I don't see why not, anyone for Bingo

Hee Hee

See how many takers we can get!

Jaamy · 25/02/2009 13:46

Erm let me see. List of possible activities:

meal out
bingo
drinking
bingo
eating
bingo
getting plastered
bingo

any other ideas?!

OP posts:
Jaamy · 25/02/2009 13:47

And AR - am sure you mean "dabbers" not "takers"!

browny · 25/02/2009 13:56

Jaamy, me, me, me! Could you please have a word with my dd3 though, she's refusing point blank to take a bottle from dh! Oh, and I received my La Tasca vouchers today from Tesco's too .

stoppinattwo · 25/02/2009 15:57

eeeeeeeeeeermmmm...Im game. dont mind where

Im for all those activities listed above

or....How about instead of going out.....getting a fancy take away delivered and some wine round to one of our gaffs....thing is with taxis and restaurants soooooooo expensive....just a thought....I would be happy to go anywhere or all come to ours...whatever you fancy.....but i do appreciate we dont get out much so town or wherever is fine too

did that sound complicated

Nemoandthefishes · 25/02/2009 17:54

I dont mind but would prefer more eating than drinking..obviously only so much cola one girl can take!!
also like the idea of a take away in..cheap and comfy..just how I like it

Jaamy · 25/02/2009 21:30

but Browny's got her La Tasca vouchers now!! I'd be up for a take away - you know i'm easy. Browny - you can use the vouchers at any of the restaurants on the Tesco website if we don't get chance to use them on a meet up.

OP posts:
andyrobo237 · 25/02/2009 21:43

Cheap and cheerful would be good - we are getting building work done soon!! Obviously not on the grand scale of SA2 - more of a small kitchen extension to give us a better eating area (and more space for T to chuck his food in!!)

Any evening will suit me, as my Mum will always babysit if DH is working late!!!

stoppinattwo · 26/02/2009 07:07

Browny...how much are you LT vouchers worth? I might take my mum out and was thinking about LT so would buy em off you if you decided you didnt want them and would rather have the dosh

Ohhhh AR building work your kitchen area will be fab with a dining bit on it...

well I think this take away lark could be a bit of a go-er we could even do this on a regular basis...someone elses house each time get together have a good bitch natter about the world and eat and drink.....it sounds like a plan.

I offer to host unless anyone else is up for it. I dont want to be monopolising the venue iykwim but i dont mind really, I realise it isnt central to all us mnetters and so would be happy for anyone to volunteer

AND another bonus point i thought of was..for those of us with little tiny bubbas they could be there too if needed as they can snooze and feed to thier hearts content if required...I cant guarantee that mine will be in bed mind but i can lock them in a room somewhere with their laptops and a bit of tuck!!!!!

Soooooo when where and how....I can do Fridays from 8.00pm or saturdays from whenever

andyrobo237 · 26/02/2009 13:09

SA2 - I am quite happy to come to yours! Havent seen your work for ages (or indeed you!!)

Jaamy · 26/02/2009 15:56

Yeah, I think SA2 this idea is a go-er! We should do something like this regularly. Didn't we day that when we had similar at mine way back in...errr...was it July????? Well if SA2 wants to host this time (am assuming will be March some time), I volunteer to do an evening in April. AR can host when she has her fab new kitchen-diner, etc, etc. We should make one rule though...no-one leaves the gathering unless a date and venue has been made for the next one!

If we do this regularly it shouldn't matter that everyone can't make every meet up because we should all find a venue/date to suit at some stage within a couple of months. Then when we're all affluent again we can have a special nite out.

Whaddyafink?

OP posts:
stoppinattwo · 26/02/2009 16:46

sorted ......right how about 14th March (saturday night??) say from 7.30ish?

That is just a starter, if anyone has any prefered dates in March fri or sat...then shout up ...i suggest we all bring what ever we would like to drink and say allow between £5 and £10 for a take away...the host digs out a couple of good take away menus for choice and then away we go.....

I have indian in mind......tis sooooooo scrummy, but if anyone doesnt like indian i have the gold star on speed dial

Oi jaamy jusr re read your post....who have you been talking too

stoppinattwo · 26/02/2009 16:48

Jaamy · 26/02/2009 17:02
