I'm so happy to see the thread has been ticking along with so many new people joining us

It's been a shitty couple of weeks for me. I started out the new year with an awful sore throat, and it turns out I have glandular fever, so I've been too exhausted for any serious money making.

I'm actually really enjoying Chip! It's proving to be a great way to stash all the little bits of money from profilic etc. so I can see it actually adding up to something.

This morning I've switched bank accounts (£100 for joining, then £100 if I leave unhappy in six months) and managed to reduce my life insurance policy by £9 a month, and get £85 cashback for doing so via Quidco, so I'm trying to be productive.

@lilmishap, I did the surveys for the voice utterance projects and haven't received any payment. I hope I applied for them properly. I just completed and submitted I think.

There is a new Appen project listed which I will nickname Jumanji, which takes my active processes up to 27!

Careful if you work for Neevo, I have done jobs before and its been finebut I've spent hours doing 371 of this poorly paid transcriptions and they've now blocked me apparantly for failing a random QA check. They've now decided I have only completed and will be paid for 21 tasks. I am fuming! I had more than that which were just single word transcriptions so I know I didn't get 350 wrong

@Boobahs I was insanely excited when I got four messages from Appen. However, it turned out that for me, too, they were all for the Scottish natives, and I'm not.

@lilmishap my only problem with LionBridge is that they want me to have a phone less than 3 years old. Mine is 4 years old.

Question here about appen.

I emailed saying I'd not got any work, and then got invited to 4 different forester projects. I think all are nearly finished but still have some work available. Should I apply to "work" all 4? Or is it better to pick just one? I have never done any work for Appen before.

No problem. I was not expecting it to be such a long wait to get paid. Looking on the bright side that it will be a little boost to my bank balance at the end of the month when I need it most.

@SimplyBlue 2 are for Scottish and 2 are for English. My home screen says neither have started yet, but that isn't the case. Are they really finishing?

Finding it rather annoying and unprofessional that there's been no update yet on the December statements.

i've had 4 identical emails through from Appen relating to Fletcher but they haven't fixed the work this button for me. it's the English one that i already qualified for so i have no idea what is going on there.

On the chat, they've told someone only a small team are working it as there isn't much available but when the bulk is uploaded (?) we'll get put to work.

Has anyone upgraded their devices for earning money? I'm using a Samsung Galaxy s6 Edge+, which is 4½ years old now. I'm reluctant to upgrade without earning anything first, but I'm also aware that having an old product will reduce the number of opportunities to earn money, too.

How are we supposed to get work through Neevo? I never have any jobs listed to apply for?
