Sunandrainbow · 02/05/2015 09:53

And thanks brummie - it's a news free bank holiday weekend for me then!

Brummiegirl15 · 02/05/2015 10:00

You just know it's going to be rolling news coverage on every station. Avoid avoid avoid!!!!!

We are off to the footy. DP is a Wolves fan and it's last day of the season. So we are in hospitality and then we are off for a bit of a sesh in Birmingham as lots of new bars opened. A few afternoon beverages before we TTC again.

So hopefully I can avoid all the news!

barkingtreefrog · 02/05/2015 10:16

Brummie It popped up in my notifications from BBC news this morning. Yeah, thanks BBC Angry.

Did you make a decision on to call or not to call cloud Thanks

girliesaints · 02/05/2015 10:30

Brimming enjoy! Always like footie drinks x

Wadsy · 02/05/2015 10:48

cloud don't want to give you false hope but I had red blood spotting with my ds and everything was ok in the end. Hope it's the same for you. Not sure where you are based, but our Epu is closed at weekends so it could mean a long wait in A&E but might be worth it for peace of mind. I bet a private clinic could fit you in for a scan today. Sending huge hugs x

Purplefrogshoes · 02/05/2015 11:03

cloud I had red spotting in this pregnancy too! thinking of you, I remember the horrible feeling in the pit of my stomach as though it was yesterday Sad

longestlurkerever · 02/05/2015 11:13

Sounds like a fun day brummie. Enjoy it.

Cloud my epu is open at the weekend.

For some reason it being a girl has hurt me more. She has such a fucking perfect life so if course she has to have one of each too. She comes from a big family do I suspect we will have plenty more announcements to come in the future

I've decided I'll wait and see how the day goes and call the EPU if I'm still spotting. They are fortunately always open and have been so lovely in the past.
I am still doubtful that having a scan will do anything for my piece of mind... Regardless of what might be seen, I will still worry. I spotted at around 6-7 weeks last time, all looked fine with hb and everything, and I still lost the baby at 17 weeks.

Daisybell1 · 02/05/2015 12:11

Oh crumbs cloud, massive hugs to you. Only you know how you will be most at peace. Take care xxxx

TV avoidance here too. I can wish her well on a personal level but god, pg brings out my judgey pants Blush. I had to leave another group after 2 other members got pg with no.2 after having affairs and leaving their partners. That really got me Angry

Jady77 · 02/05/2015 12:15

I really hope it's successful this time Cloud and that the early spotting last time is some sort of reassurance that it wasn't related to the later loss. Flowers

Jady77 · 02/05/2015 12:25

Gosh, I hope that came out as I meant it. I'll be really hoping for you.

I've taken to singing to my tummy, urging that embryo to grow and banning DP from speaking out about his preference for a DD in case it's a boy and decides not to come out thinking it's not wanted.

Brummiegirl15 · 02/05/2015 12:41

I'm actually not as upset about Kate as I thought I would be. I think because it's not "real life" if that makes sense. After all who else gives birth to a real life Princess and 4th in line to the throne??

That said I haven't got the rolling news reports ramming it down my throat as I'm out

Wadsy · 02/05/2015 15:11

Oh cloud how awful to have to wait until 17 weeks before you might.....just might..... let yourself relax a tiny bit. I feel for you x

I watched 5 mins of the news coverage and just logged into Facebook for all of 3 minutes before I couldn't take any more. At least there's an election in a few days so that should change the subject. I know it's really petty and crude of me, but my DH works in news and texted me as soon as he heard, thinking I might want to hear about the royal birth. I took such pleasure in texting back "Gosh that was a quick birth, she must have a really loose fanny." I'm such a horrid person!

IFinishedTheBiscuits · 02/05/2015 15:15

Crossing everything for you Cloud.

Monten · 02/05/2015 16:23

Just delurking from holiday In France to give you a big reassuring hug cloud Thanks

Bloody Kate. Loving the gapey fanny comment wadsy Grin. She's so irritating, of course she had a girl and of course she had a quick, uncomplicated labour. Stupid cow. I bet she's really really boring ...

Brummiegirl15 · 02/05/2015 16:32

Monten without a doubt she most definitely will be!!!!

Am really struggling with this AF due to my hysteroscopy I'm having to use pads, apparently you can't use Tampax.

I hate pads with a passion but after my op my AF is particularly heavy and bright red (which I know is good!) but it's reminding me of mc's and I am finding it quite upsetting. Really really hating it.

Glenpip77 · 02/05/2015 16:42

Hi all, I just thought I would poke my virtual head in to say hello. I had medical management for my third MC in 12 months on Thursday. Going to read through the thread now to catch up :-) x
