Anyone in Cheshire/Staffordshire?

We are moving to Madeley Heath in about 4 weeks (from Tuscany) and I wondered if there was anyone local to this place and if they could fill me in on things to see and places to go.

We will be opening a restaurant there too so although I wont have much free time, it would be nice to meet some people for coffee.

Anyone out there????

Merry Christmas everyone particularly in Staffordshire enjoy the day

Try for a get together Crewe is difficult for me as well do not drive also school age children so short time durning the day for to far away!

collision · 25/12/2005 22:08

Crewe was the only place I could think of where the kids could play.

Any other ideas of where we could meet?

I have a car so it isnt a prob for me.

Freeport talke is good as someone said,or there is funsters at stoke (like one at crewe),very close to newcastle,or there is a brewsters with fun factory on a34 between newcastle and talke, its ok.

julienetmum · 28/12/2005 23:30

Brewsters would be better than Funsters to meet up at because it is smaller and more self contained. The toddler sessions are quite nice, I think they are Tuesday or Friday mornings and you get a free cup of tea or coffee.

If we met at Funsters we would be spending all our time chasing around after the children so it would be hard to chat.

I would love to meet up as long as dd and ds are over their chickenpox.

collision · 29/12/2005 19:23

Where is Brewsters?

OP posts:
julienetmum · 29/12/2005 20:43

Brewsters is on the A34 around Chesterton. Pretty close to Makro but on the other side of the dual carriageway

hi fio fio,
where r u now?

collision · 12/02/2006 11:23

Hi Diva!

If you want to come to the a la carte restaurant then I would recommend booking as we were fully booked last night

the bistro is open from 6.30-8pm and we dont take bookings so it is first come first served.

Would love to meet you.

Someone organize a meet up please. If I know when and where then I can sort myself out. Fridays would be better for me and I drive so I can get anywhere really.

threelittlebabies · 06/03/2006 21:24

Nobody? Sniff sniff Sad I'll leave you alone now, promise! Wink

julienetmum · 09/03/2006 23:39

During the day Thursdays are good, though I can also do Mondays as long as I am not hosting an NCT coffee morning.

In the evening any day except Fridays and Saturdays

collision · 09/03/2006 23:40

At Wacky Warehouse from 9.30-11.30am there is a toddler play thing and coffee for Mums.

It isnt far from Crewe....any good for you?

OP posts:
collision · 18/03/2006 11:33
