Hope you're ok cloud xxx

Marchgirl · 02/05/2015 07:27

Oh cloud, hope you're doing ok this morning and the spotting has stopped. Thinking of you x

Glad you found Coventry useful pop, and thanks for the explanation re the link between nk and lining prep. It's starting to come together in my head but I think ultimately i might have to accept that I'm not going to fully understand it without studying medicine/immunology for several years!

Justonemoretime · 02/05/2015 07:28

Cloud, hoping its just ib. I had that from 5-7 weeks with lower back cramps... everything crossed its nothing more sinister than that. xx

Sunandrainbow · 02/05/2015 07:39

cloud - really hoping is just a bit of spotting hun. Everything crossed for you. Big hugs. x

twilightstruggle · 02/05/2015 07:43

Hugs cloud. I'm with the others in sending my love and crossing everything it's nothing. Hope it's gone away over night. X

sebsmummy1 · 02/05/2015 07:46

Oh Cloud I too can remember the stomach-falling-through-the-floor feeling of wiping and seeing blood. Praying it goes away and stays away.

mrsdiddlydoo · 02/05/2015 07:55

How are thing this morning cloud? Hope it's settled x

pop you've explained your visit really well! I'm glad it sounds successful...if you know what I mean and thank you for agreeing to let them do extra tests on your Sample Smile I hope it helps them learn more and one day stop ladies going through such horrible experiences as us lot.

girliesaints · 02/05/2015 08:21

Cloud, sending positive vibes to you. Hope it settles down today x

Flen · 02/05/2015 08:28

Thinking of you cloud. Lots.

CheesyMash · 02/05/2015 08:34

pop glad to hear coventry went well and was a positive experience.

barking are you taking aspirin at all? I'm just wondering if I should be taking this now as my app isn't until 18th june (and I didn't think to ask gp til after). I feel that this may have caused mc1 as it measured 8+5wks (although I do wonder whether it got further along but then started to 'shrink' as it was 3 wks later when we found out at the scan) and from my research googling, I think the placenta starts taking over 8-10wks. I feel like mc2 was probably a faulty egg that shouldn't have implanted due to low progesterone (it didn't even have a yolk sac/fetal pole).

cloud hope you're ok x

cloudjumper · 02/05/2015 08:37

Still spotting. And it's red blood Sad Also still got the backache. Wondering if I should call the EPU... But I hate having scans before 8 weeks, there is always the risk of them being inconclusive.
WHY does this have to happen again?!?

CheesyMash · 02/05/2015 08:48

cloud I'm so sorry it's gone to red blood. I would call epu as a scan or examination might show a cause. We're all here for you and willing it to be ok. xxx

tannyLoo · 02/05/2015 08:56

I would call them in your position too. Big hugs. Thanks

Daisybell1 · 02/05/2015 09:02

Oh Cloud, I'm sorry too. I'd call as well.

Flen · 02/05/2015 09:04

I'd call too cloud, I hated not having had a scan for mc2 and wished I could have. So sorry lovely.

twilightstruggle · 02/05/2015 09:08

Oh cloud - I'm so sorry you've got this worry. Massive hugs. Is the epu open? If it is I would call but I know what you mean about the prospect of uncertainty. Xxxxx

girliesaints · 02/05/2015 09:08

Oh cloud, I'm so sorry. Call them if you want, otherwise is someone with you. Sending you lots of ??

sebsmummy1 · 02/05/2015 09:09

Oh darling there are just no words [sad[. I think there is no harm whatsoever in calling EPU and trying to book something in. Even if it's to confirm your worst fears at least it's information and you will be under hospital care. Massive hugs, so sorry.

Minnie74 · 02/05/2015 09:15

Oh cloud so sorry it hasn't settled overnight. I'd definitely try Epu for a scan too. Hand holding sweetheart Flowers

Marchgirl · 02/05/2015 09:20

Hand holding cloud. So sorry you have this worry. I'd call them too. I know that wait would be horrible but you just never know. Hope it settles down before then but if they'll see you I would go for it

barkingtreefrog · 02/05/2015 09:30

cloud Thanks

cheesy I was told aspirin from bfp. If you take it during your cycle it can thin the womb lining. I was also told not to take aspirin Hmm. Two consultants, same rmc clinic Confused. I took aspirin from cd1 for the ivf, but that was because the drugs support the womb lining so the effects if the aspirin don't matter.

Jady77 · 02/05/2015 09:32

I'd call EPU too. So sorry you have this worry, handholding Cloud. From my experience they compare size from 1st scan with 2nd scan in a weeks time so would make sense to get 1st scan asap.

longestlurkerever · 02/05/2015 09:32

cloud so sorry you're still spotting. Still willing it to be ok. I think you should call epu too. These early weeks are just a nightmare aren't they? Hugs and breath on hold for you.

Brummiegirl15 · 02/05/2015 09:33

Cloud I'd really hoped it had calmed down overnight.

I also think you should call the EPAU. Why the fuck do these things always happen at weekends? Big hugs.
