Hi I am 33 years young and live in Copthorne near Crawley, West Sussex and looking to chat to other mums/mums to be in the Surrey/Sussex area and maybe arrange a meet up sometime. I used to be on the Redhill or nearish thread but that seemed to die a sudden death so thought I would start a new one.

I have a daughter of 17 months and am expecting another girl in October.

It would be nice to meet up, as for big meet ups doesnt look very likely as everyone seems to have disappeared! Let me know when you are free to meet up.

Hope you are keeeping well. I am so tired! Sophia doesnt sleep very well unless in bed with us and keep putting her back in her cot but she wont have it! I think when her teeth are cutting back she gets very clingy. She is not even 8 months yet and has 4 bottom teeth and 4 coming through at the top.

Oh dear Steph

I do sympathise, it must be very difficult. Because Rhianna has always been such a fantastic sleeper and never wakes up in the night, we've decided not to have another as I'm sure if we did, he/she would not be so good and we do like our sleep. Rhianna is cutting her last teeth at the back of her mouth at the moment, but they don't seem to be bothering her thank goodness, although I have been warned that these are the worst so....

The only day I don't work is Monday - not sure how that fits in with you - and maybe Fatbetty (I feel terrible calling you that, Fatbetty!)

Hope you get some sleep over the weekend

Hi Everyone,

Sophia is sleeping better but has had impetigo for the last couple of days although not bothering her it is not nice to look at as on her face.

Hope everyone had a nice weekend. Mondays are ok with me how about Monday the 12th? Fatbetty did email you a while back assume you have been busy? Hope we can get together soon. Is your MSN messenger working as have had probs getting into it for the last couple of days.

Unfortunately I can make the 12th. I didn't get a email Steph. Try again and see if it comes through. I haven't done MSN messenger before - and we just got this new computer so have no idea how to work it. I'm sure it's so easy to do, but I'm not a techie!

Sorry for not keeping up. We just got back from holiday and trying to sort my kids out. They had way too much attention (went on hol with inlaws) and too little discipline and are now crazy. Argh!!! I could use a large drink after the day I've had.

How are you guys? Sorry I missed your meetup. When's the next one?

Nothing planned, problem is Paula can only make Mondays and you are busy on Mondays? I could do Monday 10th if thats any good otherwise I can do Tuesdays and Fridays. Hadnt set a date to meet up yet but was planning on meeting Paula up her way. Or we could meet somewhere central for an evening meet up which would be nice so we could get to have a nice chat.

Where did you go on hols? Hope you had a nice time. We went to centre Parcs at Longleat last week it was nice.

Nice to see you on Monday - sorry Rhianna was a bit of a pain at times. She doesn't usually have that many tantrums! Everyone has said to me that she was punishing me for going away and leaving her at the weekend!

Would love to meet up one evening somewhere central as trying to have a chat with children around is never easy. I had such a lovely relaxed lunch yesterday with a friend - it's the first time we've met without the children and it was lovely and relaxing too.

Keep me posted.

Sorry - we never even mentioned your holiday did we? We have been to Center Parcs in Longleat twice now - last year and the year before and I went when it first opened. It's nice there and lots to do for little ones.

Hope you are all having a good weekend. Not too well here been ill since Friday, had sickness, shakes, sore throat and although over sickness and shakes have swollen glands so off to doctors tomorrow if I can get an appointment!
