Hi All,

I've started a new thread as the other was at page 39.
I hope everyone had a good weekend. I'm still just about in my fertile window - I got my LH surge yesterday.

The clocks going forward has hot me a little bit, but I'm looking forward to brighter evenings.

@VillageFete what a good idea is there a certain day u will do the test. I actually have a progesterone (not hcg) here that I was going to do this month but I never did it as didn’t think I’d ovulated so I may as well do that but wouldn’t know what day to do it xxx

Saturnsmoon · 05/04/2023 00:39

@Chocolatebean congratulations, such lovely news. Sending you all the positive vibes for your pregnancy.

@VillageFete that line looks promising, keeping everything crossed for you.

so happy to see more on this thread get their bfps. Sending love to those still waiting 💕

YearoftheRabbit23 · 04/04/2023 13:57

@Baby0523 that must be devastating, I'm so sorry you had to go through that.

I was pregnant much less long that you, maybe that is a factor in how long it takes for periods to resume? Could your GP prescribe something to kickstart your period again?

I'm hoping its because I was further along , but it's so horrible being stuck waiting for a period till we can try again.
I've got a phonecall appt with the gp next week, so hopefully there will be something we can do

Ttc2023x · 05/04/2023 07:59

Congratulations @Chocolatebean & @VillageFete following your updates has given me that extra hope & positivity. I gave my body 3 periods & a chance for supplements to work following my MMC & D&C in Nov so this month we hope to try again. 2022 didn't work out so hoping 2023 things will work out. Iv been taking high dose folic acid, low dose CoQ10 & DHA. Positive vibes please ladies 🤞

Time has been my biggest worry but looking back to where I started last year when i had my first chemical pregnancy the months have flown by & i had to remove this pressure as it wasn't helping :( my partner is older than me so i think that's why i just needed it to happen once we started ttc

VillageFete · 05/04/2023 08:16

My progression isn’t amazing. I really don’t know what to think! Those first 5 mins, the line on second test was light 🥺 But it has darkened.

Top test is 2 day’s old, bottom is this morning. Was hoping for a more obvious progression.

mollibu · 05/04/2023 08:25

@VillageFete it definitely has gotten darker from your original one! Have you tried an early detection digital test yet?

SMG1992 · 05/04/2023 09:00

Wow so much going on in here the last couple of days.
So happy for you @Chocolatebean keep us updated with you are progressing!

@VillageFete That looks defintiley positive and like progession to me, maybe try one of the digital tests and then try again after a few days?

Welcome to everyone new on here, I'm sorry that you've been through such a horrible time but everyone on here is lovely and are really supportive of eachother!

I'm waiting until Friday to take a FRER, I took an EAH test this morning and I think there was the faintest squinty line, but will not get my hopes up yet! I'm only 9DPO.

VillageFete · 05/04/2023 09:06

Yes to the Clearblue digital, it says “Pregnant 1-2 weeks” Obviously i’m now going to be panic stricken waiting to test and it go to 2-3 weeks!

@SMG1992 Oh everything crossed!

Honestly, my line today was so crap in the first 5 mins, but it’s gotten darker. But i’m not certain you’re supposed to read them after 10 mins? Maybe that’s to stop you seeing an evap line though?

mollibu · 05/04/2023 09:12

@VillageFete how many DPO are you?

VillageFete · 05/04/2023 09:54

So it’s IVF, so different but it equates to 13dpo

TheBirdintheCave · 05/04/2023 10:00

@VillageFete It looks darker to me too :) I'd say that's a good line for equivalent of 13dpo.

Chocolatebean · 05/04/2023 12:03

Wow busy busy on here lol. @SMG1992 everything crossed
@VillageFete that line definitely looks darker. Half of me wants to do another test to see if it’s darker the other doesn’t. I have no symptoms at all wish I had some if anything I have more energy than usual 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️.
Thinking about sending that progesterone test away and see what it says.
lots of love to all xxx

hennie222 · 05/04/2023 18:00

Well done @Chocolatebean and @VillageFete keeping it all crossed for you.
Think I'm now out for the month (sooner than expected) ... gearing up to go again next time. Just ordered the vitabiotics proceive plus as couldn't quite stomach the cost of ovum.....

