It's just me & my DD right now but I'm hopeful that other Plymouth mums will find us. I'm 32 yrs old, my girl is six months & we're ready to be sociable. Who else is? Looking forward to finding out

FourArms yes back in the house and I am not being understanding really. I am pretending to be understanding, so that the builder thinks all is well and does a good job. They are now here for another 3 weeks, not another week as it should have been, which was already 2 weeks longer than it should have been. I want them done and out and I want them to finish this job properly, not with too much moodiness. Problem is they are undoing pretty much everything they had done which is soul destroying, so I want to keep them sweet so they feel sorry for me and do it well, rather than be angry with me and chuck it up to spite me.

Its all an illusion on my part to get what I have paid for .

DH though, he went further and made them bacon butties yesterday!!! How nice was that?!!!

I trust they are behaving themselves today, they should be ashamed of putting a pregnant woman under strain & out of her home. A big virtual slap round the chops to the lot o' them.

My place is still standing! The floor is lowered, the stairs are back in again, all systems go!

I am up for tomorrow still. I will text Fran just in case she does not see this, and see if she is too. I need to get out of here anyway as it is chaos right now, and we have a sofa being delivered tomorrow at some point, think it best if DD and I are out and leave DH to sort that one out (ie where the eff it is going to go in this chaos!)

10am still ok? How busy was it last week?

Sorry for the delay in posting and sorry I did not text you Fran! My friend went into labour/waters broke and her DP was in London so I was with her until a few moments ago.

Am still up for tomorrow. Shall drive by your place at 9:30am? Is that too early? Then we can get the car seat in, and children settled in and off to plymstock for 10am...

I will take your mobile no with me so we can liase if there are any problems.

FourArms is 10am ok with you to meet there?

Can we make it 10:30am at the fun fort? And i will get you at 10:00am fran, DH has just reminded me I have to make a couple of important calls in the AM and this will mean me running around like a headless chicken for 9:30am start! Not a good look I can assure you!

HEY!!!

Lovely to meet you FourArms and lovely to meet you again fran! yes, definitely up for doing it again!

AND, pleased to announce that our lovely new sofa is in situ and I am sitting on it as we speak! Apparantly, the sides come undone with an allen key at the back so it can bend and the get screwed back again! It took the delivery guys 20 mins perhaps!

It is very comfy and I am very pleased!

Really pleased to hear you got the sofa in! Just think of the lovely hours you'll have sitting and feeding on it. Only a tiny bit . Jump was great thanks, tiring, but great!

Does anyone fancy meeting up at the aquarium one afternoon when the kids are back at school? (it's a lot quieter then!)

Yes, definitely! I am going to join, I think it will be a good place to take DD when I have the new LO too, can feed/drink coffee with DD running around!

I am on the sofa, again! I really want to go to bed, but its very comfy! and the front room is not too messy (but the bedroom is horrendous!

DD has croup so would not have been able to come anyway! Not bad, not this time, but enough that I would not want to pass the virus on.
