It's just me & my DD right now but I'm hopeful that other Plymouth mums will find us. I'm 32 yrs old, my girl is six months & we're ready to be sociable. Who else is? Looking forward to finding out

I lost this thread for a while.. sorry!

I'd love to meet up again, am free most days (without children!). Saw on another thread that Pavlov is due any second now, so perhaps we can get together when she's up and about again?

19fran76 · 29/11/2009 20:03

She's had the baby, yay! Go to Birth Announcements & shed a celebratory tear

How are you doing, anyhoo?

yes fab news on Pav. I am bookmarking this thread and will hopefully make the next meet up!!!

FourArms · 30/11/2009 20:56

That would be great oooggs.

I'm planning on trying out the new soft play place with a few friends this weekend, so perhaps we could there if it's any good?

FourArms · 30/11/2009 20:59

I'm great thanks Fran. Looking forward to my DH coming home.. it's been a long six months!

Saw Pav's announcement... v.jealous!

Fran/Pav/Oooggs - what days are good for you?

oooggs · 01/12/2009 14:28

Twins (2.6) at nursery on wed & thurs but I can come without then and just with ds3 (10 mths)

Best to arrange and I will see how I can fit in - need to be around for the school run ds1 (5)

Yes liked to look of that new place - wonder if they do a twin discount like Jump (BOGOF)

Let us know what you think - word of mouth is very powerful

oooggs · 01/12/2009 14:29

oh and fab news on dh coming home

FourArms · 05/12/2009 19:05

FYI - Tried out Drakes Den today.

Feedback:

Coffee OK, and cheaper than Jump, but latte machine broken. Was too cold, but they say they're struggling to get the heating system right, and hope to sort this soon. DS1 (5.5) and DS2 (3.5) both enjoyed it. Much smaller than Jump. Ideal for 0-6 I think. Not challenging enough for much older ones. Much better than Jump for 3-4 year olds who have outgrown the baby room, but are intimidated by the size of the other section. More sensible menu, with more reasonable prices. Would be a nice place for a meet up.

oooggs · 05/12/2009 21:21

Sounds interesting, ds1 is 6 on friday but would like helping his brothers & sister so would probably survive

But a meet up when he is at school would be better

loads going on this side of Christmas with plays, concerts, parties etc.. so maybe January when everything is flat?

FourArms · 05/12/2009 21:40

Sounds good to me.. and would give Pavlov a chance to bring her teeny baby with her!

19fran76 · 15/12/2009 17:30

Howdy you two!

Welcome home DH to FourArms.

I'm up for putting a little fizz into January with you all. Especially if we can get a peek at Pavs' little addition/completion

Hope everyone had a good Christmas! We had a lovely time.... lots of family staying [slightly frazzled by the New Year, but good fun!].

I've just posted a thread on the local forum with a suggested date for a meet up.

Drakes Den Meet Up - 10 am Mon 25th Jan 2010

Thread here

I'll message people too as I know I always lose track of this thread.

PavlovtheCat · 07/01/2010 12:29

I am BACK!!! with a baby and everything. I did not really leave, but was not in the land of the real world for a v long time, only MN!

Come on Plymouth Ladies. We can do more than three at the meetup this time surely!

We are lovely. Honestly!

PavlovtheCat · 07/01/2010 12:31

Oh to entice you further. I will let you cuddle my newborn if you come. Is that tempting? (or will it put you off?!!) he is not a cryer, more a sleeper/eater, so you won't have to deal with a squawking baby the whole time hopefully

oooggs · 07/01/2010 14:13

ok I am mad (fourarms knows this ) but I have posted on all of the threads to this we are coming and I would love a cuddle (with the baby ) as NOT HAVING ANYMORE!!!!!!

PavlovtheCat · 07/01/2010 18:15

ooggs not mad at all, well you might be but not for the reason stated I posted on all of them too. Keen eh? you now have first dibs on the cuddles with Reuben!

oooggs · 07/01/2010 19:31

PavlovtheCat · 08/01/2010 17:42

PavlovtheCat · 10/01/2010 12:27

come on ladies...we need more people!

PussinJimmyChoos · 10/01/2010 12:32

Pav!!!!! Mega mega congrats!! Next time I'm in Plymouth, we'll have to do a meet up - I can't wait to give your new DS a cuddle and my DS and your DD do play so well don't they

PavlovtheCat · 10/01/2010 12:34

jimmy where have you beeeeeeen! Our kids do play well, can you make it down for 25th? I hope you are well, i know things had been tough for you, hope they have settled a bit xx

PussinJimmyChoos · 10/01/2010 12:46

I work Mon, Tues and Weds so wouldn't be able to make a Monday meet up, but I'm hoping to be in Plymouth within the next few weeks on my non working days, so I'll let you know and maybe we can meet for a coffee? I'll bitch slap anyone who stares if you are worried about b'feeding in public!!

Yes, things are a tad better now although missing my Granddad very very much. The St Luke's hospice was so lovely to him though..couldn't fault them. Better than the crappy Mac nurse!

PavlovtheCat · 10/01/2010 12:57

ST Lukes Hospice have a great reputation.

I have no problems getting my boobs out in public! luckily or else i would never leave the house, the boy loves his milk! Coffee would be great. Do you still have my mobile no? i am sure i have yours so will text it to you...

PussinJimmyChoos · 10/01/2010 13:27

no I don't...you will have to text it to me.

Sooo pleased re your new DS and what a lovely name! Worth all the sickness

FourArms · 13/01/2010 09:44

There has been a couple of other people posting on the local site (gosh it all gets confusing doesn't it!) here and here who can't make a Monday. Would it be OK if we swapped the days to make it work for more people? Pavlov/Oooggs - are you OK for any day of the week?
