I thought it was supposed to prevent it.

I will start a thread for people who despises hrt. Hopefully likeminded people find it.

How about one for people who despise people who despise hrt? Now that would be a good one...

If it was that easy to make people 'obedient and compliant' it would have been available on tap to women decades ago.😄

I don't think the Obedience Drug is really working with me

I suspect the main problem with HRT is it makes you obedient and compliant, oestrogen the people pleasing hormone- no thanks

Too funny. I have been using HRT for 16 years and my husband is still eagerly awaiting my change into an obedient and compliant wife.

There is a really useful video on YT from Liz Earle who explains clearly how flawed this news article is linking HRT to dementia.

This 7 week course (free online and next running this October) from the University of Tasmania's Wicking Dementia Research and Eductation Centre does not once mention the benefits of hrt in preventing dementia.

Likewise, in her book based on her 30-year observational study of women's health, Secrets of Women's Healthy Ageing, Professor Cassandra Szoeke, from the University of Melbourne, there is no recommendation of hrt use for healthy ageing; in a short passage, she says merely the jury is still out regarding it in terms of addressing any modifable risk factors for women as they grow older.