SMG1992 · 05/04/2023 19:36

@hennie222 the cost of ovum is super high! I think the ingredient of methylated folate is important rather than folic acid so check yourself has that
I hope you are not feeling too bad about being out for this month x

OP posts:
Chocolatebean · 05/04/2023 19:50

Hi @hennie222 I bought the ingredients for ovum separate for ages I didn’t realise ovum existed. I used the q10 that was used in the studies in it started with the egg as it is made in Northumberland so delivery wasn’t too bad. Xxx I’d been taking the same things since September so whether it helped or not I guess we’ll never know. I started Agnus castus the month before in my gut I feel this helped but again it’s just a feeling xxx

hennie222 · 05/04/2023 20:36

@SMG1992 thanks. The vitabiotics one has the methylated folate in it and also the q10 stuff so hopefully it will help!
@Chocolatebean that's exactly my issue with this all. I like to take a scientific approach to everything but it's so hard to know exactly what does and doesn't really work, and I guess it's always going to be different for different folk anyway!
I've given up drinking for the past 2 months and plan to continue (hard as it is) and will keep on with the seeds (as i now have loads!) so I must be getting healthier through all this at least!!

Chocolatebean · 05/04/2023 20:51

@hennie222 that was exactly my reasoning as well. It must do something as I suffered severe migraine and daily headaches so bad that I was under the pain clinic as no one else could help I was on gabapentin muscle relaxants beta blockers and codeine. I knew I couldn’t get pregnant with all these so I started taking the supplements and weaned myself off the meds and guess what I barely get any headaches anymore the only thing I can attribute it to is the vitamins.
taking the vitamins was the only thing I had left that I could control after the MC so if nothing else it gave me the ability to think I had control over something rather than just hoping the right sperm would meet the right egg. I also used to mix and match my concoctions how I wanted to and I had loads of seeds as well I also took spirulina as I figured it had to do me good anyway lol. I ended up cutting back on the seeds and dairy as I was piling on weight.
I gave up drinking until Friday when I had just had enough and was really upset as my I watch temps said I hadn’t ovulated so I had my first large glass of wine in 6 months oops lol.xx

Chocolatebean · 05/04/2023 21:01

@hennie222 id also look into serrapeptase there’s no actual evidence that i found however it’s supposed to be good for cleaning out the tubes and uterus I wouldn’t normally give it much credence however 8 years ago I was found to have a hydrosalpinx not sure if u know much about these but it’s fluid in a fallopian tube and the only treatment is to remove the tube I was devastated and was booked in to have it removed. I did a bit of research and took serrapeptase for about a month and then went in for my operation. When I woke up the surgeon ( who hadn’t found the hydrosalpinx but both window to the womb and my local hospital found it on ultrasound had) said there’s nothing there your tubes were perfect it was honestly like my own little miracle and 2 weeks later I was pregnant. The Serrapeptase was the only thing I was taking. It could just be a fluke but I honestly think it was the serrapeptase xxx

mollibu · 06/04/2023 09:19

@VillageFete & @Chocolatebean how are you both today? X

mollibu · 06/04/2023 09:20

At work anxiously waiting for my period to arrive some point today! I can just tell this month wasn't our month😔

TheBirdintheCave · 06/04/2023 09:24

@mollibu Have you tested today? Or are you going to leave it for a few days if AF doesn't come?

mollibu · 06/04/2023 09:26

@TheBirdintheCave no haven't done a test yet- I told myself I wasn't going to be an obsessive tester this month and just wait for AF/No AF.

Although I'm not sure which is better, waiting like this or testing every day! I'm anxious either way really.

hennie222 · 06/04/2023 09:36

@Chocolatebean that's really interesting about the serrapeptase. AFAIK I don't have any tube issues.... but haven't ever really been investigated as the NHS were so slow last time I got PG before we'd got anywhere.
And I know what you mean about the seeds. I definitely need to rein them in a bit in terms of quantity!!!

VillageFete · 06/04/2023 10:40

@mollibu My cheapy Amazon test seems darker this morn than yesterday morn so i’m feeling a bit calmer!

Congratulations on the positives!

I'm in my cycle after medical management of MMC. Only started tracking day 15 as wasn’t allowed to have sex until then anyway. Seems I caught my surge but not sure if lingering HCG was messing things up. Potentially 6dpo and here’s how things look.

Had ewcm around my lh peak but it was mixed with light end of mc bleeding so a bit confusing… and then it came back 4dpo randomly. Today at 6dpo it’s creamy and white.

Will update you on progress in case anyone else is going through the ttc after mc / mmc process.
