Pregnant after 2 consecutive losses

Hi looking for some reassurance or advice from any pregnant again after consecutive losses. I took a test 17th it was positive and have taken daily since. Other than sore boobs and sleepiness loads of cramps I've no sickness. I'm only just 4 weeks. I'm paranoid every time I go the toilet that I will see blood. I didn't even get excited when I seen the two lines just numb. I don't even want to get attached because it will probably happen again. How did you get through it ? I'm going crazy already.

Hi @Ches not long got home, they could see a gestational sac and yolk sac said I'm not quite six weeks yet but coming up to it, going to rescan me in two weeks time. Joe are you? Xx

ChesMum2019 · 06/03/2019 11:14

Does that tie in with what you thought you were ? How are you feeling ? I'm in Friday for a scan. I should be 6 weeks and a few days by then but I know it can vary. I've still had brown spotting once a day so don't hold out much hope to be honest😰

I don't know because since last June my periods have varied by a few days. Really trying to be positive about it and they did say everything is in the right place. Have they said what could be causing the brown spotting? X

ChesMum2019 · 06/03/2019 11:36

I've spoken with recurrent unit and they think maybe because I had a laparoscopy and hysteroscopy the cycle before I conceived. But who knows. To me it's just bad news again. This will be the 3rd in a row. 4th in total. Friday can't come soon enough. I've been feeling really nauseas last few days tired sore boobs etc and feel like it's all in vain I just know come Friday it's bad news for me.

It's not unusual for you not to have seen anymore than that at your stage so don't worry. You have had no reason to worry everything is going well for you x x

So that could explain the brown spotting?, Some irritation might have been caused by the procedure you have had. I truly do hope that Friday will bring you a positive outcome I truly do. We do nothing but worry, it's something that we can't help but do. Xx

ChesMum2019 · 06/03/2019 12:40

I feel like it's probably not that and they just said it to try and stop me worrying a little?! I will let you know how I get on Friday. Its at 9 am so no waiting around all day x x

Please do let me know how you get on, I'll be thinking of you on Friday. I have read brown blood is old blood and sometimes things can get a little irritated. Xx

ChesMum2019 · 08/03/2019 10:15

Omg all was ok. I saw a heartbeat and a splodge. I literally could not believe it I couldn't even look at the monitor I was so scared. She is not concerned by the spotting In the slightest. Showed no areas of concern on the scan. I go back on 19th for another scan

@ChesMum2019 so happy for you! I have been reading this with interest as I'm 5 weeks following 2 consecutive mc's! So happy to see it's good news!! Gives me a little hope! X

Lauraliverpool · 08/03/2019 13:23

@ChesMum2019 that's wonderful news! Bet you are so relieved! 🙂 Xx

ChesMum2019 · 08/03/2019 14:06

I do feel a little relieved but still so
Anxious. I'm guessing that's just how this will be. When are you next back ? My next scan is 19th

Lauraliverpool · 08/03/2019 14:20

It's totally understandable and I don't think that ever goes away. I'm back in two weeks which is the 22nd. X

ChesMum2019 · 08/03/2019 15:09

I should be seen pretty regularly if all goes ok. Nice to know I have that reassurance and extra scans too. How are you feeling? X

OP posts:
Lauraliverpool · 08/03/2019 15:18

That's good that you will be seen regularly, I'd like to be seen regularly too, have a flow chart in my notes that tells you when you see the midwife and I think I will go on the weeks you wouldn't normally unless it's your first baby I think for that little bit of extra reassurance. Boobs are sore, back is aching little today and I've got like this dull ache low down, every little thing is making me anxious, worried about the next scan cause I'm really hoping they will see a healthy baby and a healthy heartbeat. How are you feeling? XX

ChesMum2019 · 08/03/2019 20:26

I think I'm only seen so regularly because of the previous recurrent miscarriages and being already in the clinic. But it's good to have the extra reassurance as I'm so anxious. I just hope all is good when I go again 19th. I'm ok. So tired and my boobs hurt so bad. My sickness is in waves and weirdly none in the morning but in the afternoon and night. Feels like really bad hunger that makes you feel sickly

Lauraliverpool · 08/03/2019 20:47

It's good that the extra reassurance is there when you need it. That's how you want you want it to be every day. Feeling tired too, feeling hungry loads too.

ChesMum2019 · 12/03/2019 13:49

How are you doing Laura ? X

Hiya,

Lauraliverpool · 12/03/2019 16:54

Not too bad, keep prodding my boobs to see if they are still sore, had some backache today and achey low down in my stomach. How are you?, Keep on meaning to ask your first name?. X

ChesMum2019 · 12/03/2019 17:30

I'm Jenn. My boobs are so sore I've resorted to sports bras 😂🙈. I don't usually have much of a chest so it may give me away it's huge. I'm ok just constantly panicky that something is wrong as my nausea comes and goes and is never first thing

OP posts:
Lauraliverpool · 12/03/2019 17:42

Nice to meet you Jenn, I'm exactly the same panicking thinking do I feel the same as I did yesterday, seem to be more hungry than usual.

ChesMum2019 · 12/03/2019 18:15

The hunger is crazy. I spend half the time trying to decide if it's hunger or nausea 😂. Are you at the Liverpool women's ? I'm from Liverpool so have choose there as my other children where born there and I'm under the clinic there too

OP posts:
Lauraliverpool · 12/03/2019 19:08

I think a bit of both! 😅 I've just polished off a boneless box for one from KFC, very bad but I was so hungry felt a bit sick. Yep at the Liverpool women's, had my little boy there.

LJS8987 · 19/03/2019 16:58

ChesMum2019 · 19/03/2019 17:04
