What are some of the consequences for your company if you do not pay your Directors Loan back! (DLA)

If the DLA is left overdrawn by any amount for more than 9 months from the end of the accounting period, Corporation Tax will be charged. HMRC use a rate of 32.5% on Director’s Loans.

An example:
Director’s Loan Account stands at £6,000 in debit (overdrawn) at year end, let’s say 31st July
9 months and 1 day later on the 1st May, the company will be taxed on the loan if it is still overdue
£6,000 at 32.5% means that the company will owe £1,950 in Corporation Tax
This amount is refundable once the full loan has been re-paid. However, be aware that this won’t be instantaneous; you will be likely to wait several months for the rebate.

In a nutshell, the only way to avoid company charges is to repay the loan within 9 months from the the year end date.

I still don’t understand his Director’s Loans can be ‘rolled over’ from year to year? Does this mean that the cash is taken out of the business then repaid into it every year, therefore avoiding tax?

Nurse has shared the same photos of products, featuring half empty bottles, that Yawn used about a year ago. 😂 They are on her February offers. I highly doubt anyone will be buying them except her, or perhaps her mum.

My pet bot and her upline (and her upline) have all published furious statuses about how they've been reported to their previous mlm (younique) and threatened with legal action for breaching the terms of their agreements by actively promoting another mlm (revital u) within a year of 'leaving'.

Popping into the thread briefly to ask...Is Scentsy an MLM ? It’s just that l have a reasonably sensible Mum friend who appears to have undergone a complete personality change in the last 2 weeks. She is uploading FB chats daily about wax melts and appears to have new encouraging lovely mates who also sell the same products. I have had 3 party invites and am beginning to feel a little pressured. Is this the same business model that this thread describes??? Thanks !

I have a neighbour that's deep into it. Every recycling day, I dread going by her house. I know that 95% of the boxes are for her to project a successful business.
But apart from some pity interactions from family on her FB, nothing.
I was on nodding and pleasantry terms with her husband and now I'm worried he'll try and hun me

If ever I was willing to lose my soul, I would probably sign up under yawn. She projects a decent lifestyle, doesn't seem desperate (to an outsider), doesn't tag annoying family members, has pets.

On wig's timeline (last Tuesday/weds) she's tagged in a status re Bitcoin (yellow laughing smiley background). Looking at the profile it turns out he's a vulnerable young adult who seems to take Wig and Sleazes various bizniss Opportunities as gospel despite protestations from his family.

Anyway he uploaded several videos from 2017 featuring W&S. Sleaze states they are launching 3D printing cafes all around the UK and soon to be the globe and this poor guy is one of their UK leaders.

Obviously that went precisely nowhere (what a surprise) and dread to think how much he gave them. In this recent post Wig is still trying to get him to invest and then... he confirms he has.

It's fucking awful. How these people sleep at night....

Perfume parlour do dupe perfumes for a lot less than those FM fakes and they actually smell authentic, and are decent quality.

I agree re Wig. That person on her timeline last week is def a vulnerable person.

She sleeps at night because she lacks morals.
