morning all
another long night and jsut realised I havent slept since sat apart from 2hrs sun lunch time...
Ds has croupe and DD1 asthma is playing up so walk in said tghe dreaded A+E words but convinced them would see GP who can decide if its hospital admission or steroids..fingers crossed for the latter!!So we willl be going there soon..DH is also now startign with the sore throat..joy!!
Only bonus of no sleep means I was cleaning around last night so downstairs has been debugged..pmsl

youre not the only one nemo! as ive been up nearly all nite on both nights! dd1 got tonsilitis - incase anyone didnt noticed and dd2 got a cold and cough..

Hi Biglips, sorry you're dd's are both ill, I hate winter. We've all got a horrible tummy bug here, mine never went , hope everyone (and Nemo's family too) are well soon.

Hope everyone gets better soon...esp the nemo house - it doesn't sound like you need a night or 2 stitting up with DD1 in hospital.

SA2 - did you say that you were thinking of getting a selection of dishes on Sat to share? I would be up for that, if anyone else wants to join in. I like most indian meals, except for the really hot stuff. Only because I can't decide what I want! LOL AR - maybe you could join in too if you're not really sure what to have?

Jammy - I'm with you, I'd like the try new dishes but nothing hot..my tongue can't take it . I hope I can shake this stupid, stubborn tummy bug, I don't want to miss another night out. Nemo, hope your little dd1 isn't admitted to hospital and Biglip's dd2 get well soon too.

Ei has talkied me in to "Cheeky vimto". Not quite sure what it is but will be bringing my part of the recipe (wkd ) am hoping it won't make me decorate SA2's lovely new walls!

A good curry sorts all kinds of sniffles out....and im sure it clears atummy bugg too

I will order and pay for the meals jsut sort it out when you get to mine, I dont like curries too hot and it seems likewe have a good variety so i will just make sure we have enough

I would allow between £5 and £10 for food,...I think wine..sorry cheeky vimto is a fantastic idea!!!!!

AR - Peshwari naan has raisins and (I think) almonds in it. Very nice but a bit sickly if you have a large one! Keema naan has minced meat (lamb, I think) in it and aloo naan is stuffed with potatoes. Guess who lived on the curry mile (Rusholme) whist a poor starving student in Manchester!!
