£10 a day thread, January part two

I'm so happy to see the thread has been ticking along with so many new people joining us Grin

It's been a shitty couple of weeks for me. I started out the new year with an awful sore throat, and it turns out I have glandular fever, so I've been too exhausted for any serious money making.

I'm actually really enjoying Chip! It's proving to be a great way to stash all the little bits of money from profilic etc. so I can see it actually adding up to something.

This morning I've switched bank accounts (£100 for joining, then £100 if I leave unhappy in six months) and managed to reduce my life insurance policy by £9 a month, and get £85 cashback for doing so via Quidco, so I'm trying to be productive.

Hope everyone is having a good January.

@0htooooodles, which of the lion bridge job did you apply for?

MoreMoneyPlease · 15/01/2020 18:47

I'm looking into matched betting (again...)

Does anyone (@themoneyshed??) know what the difference is between Team Profit, Profit Accumulator and Odds Monkey? Are they actually all the same and I just need to be on one of these websites?

flirtingwith40 · 15/01/2020 19:23

Those that have recently been added to mod2 on crisp how do you get to it? Can't see anything different

Patapouf · 15/01/2020 19:51

i still haven't heard back from Rev @SimplyBlue

has anyone bee accepted on Forester on Appen? it says that the project hasn't started yet but it still lets me click on 'work this', but the link has 404 error.

With freetrade has anyone had a free share thats been any good? i.e worth closer to £200 than £3??!

MissElizabethLinley · 15/01/2020 19:55

@themoneyshed, thank you, I'll have a read through that.

justtheonethen · 15/01/2020 19:57

@Patapouf I'm still waiting for forester to start too.

justtheonethen · 15/01/2020 19:59

@flirtingwith40 do you need to log in somewhere differently from phase one? I assume your initial phase one log in is different as it's pre moderated content? When you log in to the trust app website you will have mod 2 and monitoring as options.

0htooooodles · 15/01/2020 20:02

@tohaveandtohold erm, I think it was the social media evaluator? I replied to their email stating I'd done everything they asked, but haven't heard back yet.

0htooooodles · 15/01/2020 20:04

@justtheonethen I managed to (finally!) pass falcon elder on appen, but still waiting on starting/login information.

Patapouf · 15/01/2020 20:27

@justtheonethen does that mean i've been accepted? what happens when you try clicking on the 'work this' button? any idea when it's due to commence?

themoneyshed · 15/01/2020 20:43

@MoreMoneyPlease

You want to go with either profit accumulator (which I would recommend) or Oddsmonkey

Team profit just end up pushing you through Oddsmonkey in the end anyway so it’s much of a muchness lol

themoneyshed · 15/01/2020 20:44

@Patapouf

Mine have been around £3-£5 but some on the money shed forum have had ones for a LOT more :)

EchoLocation · 15/01/2020 20:52

@MoreMoneyPlease I started MB a couple of weeks ago and did trials with all three. I signed up to Profit Accumulator in the end because it was the most clear and the odds calculator was really easy to read.
I think The Money Shed does a discount if you sign up to the whole year but I'm doing monthly just to see how it goes.
I'd sign up for trials and see what suits you.
I've got a referral code if you decide to go with PA Wink

justtheonethen · 15/01/2020 20:57

@Patapouf yes if you have a work this button. Same happens to me when I click it.

Tohaveandtohold · 15/01/2020 20:59

@Patapouf, I got 2 free shares for £8.11 and £10 and I still have one queued. I don’t know what to do with them though

GailLondon · 15/01/2020 21:03

I’ve worked two batches on Forester, there isn’t any work at the moment. It’s all been finished in 2-3 days when they added data before.

themoneyshed · 15/01/2020 21:05

@MoreMoneyPlease yeah as @EchoLocation mentions we offer £76 off Profit Accumulator Membership.

Buying it yearly is the cheapest way

Details of the discount Profit Accumulator membership price is here taking it down to £11.66 a month ;)

themoneyshed · 15/01/2020 21:06

@Tohaveandtohold

Wow! Well done on getting such high value shares! Are you going to keep them or sell them and withdraw when the market opens tomorrow?

MoreMoneyPlease · 15/01/2020 21:09

Excellent, thank you @themoneyshed @EchoLocation I signed up to Team Profit a couple of months ago but chickened out after my first bet. Tomorrow I'll sign up to Profit Accumulator and get serious!

justtheonethen · 15/01/2020 21:11

@GailLondon oh wonder why mine says it hasn't started- is yours the England one?

MoreMoneyPlease · 15/01/2020 21:13

@EchoLocation, yes please to referral code!

GailLondon · 15/01/2020 21:15

@justtheonethen yes I’m on Forester-en and mine also says not started yet on the description page, but it definitely has! Not a massive earner though, I only managed to earn around $20 before the tasks ran out. I hope they get more

justtheonethen · 15/01/2020 21:16

@GailLondon how annoying! I was expecting that to be a good earner. Ah well. More appen nonsense, as usual Grin

themoneyshed · 15/01/2020 21:17

@MoreMoneyPlease

Stick with it this time and you'll be fine!

I've made over £40,000+ from Matched Betting and nothing is stopping you doing the same. I'm sure you will agree that's a pretty life changing amount of money!

I've written about it here
blog.themoneyshed.co.uk/matched-betting-guide/

Here are some early Matched Betting totals from people over on The Money Shed forum to help inspire you to stick with it this time!!
