browny · 28/02/2009 15:32

Jammy - happy belated birthday, hope your meal last night was delicious!.

I came down with a horrible vomiting bug on Friday night, I took the girls to the last showing ever at Allerton Cinema and was in agony with pains all the way through it (it was the Brad Pitt film, Benjamin Buttons something or other... it was on for 2 hours and 45 mins!!, I couldn't wait to get out of there - then was sick all night, dd1 and dd2 were off school on Friday with stomach pains too but they weren't sick, we're all o.k. now.

I'd love to come to SA2's, (Indian sounds brill) think dd3 might be o.k. to leave with dh, she took bottles from him when we went to the pictures... Jammy did you have a word with her??.

Ei - hope you're feeling better soon .

andyrobo237 · 28/02/2009 16:37

OMG I am shattered - just had 6 seven year old girls here for a party for DD - played some horsey games with them, with MTV in the background, then they reverted to dancing along with the tunes! Two fell out with each other and they kept trying to get upstairs!! The baby stair gate stopoed that and I supervised them to the loo!!!!!! Some girls are spoilt brats (in my humble opinion!!) Just as well the neighbour is old and deaf

Biglips · 28/02/2009 17:47

blimey browny...im so surprised that you didnt vomited all over everyone at the cinema! oohhh err hope it doesnt come over this way!. As now dd2 got conjuncitivtis and is full of cold too...doesnt look good in the nappies!! pooooooooeeeyyyyy!!!

oooh so youre all organising a get together again at [email protected] see what im doing as supposed to be going out as talking about having an indian, im baking a chicken indian dish for 2nite

Jaamy · 28/02/2009 17:49

Happy Birthday to AR's DD! Well done on surviving the party!

Browny - poor you. And yes, I did have a word with DD3 but I won't do it again if you're determined to get sick as soon as you get a night out! Hope you and the rest of the family have recovered. You have 2 weeks to get them all trained to behave before Katie's Take Away do! [fingers crossed emoticon]

Happy Birthday to andyrobos dd .

Oh, forgot to tell you, I found out on Friday that I've WON A PRAM!!!!, I checked my e-mails from an old e-mail account and there was one there from Alexia from mumsnet, dated 12th Feb, it said I had 14 days to claim the prize and then I'd forfeit it, so Friday was the last day that I could have claimed, WOOHOO... I'm made up .

colie · 01/03/2009 22:26

Hello everyone, not sure if this is the right place for introducing yourself.

I think I introduced myself about 18 months ago but didn't really come back to the thread much . Promise I will do better this time.

I live just outside Liverpool, on the Wirral. Am I still allowed to join the liverpool thread then ?

I have 3 daughters 6,3 and 13 months.

So, that is me, have to go as still not ironed the uniforms for tomorrow.

gigglewitch · 01/03/2009 22:30

hi all.
well another nice date you've picked ... that I can't do. we're going to a concert at the Arena will wave to you as we pass

Enjoy. Better luck [for me] next time....

Any plans afoot for the easter hols? Count me in!

stoppinattwo · 02/03/2009 07:44

browny · 02/03/2009 09:21

Hi Coli, welcome to our little gang , I've three daughters and two sons, my youngest dd3 is 17 weeks old, hope to chat to you soon .. p.s. you ironed your uniforms before I did! .

Ledodgy · 02/03/2009 09:28

Is it ok if I come this time?

Nemoandthefishes · 02/03/2009 09:37

hi coli and welcome, I am mishi and I have a Ds who is 5, DD1,3 and DD2,2 and DD3 is due in june. Oh and what is this ironing you speak of

Jaamy · 02/03/2009 09:51

Congraulations Browny on your win! Great stuff - fancy wheels for DD3!

And thank you to Nemo for letting me know that I won something too. Been running round all weekend like a blu-bottomed wotsit with DDs' rehearsals and show. Well worth it though, they were fab. [proud mummy emoticon] Little bit apprehensive about this prize though - I don't have a great track record with MN prizes. The last time I won something it was a Baby Shower and we all know what happened there. Just a teensy bit worried that when I use some of these fancy moisturisers my face will fall off or something . DH very excited about the "man creams"

Welcome back to Colie! Hope you will become a regular fixture on this thread. My DDs are 3 and 5 and there are plenty of others on here around the same ages as your girls so they will have plenty of playmates.

GW - am sure we'll be doing something over Easter just let us know when you're not available and we'll go from there!
