Paid 'to do' sites. You can offer normal services on the latter two, or do odd things like sell a video of you clipping your toenails on Fivver.

Had a wave of that sickness bug in my house back in Feb @spacepoppers. Hope you and yours get better soon!
CW is much better now, it best stay that way too lol, and well done you for reaching level 10.

Catch up with you soon my lovely 😊

lilmishap · 04/03/2020 22:17

@Catatemyhomework you don't, it can be done at home, I emailed her and she said if you have a pc you can do it at home.
I emailed EVERYONE in my family. They all decided it was a scam.

Love my family Sad

Catatemyhomework · 04/03/2020 22:17

@flameprincess, I tried 20 cogs once and completed two cogs. Gave up pretty swiftly myself. I wasn't really in to the signing up to stuff and then having to remember to cancel it again. Plus I had a few phone calls from people telling me that I had recently applied to change my energy providers, etc. I couldn't be arsed with it all, but you sound so close to finishing that it would be a shame to give it up now. Personally though, I do think there are easier ways of making money than 20 cogs.

Catatemyhomework · 04/03/2020 22:20

@lilmishap, that's good to know. I have applied anyway. Quite fancied a trip to Berlin too. Oh well! My family are like that as well. They think everything is a scam. I tell them they are just not yet enlightened to the modern ways of working! Grin

Tinging · 04/03/2020 22:36

@flameprincess I did 20cogs about two years ago, i set up a separate email to do all the offers as some sent loads of spammy emails. It was a bit time consuming and I did it here and there over a few weeks but made about £150 for no real work, so I thought it was worth it.
A couple of things I found useful were to take screenshots of the confirmation pages of each offer you claim and keep them so if it doesn't track a month later you can prove you did sign up or do the survey or whatever it is. Also set reminders to cancel every free trial on the last day of the trial period or you will be charged.

DarkPassenger · 04/03/2020 22:45

I'm another one that is going to shout out thanks @otterses.

I registered for uTest, Clickworkers and Neevo purely on the back of information on this thread. That was about 10 days ago. On Sunday I picked up a refurbished laptop and since then I've earned over £50! Otterses has given me real hope that I will be getting out of a toxic situation much sooner than the 12+ months it was going to take me before I found this thread! She should be on bloody commission never the odd £1 here and there from referral links.

Question about Neevo if anyone can answer- where do I find how much I've earned so far? I managed to do 155 of those audio transcripts earlier and actually have 155 logged in my work history! I'm still only showing 12 tasks of the 100 batch I did the other day so was a little concerned. Also today's batch had $0.15 each do I need to put that through a currency converter to find out how much £ I earned today?

UTest going really well, I've earned nearly £40 on my current project with another 3 weeks to go and have applied for two more including the confusing Berlin one.

Good luck everyone, I hope March is productive and profitable for us all Flowers

flameprincess · 04/03/2020 22:50

@catateyourhomework thanks I think you are right I am too far in to the 20 to give up now! It's been a lot of signing up for this and downloading this app, I can't wait to blimmin delete them all!

@Tinging Glad to hear a good result with some perseverance - I have took screenshots for the ones that aren't tracking at all and will submit tickets. My total so far is pretty decent so I just need to keep plodding on with it!

Catatemyhomework · 04/03/2020 22:54

@DarkPassenger, with Neevo, they always pay for what you've done in my experience. They are good like that. I just get the amount done from the task, it should say in the top right corner and multiply it by price per task and then convert it from $ to £. I multiply it by 0.76 in my spreadsheet which I think is the conversion rate.

Tinging · 04/03/2020 22:58

@flameprincess great that you have got the screenshots already, I had to submit quite a few tickets but the customer service at 20cogs was really good and pretty quick at sorting everything out.

girlicorne · 04/03/2020 23:07

I ve been doing Neevo transcriptions tonight as well I did 161 before they ran out, I really enjoyed them too, think with the conversion it’s around £19 for a couple of hours work so I m happy with that 😀

Catatemyhomework · 04/03/2020 23:25

Ive been so preoccupied with trying to earn money that I've forgotten it's world book day tomorrow. God I hate world book day! Thankfully only one dc still in primary but it's still a total pain.

