£10 a day thread, January part two

I'm so happy to see the thread has been ticking along with so many new people joining us Grin

It's been a shitty couple of weeks for me. I started out the new year with an awful sore throat, and it turns out I have glandular fever, so I've been too exhausted for any serious money making.

I'm actually really enjoying Chip! It's proving to be a great way to stash all the little bits of money from profilic etc. so I can see it actually adding up to something.

This morning I've switched bank accounts (£100 for joining, then £100 if I leave unhappy in six months) and managed to reduce my life insurance policy by £9 a month, and get £85 cashback for doing so via Quidco, so I'm trying to be productive.

Hope everyone is having a good January.

Loving this thread! I am waiting to qualify on 4 Appen projects. Shoppix and Zipzero have made me £7.50 between them already. Prolific is sadly not very prolific but it's easy money when there are surveys there. Qmee is a right pain in the backside and has netted me £1.16 so far.

On the positive side, I have cancelled a Silly Billy bill as Martin Lewis would fall it, worth £29 a month. I am very embarrassed about not having done it a year ago but it's done now and I will be £29 a month better off this year.

justtheonethen · 17/01/2020 15:59

Still not managed a free share link Sad

Took the banner test and didn't get told if I passed or failed Confused

0htooooodles · 17/01/2020 16:21

@justtheonethen sent you a DM

justtheonethen · 17/01/2020 16:26

@0htooooodles yes please Thanks

SimplyBlue · 17/01/2020 16:33

I've just received £10.04 that I cashed out of profilic. I'm close to £8 on Qmee, waiting for £10 before I withdraw it. I'm hoping for a big project with a higher payout but in the meantime, little bits like this are really helpful. I am so grateful to everyone who has taken the time to share their knowledge, advise and answer questions and so on. I've been having sleepless nights over money worries for over a year, this is really giving me hope and thank you to everyone.

Frenchdoors1 · 17/01/2020 16:35

@SimplyBlue
If I install the gener8 extension do I have to be browsing all the time for the advertisements to show?
Also, is it true that the more people who sign up the more the payout is?

anxiouswaiting · 17/01/2020 16:35

Passed the Appen female transcription, then noticed its lower than usual pay, hey ho I need it at the min but think its a bit cheeky as not exactly an easy task.

Still not had my invoice paid though, getting annoyed now as have bills to pay and they are sitting on $1100 that they owe me.

SimplyBlue · 17/01/2020 16:38

@frenchdoors1

I am not sure about the payout - I signed up after seeing it on here and haven't really read much about it tbh. I installed the extension, and use my laptop as normal. So far I'm not seeing many ads - they show pug pictures in place of ad's until they've worked out which ad's are best for you, or something like that. But the number of coins I have has gone up quite quickly I think considering the amount of time I spend online on my laptop (I use my phone far more)

Starlight2004 · 17/01/2020 16:47

If anyone has a free trade link they could message me it would be much appreciated. I keep missing out.

Frenchdoors1 · 17/01/2020 16:47

@SimplyBlue
Thank you!

I was just googling it before I signed up because I'm the same as you, I'm on my phone more these days.

The above doesn't involve the scary test that needs Ten hours of study, application is simple.

Does anyone have experience of the internet safety evaluator position? I've been offered both but the ISE does involve the scary test.
Umming and ahhing about which to accept as can't do both.

anxiouswaiting · 17/01/2020 17:02

Gah just passed the Ban test on Appen only to find there is no work at the minute and probably there will be another exam too! Don't understand why they recruit for tasks that have no work on them!

themoneyshed · 17/01/2020 17:03

Evening all!

Hope you've all had a great day! I've been here, there and everyone but have now come on and replied to some of the PMs I've had about earning money from home and how to get the most from it ;)

Happy Weekend y'all!

SpinneyHill · 17/01/2020 17:10

@ConfusedPupMama Do you have the right equipment (android IOS Win10)?
Lionbridge seems to have a few websites I don't quite get it, I filled in the applications for SME on 2 different links and was unsuccessful on One but not the other.
One has earnings in £ and the other $ one has actual humans replying to emails within a few minutes the other takes days.

It's all a bit confusing, but if you want it I'd suggest trying through a different channel as they all seem to be the same job for the same people but different recruiters.

The Smart Crowd email I posted is not one of the links I applied through. I signed up to the smart crowd site months ago and the email is the only contact I've ever had from them.

SpinneyHill · 17/01/2020 17:16

@MynameisJune it's the software version they're interested in, not the age of the handset, It asks you to put in the model, mines over 3 but they said it was fine.

But, again this company confuses the hell out of me as it seems to have different entry requirements for the same jobs.

Lougle · 17/01/2020 17:18

I've just passed the women only test. I knew the answers but I really didn't want to click them in case I was wrong!

lilmishap · 17/01/2020 17:26

Ok I'm about to post a free trade link. A few of you are asking for pms but I don't know who's had and who hasn't so this is the warning

lilmishap · 17/01/2020 17:32

I've had fluidstack for months but only one £5 payout. Honeygain works better imo. I'm getting £20 every 20-23 days on a laptop and mobile.

SNISR · 17/01/2020 17:33

Could someone kindly explain more about free trade? Never done anything on trading. So do we just leave the money there and what happens after?

DontCallMeDarling · 17/01/2020 17:39

@justtheonethen regarding test, me too. Got a standard email saying thanks for registering. I have a feeling we are a technical glitch! May need to email them. Will email tomorrow if I still haven't heard.
