I've started this the absence of anyone else starting a thread on the subject and since the Chat thread will disappear in a month. Hope you think it's in the right place.

I'm still dithering which is annoying me. I've made a new e-mail - hope to get bank account this week. I keep looking at the different websites like Bonus Bagging and Profit Accumulator etc and can't decide between them. Put off by what Tawny said about Profit Maximiser and don't trust myself to do it without help so going for Bonus Bagging, i think.

Also, I'm sorry for the generic username, I can't work out how to make it different (I'm useless!)

I started with £20 but it was a little slow as I had to wait to get the money back from the bookmaker/exchange then go again for the next offer but after a few weeks it got quicker as I had built up more money from the offers. Now I have a couple of £1000 in the exchanges and in my personal bank account so I can pretty much do any that I want when I want.

So, it is up to you. Starting slow is not a bad idea as you are less likely to make mistakes.

Hi all! I've started MB last week. So far it's going great - I have made around £260 profit so an very, very happy. There are about another 40 reloads available for this week and new starter and advanced offers on the Easy website. I wish I knew a quick way of adding them for you. Will have to google it.

For those of you giving it a go, there is likely to be a couple of price boosts for the Football internationals which is just instant profit so make sure you keep your eyes out for them.

Best advice is to go slow at first, make sure you understand the way the offer works before doing it and don't worry, there is guaranteed to be new offers soon so if you miss one because you are taking your time a new one will be available in a couple of days :-)

I was doing Matched betting but I've completely lost my nerve. Need to get back into it! I'll definitely be looking on the easy matched betting website. I was also thinking about signing up to yes bets to get the spreadsheet part of it done for me.

gardening what made you lose your nerve? How long ago since you had a go?

A few months ago ... I had a couple of bets not really make any money (start up offers that won at the bookies so the rollovers took all the profit). I tried doing a couple of reload offers on my own and that went ok and then life got in the way. I think I just need to get into the habit of making the bets and following the offers. It's stupid because I know I can make money doing it but I just need the extra push to actually get back into it.

GardeningWithDynamite - best thing to do is just cherry pick the easiest offers till you feel confident, ones with no rollover or if you go for rollover offers make sure you choose something at high odds so you lose to the exchange which gets rid of the rollover element.

Hi I have been doing the simple sign up offers. Moved onto stake returned bonuses today and now I'm stuck probably because my maths is rubbish. I didn't think it through - bet £30 on betdaq but didn't match it thinking well I either win or if I lose I get the bet back anyway. The horse lost and now I don't know what to do - do I match my stake returned bonus or not ? I realise now I should have matched the first bet

@janknitti - if it is the one where you have to earn 4 commission points to qualify for the £25 free bet, you will need to win or lose 4 x £25 with them so if this is the 1st lay bet you will need to do another 3 x £25 lays to qualify.

My suggestion is to move onto the next offer and use Betdaq to lay your bets then when you have done 3 more bets at least you get your £25 free bet to profit from so not a total loss.

Whoever you use should have explained this for you in the instructions.

Can't recommend Easy for this one as they do not have Betdaq that I can see but maybe take a look at the instructions of their offers to see if it helps with new bookmakers.

I am very interested in starting MB. Could anyone give me advice on amount of time you need to dedicate per week to make it worthwhile.

Ok - I've restarted!!! I've signed up with OddsMonkey on their monthly plan and I'm hoping that will encourage me to do some more offers. It seems pretty straightforward so far.

@gardenangels - you can make £20+ easy just doing 20mins per week on starter offers. Try the free sites 1st to get going before spending money on any subscriptions. Test the water with no commitment so to speak. Look above for free options.

I think it's a bit like anything, the more time you put in, the more you get out. About an hour a day for easy offers, particularly at the weekend with football would give a reasonable return

@gardenangels it will take you a little while to find your feet at first but I have it down to 30 mins a day and bringing in roughly £500 per month

Great advice, it's always best to 'lose' with the bookie on these as you can end up with extra work on your hands to wager through

If you could guarantee that you would lose at the bookies then there would be no need for matched betting. (In fact, the nature of matched betting is such that, on average, you will tend to win more money at the bookies than at the exchange.)

Betting on long odds with a high rollover is extremely risky, because if the bet wins at the bookies then a significant amount of your money will be stuck in the bookies until you either complete the rollover or forfeit the bonus.