Catatemyhomework · 04/03/2020 23:31

Just seen there's work on Ba* on Appen. Not logged on yet as in bed now and tired but there is work. Will try tomorrow morning.

lilmishap · 05/03/2020 00:13

B* is live!!!!!

otterses · 05/03/2020 07:51

https://www.focus4people.com/system/projectsAll.asp?qsaction=apply&pId=10872&gId=15354

£100 reward for a 5 hour online study type thing about gambling, not sure if the link will work, but if not it's on the focus4people website is f you fancy applying.

And it's not a referral link and in case anyone is wondering Wink

I do apologise for taking it all a bit personally yesterday Blush lot going on at the moment at work and at home, everything feels a bit much at the moment.

OP posts:
rhij86 · 05/03/2020 07:53

I'm up and there are still tasks on B*ne! For how long who knows, but I can get a couple of hours in this morning if tasks allow.
The email said this first batch they are required to complete by some time tomorrow, so jump on it if you can.

Suebnm · 05/03/2020 07:54

@otterses

I wouldn't care if it was a referral link, I owe you for this thread. You have changed my life. Seriously.

Suebnm · 05/03/2020 07:56

@rhij86

I've been beavering away on B* for at least 2 hours now. I didn't realise there was a tight timeline.

rhij86 · 05/03/2020 07:58

@suebnm I saw this in the email: Our goal is to complete this task by FRIDAY March 6th, 2020 at 4:00 PM Pacific.

I'm assuming that there will be further batches, as I'm sure I read that there is enough work to last until June once it started?

Are you taking your time - there's no way it is going to take me 5-10min per page but you are paid for your time not the number of tasks you do so seems silly to rush?

otterses · 05/03/2020 07:58

Thank you @Suebnm and everyone else that's said similar Grin that's all I've ever wanted! To feel like I'm helping people and (hopefully) giving people some sort of control over their finances.

OP posts:
Suebnm · 05/03/2020 08:03

@rhij86

I am definitely not taking 5-10 minutes per page but not rushing either if that makes sense.

pisspants · 05/03/2020 08:11

It is good to see so many people doing so well on here. This thread has helped me so much. Last June I was in a terrible financial situation and decided to take serious action and stop spending on credit cards which was what I was relying on as a result of general overspending (nothing very over extravagant though).
I have finally got to a position where I have a small cushion of savings (£1500) which will hopefully mean I don't need to use my credit card again.
I've hardly been out or done anything since last summer but have been beavering away at mostly Appen (2 projects) but also some Cambly, survey sites and matched betting but more recently low risk casino.
I should now have a little extra each month from this to enjoy life a bit more and I've decided to use a third for fun, a third for savings and a third to pay off debts (about £3k on credit cards). Finally I can see the light!
I would never have known about any of these things if it wasn't for you lot and I certainly wouldnt have thought it would be possible to have got to this point by doing an hour or 2 online most days.
So I am really grateful and just wanted to come on here and wish everyone the best of luck with it all as it really does pay off.

rhij86 · 05/03/2020 08:12

@suebnm yep it does. I'm just catching up on threads and emails in between pages to eek them out a little Grin

Lougle · 05/03/2020 08:13

Morning! I have no internet and even my 4G has gone, so I'm down to H+ on my phone. This message is a labour of love Wink.

I'm not sure if I'm well, tbh. I've just found the last couple of days really hard, my confidence has gone with the testing and I'm finding everything emotionally exhausting.

The internet going down was the last straw!

GachaBread · 05/03/2020 08:17

@Lougle dust yourself off and try again!
You can do this hun!
Do not give up xxxxxx
