with taking the qualification and when you get offered paid work? I have passed the Qbank questions, I think as my offby accuracy is

Catatemyhomework · 01/03/2020 19:53

Sorry, meant to say that's for a specific hitapp on there.

TheLolaMontez · 01/03/2020 19:55

@justtheonethen a week today for induction! EEEEEEKKKKK
IF he is head down by then. So far he's been breech and transverse on Monday just gone Hmm - hoping he will get himself turned by next week or it will be a csection for me slightly worried

otterses · 01/03/2020 19:57

@TheLolaMontez

Shock no bloody way is it that soon! I can't believe how quickly that's flown by.

OP posts:
TheLolaMontez · 01/03/2020 20:04

I know @otterses Shock I can't believe it either!! It's so weird to think in a weeks time we could have another baby. I've not even got used to the idea of being pregnant yet Grin
I've also not finished packing my bag - best get onto that!

I'll do a tally of earnings for Feb, think I did fairly well this month, especially with gaining access to UHRS on clickworker. Cloudw's was a bit slow, hoping for improved traffic on there soon!

I suspect that my March earnings may be a little lower than usual, until we find a new routine! Although I could maybe find time for some free styling on cloudworkwers during the night feeds Grin - now that's dedication for you!

UnderReview · 01/03/2020 20:08

.

3dogsnorth · 01/03/2020 20:14

@purpleghost

I'm seriously impressed with your Clickworker earnings. I just got access to UHRS last week and have made the princely sum of $16.35. If you don't mind me asking is there a good time to be on? What kind of tasks do you do? I get on and seem to get booted off again after a while

justtheonethen · 01/03/2020 20:21

@TheLolaMontez eeeeek that is so exciting! Turn baby turn!

@Catatemyhomework I don't know, I think when you click start judging on each task it's paid? You may be talking about one I haven't seen though.

TheMamaYo · 01/03/2020 20:31

Just over £500 for me across a few of the projects. Very happy with it... but also, no idea where the heck it all went. I need to look at my spending as much as I do my earnings, apparently!

Catatemyhomework · 01/03/2020 20:56

@justtheonethen, thanks. It is usually, but this one says N/A next to pay. It's comparing two sites and rating them for user intent. I did it with isoftstone once and you have to practice then you get 2 Qbanks and then if you score 0.4 or less in one of the Qbanks you get to do the work. I just can't work out how to get to the paid work bit. Maybe they contact us.

justtheonethen · 01/03/2020 20:56

@Catatemyhomework ah no idea then!

Mc2020 · 01/03/2020 21:30

@BertieBotts that doesn’t sound right! Can you see any projects that you’re not qualified for and if so can you apply for those?

My total for Feb is -
UHRS - £150
Appen - £180

Really happy with those as literally only was able to work an hour or two each day! Need to get my head around Neevo this week.

SpirallingThroughAnotherDay · 01/03/2020 22:25

Just checking in, thanks for the new thread Otterses Smile

Quite pleased that I managed just under £200 for Feb across various tasks, March is looking goodGrin
UHRS is a bit hit and miss, I've done ok on a couple but then others just seem impossible and frustrate the life out of me!

PurpleGhost · 01/03/2020 22:31

@3dogsnorth

I've only been doing Clickworker for a couple of weeks but it's mostly luck from what I can see. The new hits just seem to drop in at random times so I keep the page up in the background and refresh whenever I think of it. It's definitely income that you can't rely on regularly.

I was kicked off loads and some instructions don't make sense. I found one about checking the rewording of sentences and the adult one is the best for me so far. This week has had hardly any hits though unless I've just missed them all as they go quick sometimes Hmm

BertieBotts · 01/03/2020 22:37

I have 10 Current Processes but I have no idea if I'm qualified or not for them - because I don't know what they are defining "qualified" as.

Aha OK if I ask it to show me things I'm qualified for I get nothing, but projects I'm not qualified for shows all the ones I've applied for and some I haven't bothered because they need the wrong language or whatever.

All my projects just say "This process is currently in progress, but there is nothing for you to do at this time. If you wish to view the latest status of this process, please click "View Status"."

It's all Qualification on that screen.
