Managed to get onto appen forest but doesn't sound like it's worth it. I assumed it would be $14 per hour like most of the projects ..

MoreMoneyPlease · 29/01/2020 14:10

Came across another company called LiveWorld, they have openings for Bilingual Customer Service Agents that might be of interest? Don't think my coffee shop Italian will be up to scratch...

Been paid for the Neevo Orthographic transcription work. I'm very happy! Smile

anxiouswaiting · 29/01/2020 14:47

How odd. I got kicked off the Neevo transcriptions because apparantly I failed some inbuilt QA. My completed submissions dropped from 370 to 21. I questioned them and said I know I couldn't have so many wrong and was told all my submissions will be checked manually and I'll be paid only for the ones manually approved. Well they've just sent me a payment for all 370 tasks! So I didn't get it wrong then and was kicked off for no darn reason.

Been doing the forest task today and all the works gone, same old story wait for ages and then it is gone in a flash. Pay is rubbish though and is not the level they said it would be so maybe I am better off focusing elsewhere.

Think this is going to be my worst month since I started

Catatemyhomework · 29/01/2020 14:50

that's exactly what happened to me @anxiouswaiting. I did over 400 and then got kicked off and my dashboard said I'd done 29. I emailed them and got a lovely email back saying it was a system glitch and it's happened to lots of people and that they would pay me manually. Looks like they have as I have received payment for all of the ones I did. Would have liked to have done 1000 though as that would have been $150.

SNISR · 29/01/2020 14:56

Yaaay been paid for neevo too!

I thought I would give you my perspective on the "holy grail project". I did the exam, it was hard and not straightforward, I miraculously passed it first time. I was delighted! Perhaps because it is their big one, they are strict, you don't get any concessions for being a newbie, you get penalised if you don't make your minimum time, you get penalised if you aren't quick enough and you get penalised if you make too many mistakes. I know they threatened it with the pre-Christmas projects but with this one they do it!!! I am hoping I will get better with time assuming I don't get chucked off first. Blush

My free trade referral link is still up for grabs x

DontCallMeDarling · 29/01/2020 15:46

Sorry reading that back sounds very negative. I think I'm just frustrated by all of this and my motivation has gone out of the window.

rhij86 · 29/01/2020 15:46

@DontCallMeDarling oh gosh! Well done for getting on, but that sounds rather stressful! Hope it gets better for you :-\

rhij86 · 29/01/2020 15:47

@DontCallMeDarling I totally understand the frustration - with any job there is a 'settling in' period of sorts, you would expect it to be the same for this. Hope things improve.

SpockPaperScissorsLizardRock · 29/01/2020 15:49

Does anyone have a Honeygain referral? i think i'll give it a go.

DontCallMeDarling · 29/01/2020 15:54

@rhij86 aah thanks. Me too. It has made me realise once again that the more pies you have the better, you just never know how something will turn out. Good luck with your test.

rhij86 · 29/01/2020 15:57

@DontCallMeDarling thanks! I've been given login details for the test, but no access to guidelines yet, so just waiting on that now.

Frenchdoors1 · 29/01/2020 16:27

Latter one.

MoreMoneyPlease · 29/01/2020 18:44

@DontCallMeDarling Excellent! I'll keep my fingers crossed for that email too!

Why is placing bets on MB so stressful? Just done my free bets on 888Sport for tonight and I've broken out into a cold sweat! Going back and forth between my two bets, checking them over and over before I place them. And even then I'm convinced I've done it wrong! @themoneyshed Please tell me it gets less stressful!
